You know, McNabb came out and said he would not ink a long term contract unless Philly got him some weapons to work with. So far, they have done nothing. They let Dawkins and Thomas walk. They talked with TJ and Harrison but nothing happend. Yesterday, they traded Greg Lewis to the Patriots for a draft pick.

Now, the Eagles have another 5th round pick. They have 2 first round picks to go with the FOUR 5th round picks. They are bringing in Sean Jones for a visit today and I imagine they may talk to Roy Williams about that Safety position. Im kinda curious as to where you think this team is headed? I wonder if they use all there draft picks and go younger and likely be ready to lose McNabb..Or do they trade one of the 1st rounders and maybe a 5th rounder to try and pick up a Chad Johnson or another good WR?

I wouldnt call Philly a non-contender. One game away from the Superbowl is hardly and non-contender. They did lose Dawkins who was a big lockerroom leader but Dawkins did miss some time last year and the defense I think finished 4th in the NFL. I wouldnt just right them off yet. Besides, CJ would atleast make the playoffs in Philly. The Bengals may not make the playoffs til the next century.

with the way Chad is i just don't see him wanting a deal to the eagles thats all.i believe he would want to win right away and it's been proven so far the eagles choke in the nfc championship game and or SB for that matter and a guy like Chad wouldn't stand for that.who's to say really Chad is the one starting all the trade demands i honestly believe it's Drew Rosenhaus or however you spell his last name that guy is a Dick and it's been proven.and yeah i know the Bengals haven't been true contenders is quite some time im just waiting on Mike Brown to kick the bucket because sad but true that's what it will take to get anything winning wise in Cincinnati.

Atleast you guys have an excuse. The EAgles cant get anything going. I am starting to think they should just get McNabb outta town and start all over using there draft picks

It's a sad story because if the Eagles would just give McNabb an above average Receiving corps, they likely would have won one Super Bowl already.

I don't believe the Eagles will acquire anyone big, because well I have to see it to believe it.

And when they don't, it will be the same story. McNabb will say in the Philadelphia. Nothing he's saying is anymore than a threat because he thinks it's worth it to win a Super Bowl. He is not going to become a big enough cancer to force the Eagles to trade him.

I think he has 1 or 2 more years left on his contract. If its 1, its likely 1 and done for him

Did I wake you, motha fucka!?

What they SHOULD do, trade out of one of their first round picks and try and get Boldin, and pick up a Safety with the extra pick.

What they probably will do, draft an OL and Safety or DL.

Two players on the market are Holt and Harrison, but will they sign someone who is on the downslope of their career?
