That's exactly what I was thinking. I don't know about you but I think a college coach needs some sense of morals to be successful for a long period of time (a dirty coach will ALWAYS get caught, it's just a matter of when). And Thomas' track record says he walks a line of moral grey. |

I think this is a hiring worth it for Florida International. It brings more attention to them. We wouldn't be talking about them as much if they had not hired Thomas. It is also a big name that could reel in better recruits and make their basketball program seem more attractive. I would guess the Players are thrilled to have someone like Isiah Thomas coach their team. Maybe, he'll be a better coach in the Sun Belt than he was in the NBA. |

Yeah, so that is a good reason this was good hire. It introduced more people (such as yourself) to their program. |
