It's not that bad. It's better than last year, but the players still don't move fluently. They stutter at times.

Agree. This was the first year I had xbox live and was able to download the game..Here is alittle info on the demo

-You can only play as phillies or Rays
- Can only play In Philly

I didnt care for 2k8 but this game does play and feel alittle better. Fans will actually stand up and go for foul balls and homeruns.

As jrmycmpfan mentioned, the player movement is alittle off. The presentation was EXCELLENT! I dont know about you Jrmycmpfan, but I liked the Announcers for this one. Game had that real feel to it.

Pitching was alittle different and the batting was a basic pull back and push foward. No lock on targeting for hitters.....I will buy this game cause I thrive for a baseball game but I would say rent it before you buy if you dont play the demo.

Oh, what was with the dirt rolling across the screen?

Yeah, the dirt looks terrible. It is excessive, and doesn't even look real in the first place.

But the bright spot of the demo was the commentary. Gary Thorne does a great job as play by play. If the game would just run smoothly, it would be a good game.

If I were to ever to succumb to the temptation of buying a PS3, I would probably get a used one from Gamestop and buy the longest coverage I could for it. I would only use the PS3 for Blu Ray, The Show and Gran Turismo 5.

Not if you buy it from Circuit City. They cost like $320 now.

By the time my check gets here I highly doubt the Circuit City here will even be around, but maybe they will be and I can get one for even cheaper. I only want a PS3 for three games too. What a failure at life. :pinch:
