It's awesome in IMAX as I've said about three times.
But you haven't mentioned if it was the Special IMAX edition you saw...
Of course it was. What the hell is the point otherwise? They wouldn't show just the regular one at an IMAX. It was at the Udvar Hazy Air & Space Museum near Dulles.

The best part was the truck flip. The entire place went, "Whoa!" at the same time.

Best part of the experience, though, was the sound. Just amazing.

The IMAX is playing both. The regular version, and then the one with the special IMAX cameras.

No, I'm pretty sure that they're showing just the "IMAX version" of the film. If it showed standard, it would look ... well, standard through most of it.

Look down a couple movies....

One is the Dark Knight, and the other is the Dark Knight: The IMAX Experience (With special IMAX cameras).

The movie was shot (no matter what) with IMAX cameras for a couple of scenes. The scenes are still in the movie, just when you see them in standard, they're not in "true HD". When you see it in IMAX, you're getting extra from speakers as well as visuals.

I'm just going off of what the website says...lists two different movies...

Yeah. Standard. Or, IMAX. IMAX = Same movie, larger screen and High Def...

You know, between this and G4 ... My head hurts with you.

Why is that so hard to understand that all IMAX theaters are showing all the IMAX scenes?

It's effing pointless to show the movie at IMAX in standard -- that makes absolutely no sense and if you can't get it, well, you need more help than what you're going to find on an internet forum.
