i will never forget when unlv was the shit.im not sure they will ever have a good team like that when lj and augmon were around.who knows maybe one day they will get some kids that will make it that interesting again soon.

There's no better chance than with Lon Kruger as head coach. Remember just 2 years ago with the team led by his son who had eligibility left from the ASU days, they went to the Elite 8.

UNLV sure is relevant, but I too wouldn't mind the Runnin Rebels being a consistent threat for the National Title again.

that was just awesome to see and i also agree i wouldn't mind seeing them contend for it all again either.

The standings in the MW this year are very surprising.

AFA is usually in the top half of the league, they are winless.

TCU is in 1st.

SDSU is in 2nd.

UNLV, NM, BYU all have 2 losses.

It will be interesting who gets in from here.

One week later the standings are shuffled completely. 7 teams seperated by 2 games for 1st. Great race, but will probably cost the Mountain West multiple bids.
