There have been rumors of all of the following to be the lead singer. Chester Bennington Axl Rose Chris Cornell I would prefer Cornell and think he would fit best with this group. |

Yeah. I think Cornell would be a great fit for the band ... but I remember a while ago (not sure if it's still floating) but a Soundgarden type of reunion. I don't really see how Chester Bennington fits in with that type of rock. |

Wow, I really hope they don't pick up Bennington. You might as well stick a fork in them if they do. I know he joined Velvet Revolver on stage for a few songs, so the rumor can go either way there. Chris Cornell on the other hand would be an incredible fit not only from a musical standpoint but they should be able to relate with more factions of the public. This would go up as one of my favorites if he joins. |

Axl Rose sounds like shit now, Chester wouldn't fit in IMO, but Cornell would be perfect. Then again, I'm in love with him, Soundgarden and Audioslave. And, I also have heard a few rumors of a Soundgarden reunion so it may be happening. Would be great if it did cause they will for sure come to the Northwest and put on a kick ass show I'd imagine. |

I think Cornell wants to go solo for a while. Despite the popularity of Soundgarden, when they broke up, he was relatively unknown -- no one knew he was the LS for them. Now, after Audioslave put him back out there (with a little more focus on him) he's selling pretty well as a solo act, I think. Anyway, I really hope he doesn't work with VR -- that would just be awful. |

I don't think it would be awful. He definitely has the voice for VR's sound (unless they want to go in a different direction), and I think it would be interesting to see what he could do with that group. However, I don't think he's the overall best fit. I haven't figured out who I think is, but I don't think it's Cornell. |

I think he'd be fine with VR, but, being a Chris Cornell fan, I would hate to see him join up with them. That's what would be awful. I can't stand VR. |
