No one is actually beating Mats to death, but talk of 'will he' or 'won't he' play this season and, if so, for whom has been all over the blogosphere. I don't think you can visit a hockey blog anymore without seeing his name mentioned. For those of you out there looking for something to quell your summer boredom, I've got a fun little game for you today. Sort of like Mad Libs, you can create your own Mats Sundin story by filling in the blanks below. Don't be shy, give it a try! My shot at it is after the jump for your reading pleasure. Today, Mats Sundin made a big decision regarding his future. His agent, (person), announced that Mats has signed a contract with (company/non-hockey team) to play professional (activity). The length of the deal is (number) years for (number) million dollars. In a statement released through his agent (agent's name from above), Mats did not comment on whether or not he would return to the NHL, but he did have the following to say about his newest endeavor. "I'd like to thank the good people at (company from above)," Sundin said. "They have been very good to me and their (product/service) is clearly the best in their industry. I'm looking forward to using (product/service) a lot to (activity)." It is still not clear at this time if Mats will return to the NHL this (length of time). He has reportedly set a deadline for (date) but even Mats admits that is not a hard deadline. To try and clear his head and think things through Mats has gone to (place) with (person) for (length of time). There he is (activity) and (another activity). The latter really helps Mats to (benefit of activity). So there you have it, folks. Still no decision from Mats Sundin, but he is now a professional (activity from above). That crazy, Mats! His agent, Sparky the Dragon, announced that Mats has signed a contract with Neversoft to play professional Guitar Hero on XBOX 360. The length of the deal is five years for PI million dollars. In a statement released through his agent Sparky, Mats did not comment on whether or not he would return to the NHL, but he did have the following to say about his newest endeavor. "I'd like to thank the good people at Neversoft," Sundin said. "They have been very good to me and their Guitar Hero Series is clearly the best in their industry. I'm looking forward to using Guitar Hero III a lot to totally get all the hot babes." It is still not clear at this time if Mats will return to the NHL this millenium. He has reportedly set a deadline for sometime in the next century but even Mats admits that is not a hard deadline. To try and clear his head and think things through Mats has gone to Tahiti with his wife for the next six years. There he is learning to surf and studying Pacific sea life. The latter really helps Mats to further his interest in jellyfish. So there you have it, folks. Still no decision from Mats Sundin, but he is now a professional Guitar Hero player. That crazy, Mats! You never know what he'll do next. |

Today, Mats Sundin made a big decision regarding his future. His agent, Eli Porter, announced that Mats has signed a contract with Hit The Ball, to play professional Canadian-Ping-Pong. The length of the deal is 2 years for .0001 million dollars. In a statement released through his agent Porter, Mats did not comment on whether or not he would return to the NHL, but he did have the following to say about his newest endeavor. "I'd like to thank the good people at Hit the Ball," Sundin said. "They have been very good to me and their Women Helpers are clearly the best in the industry. I'm looking forward to using my new title for a lot of club action, in Montreal." It is still not clear at this time if Mats will return to the NHL before it is 2010. He has reportedly set a deadline for 4/13/09, a day before the NHL Play-offs, hoping to get signed, but even Mats admits that is not a hard deadline. To try and clear his head and think things through Mats has gone to Harlem with Hayden Panatierre for a long time, even longer if he gets shot. There he is playing basketball with the N'Awlins Hoods and playing games with Hayden. The latter really helps Mats to keep trust with his wife. So there you have it, folks. Still no decision from Mats Sundin, but he is now a professional Ping-Pong Player. That crazy, Mats! You never know what he'll do next. |

I love Sundin to death. I would support him no matter what decision he made. He's got a year or two left in the tank where he could make a huge contribution to a good team. Coming back to the Leafs would be sort of pointless since we're in a rebuilding stage. I'd love to see him win a cup anywhere but Montreal. |

The length of the deal is 8 years for 2 million dollars. In a statement released through his agent Al Sharpton, Mats did not comment on whether or not he would return to the NHL, but he did have the following to say about his newest endeavor. "I'd like to thank the good people at the NAACP," Sundin said. "They have been very good to me and their intentions are clearly the best in their industry. I'm looking forward to promoting blacks a lot to rule North America." It is still not clear at this time if Mats will return to the NHL this fall. He has reportedly set a deadline for January 21, MLK Day, but even Mats admits that is not a hard deadline. To try and clear his head and think things through Mats has gone to the White House with Michele Obama for a weekend. There he is rehearsing influential speeches and and working for good cause. The latter really helps Mats to become butt-buddies with Jesse Jackson. So there you have it, folks. Still no decision from Mats Sundin, but he is now a professional civil rights leader. That's crazy, Mats! You never know what he'll do next. |
