I'll be shopping for a 46'' LCD tv this week.. These 2 caught my eye SONY BRAVIA (Model # KDL-4624100) $1167.54 @ Walmart http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-t...-32913613.html & Samsung (Model # LN46A550) $1,299.99 @ Best Buy http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-t...-32815315.html Which 1 of these would you pick for the price? I'm leaning towards the samsung.. Is there anthing else in this price range I should be considering? Thank you |

I just bought the 40" model of that Samsung TV. So far I love it. Everything from Blu-ray, to games, to HDTV look great on it. That's all I can give you because I've haven't spent enough time with a Bravia to make an opinion on it. |

I'd go with the Samsung. Nice TV's, 99% problem free as well. Haven't heard the same about the Sony's, but that's just what I've heard. I'd go online and just read the reviews. I'd also suggest paying the $150 or whatever for the three year warranty if you get it at Best Buy. Even if you dropped the TV and broke it while moving it, they'd give you a new one. Myself I have a 42" LG, very happy with it, but had it narrowed down to LG or Samsung. |

HDTV rankings. (from experience) 1. Samsung 2. LG 3. Philips 4. Sony 5. Sharp 6. Mitsubishi (unless you're talking +60" then they're tops) 7. Toshiba |

Samsungs has the best picture by far, but that motion thing really annoys me. LG is a great as well. I have a Vizio in my room that is suprising very clear, and downstairs we have a Panasonic that is great as well. Obviously when not compared right next to another one, they all look great, but that's just my experience. |

I have a 40" Samsung LCD TV in my room. I love it, it's so clear. Samsung is the best brand of TV's. They are also cheaper, or at least it seems than Sony. Definitely buy the warranty. I bought a 4 year warranty at Best Buy last week. It cost $169.99, but it covers everything. They will come to your house and fix it, if they can't, they'll replace it. If you have the money and are impatient, you can buy the $250 warranty and if it breaks, they will give you a loner tv while they fix yours. |
