Erik Bedard still has his stuff of 2006-2007. The command of his fastball and curve has been right on tonight. If he puts it together this year (making 08 a fluke) and pitches 200 Innings, I wonder if Seattle can stick around in the West until August or so. |

His start was short, but while he was in he looked good and like the 06-07 form. If a few of those Mariners players could overachieve (i.e. Bedard, Griffey Jr, Lopez, Betancourt, Batista), Seattle could very well have a 2007-like season. |

Well Bedard's night is done. 85 pitches. His curve ball started to lose its bite in the 5th. 5 ip 6 H 3 ER 0 BB and 8 ks Looked very good. There was an awful 2-2 call that should have ended the inning. Next pitch is a single to bring in 2 runs. |
