Use this thread for minor Notes on the 2009 NFL Draft. If it's something you put a lot of effort into, then it should be a thread. This is just for minor notes that don't need a seperate thread.

Here is my mock draft for the Bears in the first 2 Rounds.

Draft:
1(1): Michael Johnson (DE):
Strengths: Big body. He's 6-7 with a frame large evenough for more bulk. Long arms. Can swat the ball down at the line. Good ball vision. Great speed.
Weaknesses: Only tries to do an outside speed rush on the QB. Over-pursues to the point where misdirection make him fall behind. Needs more muscle and bulk for run strength. Bull rush is not used often. Finess moves need to be refined.
Improvements: Marinelli is the key factor here. Johnson needs his overall techniques to be revised. He need sot definitely hit the wait room and bulk up. Overall, Johnson can be a starter depending on his progress. It could go from either Day 1 Starter, or occasional starter. Time will tell.

2(2): Darrius Heyward-Bey (WR):
Strengths: Great speed. Track star. Tall, 6-3. Shows flashes of greatness in games, whereas the rest of his team does not.
Weaknesses: New to the position of WR. Route running needs to be refined. His legs get him seperation. but how well can he catch?
Improvements: Needs to work tenaciously on his catching, route running, and general WR technique in Training Camp.

Aaron Curry really impressed me and i'm definitely coming around on hi, but it looks like now he'll go at 3 to the Chiefs

is there any chance Maualuga falls to us in round 2 cuz of his bad workout/injury?

I want the Vikings to draft a Tackle. Any offensive weapon (WR) will just go to waste under Childress.

Maualuga still has a great work ethic, even if he did have a bad workout.

Brian Cushing ran 4.69, an improvement on the 4.75 he ran at the combine.
