Talk about the epicenter of American Hockey.... all 5 teams could get into the Playoffs! Is it the best Division ever? |

I'm still counting the Blues as the odd man out, even though they sit in 8th place. On the other hand, if they manage to do it, there isn't anyone in the world who could suggest they sure as hell didn't earn it. I also think the Ducks will get the 8th seed, and upset the Sharks. |

I hope Ducks win the back-to-back against the Sharks, that will give them a good chance to make the POs. 1. San Jose 2. Detroit 3. Calgary 4. Vancouver 5. Chicago 6. Columbus 7. Nashville 8. Edmonton First Round Edmonton > San Jose Detroit > Nashville Columbus > Calgary Vancouver > Chicago Conference Semi-Finals Detroit > Edmonton Vancouver > Columbus Conference Final Detroit > Vancouver Cup Final Detroit > New Jersey Watch it be completely wrong. |

No doubt the Midwest has the best hockey in America and the Central is the toughest division in the NHL. But all the Central teams play each other the last 2 weeks of the season, making it kind of hard. Though, Edmonton lost to Anaheim, and Anaheim plays San Jose twice. |

Nice win by the Blackhawks over the Blues tonight. Much needed after last night's debacle in Montreal. |

They are going to need Anaheim get swept by San Jose, and lose somewhere else. Then St Louis & Nashville will have to beat out the other 3 Central teams. Tonight's result & Last night's was not what they were looking for. |

Well, tonight was a moment I will remember for a lifetime. Blues with a very dramatic 5 to 4 win over the Red Wings to stay in the picture. Backes with 4 goals. Let's go Blues! |

Sorry, I've not posted in here at all. But I agree this is the best divisonal playoff race the NHL has ever seen. I think it would make one of the most unique postseasons if all 5 Central teams were to be in the Playoffs. Midwest Hockey is so many eternities ahead of the rest of the country it's not even funny(although that has very little to do with the NHL). |

I love how two seasons ago the Central was the bottom of the NHL. This is definitely a great division. Every team in it scares me honestly. |
