I think I feel like im gonna be the one to tear down Yankee Stadium in November
Just be happy that your manager wasn't managing and sitting Pujols like he did that one time.

5$ Miguel Tejada and his 60 year old self is already asleep.
And im also thankful Detroit sucked so bad in 06 that Home field Advantage didnt matter.

But teams like say Cards, Cubs, Dbacks, Phillies, etc have a legit reason to be very pissed.

We should have 30 team rosters. Have 14 pitchers and 16 position players. It would work...

They need to drop this dumb HFA in the AS Game crap

Its really unfair to the team that has the best record not get HF throughout the playoffs

Especially for the NL, since they never win these...

It really has no point

I got Alicia Sacramone

Without looking up records or anything, has this ever changed who would have normally gotten HFA? I think it used to be the team with the better record got HFA, yes? What years did it fuck with that?

It messed up only in 2004 when the Cards won like 105 games, the Sox got game 1, 2, and the momentum and swept my birds outta the park.

I thought it just switched every year (i.e.: 1996 AL HFA, 1997 NL HFA, 1998 AL HFA, etc...)

That's also unfair to AL teams. The AL is clearly the better league, and if you have an AL team with 94 wins get to the WS and a NL team with 95 wins get to the WS.....then you'd have the NL team get HFA when the AL team played better competition throughout the WS.

Just make the 7th game neutral or something.

Just give HFA to the National League. They need all the help they can get.

Classic Onion: "Game will determine if American League representative will win World Series at home or on the road."

Also, from wikipedia (the first thing I could find confirming this): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_field_advantage#Gaining.2Flosing_home-field_advantage

"Prior to 2003, home-field advantage alternated each year between the National League and the American League."
