As always, no one can compare to this conference. It will be really fun to watch, but I'd be shocked if Connecticut isn't the class of the Big East this season. Watch for DePaul to be the surprise team. The Keno Davis era has began disastrous in Providence. What a disaster this could be for the Friars with a 7-year, $8 Million contract to a potential one year wonder. |

I hope you aren't attempting to expose the Big East with that logic. The transitive property does not exist in College Basketball. I don't ever want to see the transitive property used again. And for the record, Murray State has a nice program. Unfortunately, their name is a tongue twister. I see you're a Kentucky fan, the transitive property would not shine a lot of light with Kentucky-VMI. |

First of all that was a put down of UofL you dumbass. Nothing to do with the big east Second of all, Western is a worse loss than VMI, because Western lost by 28 to Murray State(i was at that game), and WKU beat the crap out of UofL So, that was a shot at Louisville being overrated, and they will be spanked in Big East play.(that theUK fan in me talk me) And UK is already 1-0 vs. the Big east. And WVU is a quality win so dont give that bull But on to predictions. Georgetown looks even softer then when they had Roy I like UCONN a lot, I think they could win the conference But UofL has the most talent and potential, but leadership and attitude seem to be a problem. Having T-Will as leader wont help them.... Im not sure about Syracuse, havent watched them play. Marquette looks pretty good. Notre Dame, could also win it this year I dont see in overly talented teams so far, but the confence will easily send at least 7 or 8 teams to the big dance |

It's the confusion from conveying on the Internet. If you had said it in real life, I would've understood. But it's hard to pick up someone's meaning via online. Students enrolled into GWU aren't dumbasses. While WKU is a worse loss than VMI, it's not for the reason you've stated. I've warned you already. Don't ever use the transitive property in College Basketball. You'll sound like Jay Bilas. Kentucky will be a bubble team for the NCAA Tournament. Losing Padgett is a huge blow to Louisville, obviously. I thought they were the most overrated team in the rankings. Louisville's not going to the Final Four, they're too inconsistent of a team and seems prone to not living up to expectations, but the Cardinal are fully capable of beating teams of the caliber of Connecticut and North Carolina. Something Kentucky is not. Louisville wins the debate this year, again. |

Marquette 5-0 16-2 Louisville 4-0 13-3 Pittsburgh 5-1 17-1 Connecticut 5-1 16-1 Syracuse 5-2 17-3 Providence 4-2 12-6 Georgetown 3-2 12-4 Notre Dame 3-3 12-5 Villanova 2-2 14-3 West Virginia 2-2 13-4 Cincinnati 2-4 12-7 South Florida 2-4 7-11 St. Johns (N.Y.) 1-4 10-7 Seton Hall 0-5 9-8 Rutgers 0-5 9-9 DePaul 0-6 8-11 Despite attracting some attention in Chicago with recruiting talent, Jerry Wainwright has done nothing in his 3 years at DePaul. Not many happy people there, and the Blue Demons are horrible this year. I'd expect his reign to end at the end of the year. |

Seton Hall's Coach is going to be on the hot seat. He took a gamble recruiting some players with shady backgrounds, and now 3 of them are suspended. The team is left with no depth. The Pirates are a brutal Big East team at 9-8 (0-5) and the schedule just gets tougher. Seton Hall desperately needs a new plan. This season slipped very fast for the Pirates. |

This conference is so tough. You can not have an off day in this conference. I'm convinced 'Cuse would have made the Tournament the past 2 years in any other conference. Syracuse plays Louisville at the Carrier Dome Sunday. |

Congratulations Notre Dame. Halfway through the Big East season Notre Dame is in the same class as mighty St John's, Seton Hall, South Florida, Rutgers, and DePaul. A truly great accomplishment, indeed. |
