According to a report by The Tennessean, the reason Jeff Hardy was not granted access to a flight heading to North Carolina on Wednesday was due to the fact that Southwest employees stated he appeared to be intoxicated at Nashville International Airport's Southwest gate.
Hardy was told he couldn't board the flight, but was not arrested and offered a later flight. Southwest spokesman Chris Mainz added, "He was very cooperative and there was no altercation. There was no need to get police."
