This is the ball I'll probably end up getting next year.

Drill it off center...maybe 56-60% and try to use it.

I want the Psycho Raw Hammer, 16 pounds, but I fail so I'll never get it.

Columbia 300 Cuda/C for the win! 20 year old bowling ball...still in very good shape. 15 pounds.

Last Tuesday we lost a game by two...my tenth frame score...one pin. I was so pissed. Worst two throws of my life.
Are you kidding me!?!?!?! I hope to god you didn't try and curve it did you? Always just throw it down the center when you need like 5-6 pins.

I really wish I could go bowling with you guys. I literally have followers in my league. Not because I am good, because I am not, but because of the havoc I reek on the pins with my ball. I have already broken pins before, in fact I have one in my room right now that I broke, but the shear sound and force I hit the pins, it's amazing. These little kids who are watching their older siblings ask me if I put dynamite in the ball, lol. I just wish I actually did great with it though. I either have these thunderous shots that break the pins, or I just miss the pocket and then miss the spare attempt. If I can get consistant, I could have a 180 average easy.

Where do you stand, and do you curve early, late, not straight?

Lately I've just gone to this...

Set it to tweener and you have where I stand and my average 'hook'.

Sometimes, more, sometimes less...way to inconsistent. CAn't wait for tomorrow though...I need to redeem myself. I cost us one game and shame a large portion of the blame for the third by missing the spare in the tenth (ten pin, missed it by a cm...should have been a strike, it was a perfect ball, everyone said so).

OK, Clearly I am wayyy behind. 30 pages to be exact. But I would really like to start talking about bowling again. I love bowling. Been in leagues for about 6 years now, and have hardly improved. lol.

My current averaged is about 150. I bowl every Saturday, and last Saturday I had a 467 series I think.

My high game was last year. My highest average was 207. I got a new ball, and my first game bowled a 236, and then my next game bowled a 237. I was fucking pumped. I ended up winning most improved bowler last year. I improved from like a 136 to a 148 average or something like that.
I just use the alley's crappy balls. I think that's part of the reason I don't do really well, the balls have chips in them. But I am too cheap, nor do I care enough to spend money on a personal ball.

Lately in the past few weeks, I have been really slumping. I don't know why. I have been averaging around 145 during the school year, and now am like at 115. My highest game is 190 this year, with a couple 180+ games.

I seriously recommend a ball. Even if you just get a plastic ball for like $65, it will improve you by at least 15-20 pins. Plus, it is nice knowing the ball will always fit just for you and it isn't a crapshot for a good ball.

I mean think about this, you only have a buy a ball once every 2-3 years and that's if you bowl a LOT. $100 or so is not bad for a long time investment.
The only problem is after this semester, I will go back to the typical bowl like every 3 months. So the ball wouldn't be worth it. I have found a set of balls that are pretty good, 14 lbs red balls, there's like 5 of them, so I get one every time.

One thing I have found is that the public shoes suck too. Countless times they don't slide and I end up being off balance, and having to keep myself from getting a foul.

Yea shoes help, but I personally think you can get away with shoes before you can a house ball. But shoes only cost like $40 anyway.

Since we have to pay a sponsorship fee...even if you don't have a sponsor...we just got my god father's business top give us the money and he uses it as a tax write off. So we're Leonardi Automotive. :(

My uncle wanted to use the name "New Kids on the Boulevard" and he wanted everyone to wear New Kids on the Block shirts. I shot that down real quick.
