Anyone here a fan of those? I mean someone who can sit and watch these old movies again for like the 20th time? I didn't see any threads on the old stuff, just the newer movies, sooo....I started this up.

(I put an asterisk by the ones I call soon to be Classics)

Ones I call Classics, such as;

WAR; The Enemy Below, Midway, The Dirty Dozen, Kelleys Heroes, The Great Escape, The Longest Day, Bridge Too Far, Caine Mutiny, Here to Eternity, In Harms Way, Run Silent, Run Deep, Torpedo Run,

WESTERNS; Chisum, Big Jake, Good, Bad, and the Ugly, *Pale Rider, *Silverado, *Unforgiven, El Dorado, Rio Lobo, High Plains Drifter, Outlaw Josey Wales, Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Once Upon a Time in the West, Magnificent Seven, Shane, Nevada Smith

Good stuff......I swear I know the damn things by heart. And I know I left a ton of them out....

Keep cool my babies

I've only seen one western movie, I had to watch it for a college class last semester. But the name has slipped my mind. John Wayne was the lead actor, and was a sheriff of some small town. Some outlaw gets out of prison and wants to kill Wayne for putting him there, so he has a showdown with the outlaw and his posse. Maybe you have seen it, or know the title?
