The feeling is a bit hopeless here in Denver with Holliday gone, but we will still enjoy listening to "Centerfield" at Coors. Go ROCKIES! |

So glad you guys will have nothing to do with competing in the N.L. west this year. Still sour over 2007 and LMFAO at Francis. |

The debate will be on forever whether the greatest sports underdog story was 2006 George Mason or 2007 Colorado Rockies. Damn, those were the two best sports years. |

I think the real debate with the 2007 Rockies should be what team was the biggest fluke to make it to a world series. |

Who says we won't be competing this year? Our Defense and Offense will be a strength in this Division, and I think the addition of Street really helps out the Bullpen. If our rotation performs like 2007, I think we'll be in the hunt. |

The Rockies lost 8 to 9 in the season opener at the dump today, but there were a lot of positive things to come out of this. We absolutely (on the road I might add) hacked the D bags pitching to come back in the game. Tulowitzki, Ianetta, Hawpe were all impressive at the plate. I'll question this lineup as I don't have a clue as to why Tulowitzki-Ianetta is our 7-8. Ianetta should be 7, and Tulowitzki 2 IMO. The negative and real concern was pitching. We allowed not one, but two guys to hit Home Runs both left handed and right handed. That is so embarassing. Cook is capable of turning it around, but Glendon Rusch is not an MLB Pitcher. I am sick he is still on this team, and that cost us one game already. |

Nice 3-0 win today! Rockies beat Dan Haren, and Ubaldo Jimenez outdueled him. Huston Street closed it off for the save. Way to go Rox! |

Wow. The Rockies are playing like 2007 again. Starting 20-32 and with less than a 0.5% chance at the Playoffs, the Rockies have won 7 in a row. Not only 7 in a row, but ALL SEVEN have been on the road at NL Central teams. The Rockies have turned a complete 180, and are making things very interesting in the National League. The young hitting talent is there like 2007. |
