BGM

Luna 2, one of the many man made asteroids in the purpose of supplying resources to and taking from the space colonies nearby. Created mainly during the age when humans are still launching colonies up into space. This asteroid base, not even 100km wide, holds a huge strategic position for the Federation right now. As the small area, one side, the only side, Side 7 behind this stronghold is the last foothold the Federation holds in space. Seeing from a far, there were multiple flashes approaching. Due to its small size and a large amount of Federation forces stationed around, it has become one of the few points that CRADLE could not easily try to invade it. From a far, they might seem like shooting stars, however approaching, we can see a huge fleet of the Federation, surrounding one ship that stands out between the others. Most ships were the Federation's light cruiser, that form the backbone of the fleet, the gray long Salamis class. In the center, there was the white ship, Argama.

Hayate and Sayla looked out the window, even if they were spacenoids, that have never been to Earth. Neither have they ever seen something so different from their daily lives. "This is amazing, even though this is old, but its still quite amazing. How did the Federation actually lose with this many forces...?" Sayla was trying to praise the Federation a bit, but she could not help to ask. In numbers, the Federation would of defeated CRADLE long ago. However reality was cruel, not only did the Federation not win, they are losing badly. Hayate looked around, making sure there was not anyone that might get offended by their conversation. However the only two that were actually Federation soldiers on the bridge, was Noa and Taures.

"Well, to put it straight, the Federation dismissed the ideas of creating and centering their forces around MS. There were plans and ideas for this, but the project was frozen quick due to people believing Side 3 will never have the guts to go against the Federation. And therefore the Federation ruled the Colonies with an iron fist. But really, now that Side 3 formed CRADLE, and the queen developed the theory of Colonyism, the Federation is really being kicked hard..." Taures explained the situation, even so the two still found it difficult to believe that the Federation is losing so badly.

Even if Noa knows what problems the Federation has, he was not in a position to say anything against those that sits on the top. Therefore he did not say anything, though it would be better if no one talked about a sensitive topic like this, especially when they are civilians that managed to know about the Federation's top secret. Just before Noa wanted to open his mouth, Allen appeared. The automatic door slid open as he floated towards the window. Looking out at the asteroid base, he bit his lips a bit. "The Federation, we can go home after we arrive here right?" He turned around and looked at Noa, showing a large detest for any further combat. However Noa understands, but he also understands that since they knew about this secret, the Federation will not let them go so easily.

Slowly the hatches opened, revealing a ship dock, the harbor of the base. There were countless beam cannons mounted all over the the rocky surface. Catapults extended outside from all angles for the Federation to launch their much weaker MAs. The other ships cleared the course, the Argama was the one and only ship that was allowed to dock at this moment. The other Salamis classed ships were on patrol duty, to prevent any CRADLE units from approaching, because they knew how bad it will be if the Argama or the Gundam falls into the wrong hands.

Xanavi and Lilium looked out of the window of the Radish. Both of them immediately took notice of the large Federation force stationed around such a small area, by comparison to Side 7. In an instant, it was realized that attempting to fight with such a large force would not just be unwise, but unthinkably stupid. "...When that guy said "They have a fleet coming this way"...I wasn't expecting this many battleships to be around...." Lilium openly stated. There was nobody nearby their room, let alone anyone in the Federation to overhear them.

"That's the Federation for you. They have a lot of teeth, but they're all made out of jelly. Well, that was until that Gundam came along and added some strength to their fleet, anyways..." Xanavi had been aware of the "quantity over quality" methods that the Federation used.

Over on the bridge, everyone was watching anxiously for what might happen if an unidentified battleship came into view. Although it was on its own and not affiliated with the CRADLE, Thermidor would not take the risk of the Federation shooting and asking questions later. "Turn all gun turrets and weapons away from the Federation. I want no fighting against the Federation in this time and place, not when we have a clear disadvantage." Thermidor firmly spoke out. Although there was no captain on the Radish, he was taking control as the military leader of ORCA until a captain could be found. Nikita opened up a closed channel on the radio to contact the Federation personally.

After entering the docks, the Argama slowly docked down, its engines eventually died down as the large machine came to a complete halt. Rie wiped a drop of sweat off her forehead, even if she was trained in steering a battleship, it was her first time being in control of such a huge ship. Trying her hardest without crashing and destroying the facilities inside, she somewhat managed to land the Argama. However even after the Argama landed, no one was allowed to get off. The civilians that escaped from Side 7 was still on board, even Allen, Hayate and Sayla were not properly trained, but only students with special talents. There was one middle aged man, accompanied by two guards holding a rifle machine gun each, walking into the bridge.

Luna 2 had an artificial gravity field around it, much like the colonies. Therefore people can walk on ground, and needless to float in the air. Noa turned around and saluted, Tarues followed. Allen and his friends did not really understand what was going on, but they followed as well. The middle aged man saluted as well and looked around on the bridge. With only five (four actually, since Allen was a part time pilot, but the Federation commander did not know) crew members on the bridge, and three out of them were not properly dressed, he was surprised how this ship made it here in one piece, even after combat with the Red Comet. "Well done, lieutenant Noa Hall, I am Lt. Colonel Gene Wakkein, the commander of this base. Although it is quick, we will want to let you to head down to Jaburo. Immediately, of course. Rest assure, we will give you the supplies you will need for the next two weeks of journey. Good luck" the middle aged man simply dismissed. His face was somewhat long with short brown hair under the army hat. He seems very uninterested into taking any notice of anything on the ship.

Noa cannot accept this sort of treatment, they barely escaped from Side 7 and Full Frontal's attack, and finally made it to an ally's base. And now they are treated like a bunch of refugees that are about to be kicked out of a country. "Lt. Colonel, I do not understand what we are suppose to do. We are under heavy pursuit of CRADLE's forces, and the Red Comet has laid his eyes on us. As you can see, there are very little crew on this ship and most of the other people are civilians. Why cannot we at least let the civilians off first?" Noa tried to stand up against the superior ranking officer. He knows what he says is correct, and he at least will not be shot for questioning this point. Wakkein shook his head and sighed however.

"Unfortunately we cannot do so. Luna 2 is very small, we do not have any more space to let anymore people in. I know it might be difficult for you people, but this ship is very important. By all means, please make it to Jaburo. The Federation's fate is in your hands! Good luck!" he once again dimissed Noa's question. The young officer knew that there is still plenty of space, food and water for the amount of civilians to survive for another week at least. However if he questions any further, it would be troublesome for him. He had no choice but to agree to such nonsense. Saluting and bowing, it was the end between their conversation. After the Federation officers all left the ship, Mu came running into the bridge in a hurry.

"Hey, whats up with this place? Why arent they letting the civilians off? The civilians are about to cause a riot like this!" He complained, however just when he finished talking, civilians barged into the bridge in anger. They begin to question Noa, why are they not let off board. How much longer will they have to stay in a place like this. How dangerous is this ship. Noa cannot answer any one of their questions without making the people angrier. Therefore he did not speak. Mu came up and grabbed the captain by the collar. "But actually when I think about it, these bastards in Luna 2 never intended to let us in! They just came to look at the situation, if we do manage to shake Full Frontal off then good. If we did not, their ships will just fire to force CRADLE to retreat and retrieve our corpses for further research! Its really because we saw the ugly secret of the Federation and under that Wakkein guy's authority, he doesnt have the rights to execute us right here. Therefore he wants us to go far away, this also will attract the eyes of CRADLE and not have them attack this base, isnt that true?!" he shouted in Noa's face. Noa's small eyes shut tight and suddenly be bursted out in anger as well.

"Well then what the hell can we do even if we know all this?!" his howl echoed through the hallways, there were no more Federation officers on board. But this immediately made all the civilians that were just complaining silent. "What authority do we have...to point that out?" he added again, this time it was in his normal voice. The civilians know it was useless to ask Noa for help, as they slowly left the bridge. Mu looked away and walked out too. The bridge was silent again, so silent that not even Allen, Hayate and Sayla remained silent as well. Then Noa opened his mouth, nothing came out, but just a few whispers. "Rie, start the engine...Taures, set course for Earth. We're heading towards Jaburo..."

The Radish slowly came closer and closer towards Luna 2. Although it wasn't being promptly shot down, some of the personnel watching it were getting slightly anxious at seeing another battleship entering, especially one that had turned up unannounced. Regardless, without any information on what the ship was doing and no hostile actions coming towards it, it would be impossible to shoot it down without potentially harming the image of the Federation for gung-ho actions. The Radish slowed right down only a short distance away from the Salamis class cruisers, and then the same message sent out to the Argama was repeated to the other battleships.

"This is Nikita Nidus of the ORCA Organization. We're requesting a moment with any and all Federation officers to discuss a private matter with you. Repeat, we're only here for discussions, not a fight." Nikita spoke out on the radio. Again, it was almost unnatural to simply contact the Federation like some form of a neighbor, but with no reason for them to be attacked, what choice did they have but to comply?

"Krieger, Wolcott. I want the pair of you on standby to go back out there with Cara and talk with anyone you can find who might be able to give us insight on Project Nova. Anyone we've seen before, you can ignore...So ignore that white Argama that's just docked in. After this, we're going back to Earth to meet up with our own people. We've got people that need dropping off for R&D in Switzerland." Thermidor explained over the private communications to Xanavi and Lilium while they were still in their room.

The hatches slowly opened, revealing a vast open path towards Earth. In the end the Argama was only allowed a limited amount of supply and then "thrown out" of Luna 2. There were no more ways to negotiate with the Federation, nor will there be anymore rights for anyone to speak against the commander at Luna 2. The Argama can only silently leave the asteroid base. With the engines fully lit, the white battleship slowly pushed and glided out of the Federation stronghold. However even after the Argama leaves, the Federation fleet on patrol did not return. They have to make sure that the Argama go far and away, so that CRADLE will not attack this base.

Mu and Allen could only watch the chance they had to get off and resupplied, disappearing in the distance. "Well you see that kid? I really wonder if the rumors that are saying the higher ranking officers are getting more corrupt day by day are true now..." Mu sarcastically phrased and walked away. Allen did not understand the Federation's inner aspects well, but even a amateur like him was good enough to understand, they were not welcomed. Looking out the window, it was one of the few windows available in the MS hanger. It continued to show a broad horizon of black, but Allen noticed one thing that was different. Although well camouflaged in the black, there was a dark green dot that was slowly tailing the Argama. Since he was an amateur, he thought it was only a mistake so he did not make a big fuss about it. Though he mostly will regret it later. Floating to the other side, he began to see the blue mother planet, Earth. People on Earth might not notice, how beautiful this planet can be by looking high up from space. On the other hand, people in space might not notice as well, how badly polluted this planet may be. For as long as Allen can remember, he has been living in a space colony. However he was born on earth, despite that it was his first time seeing this blue planet.

From a far, it looked like a gleaming blue gemstone shining silently upon the skies. Hayate and Sayla, for both of them, it was their first time seeing this by their own eyes as well. The two glued their eyes fascinating upon the blue blue sapphire in the black black darkness. The stars started to disappear as they get closer to the atmosphere. Noa cleared his throat, making sure the "temporary" crew members do not get too carried away, because this is not a tour. "Eh hem, Taures, set the course for atmospheric reentry, Rie, have you read the manuel? Can you do it?" he asked, the two new comers heard this and quickly sat back down. Rie gave a positive reply, Noa nodded, hoping, he was really hoping no more trouble occur and they land safely in Jaburo. The Argama was still not on course yet, but they can already see the detail structures of the jungle below them.

There was a moment of silence on the radio, followed by a even more brief moment of static. Then the reception cleared again. "Hey, is anyone from ORCA still on board that battleship?" A young man's voice rung out through the bridge. Nikita pondered for a moment just who it might be, it didn't sound like somebody you would expect from the Federation.

"Who is this...?" Nikita grumbled to himself off the radio, covering the speakers to keep his voice away. Up on the captains chair, Thermidor let out a slight grin at who was talking to them. "That, would be our man. Ensign Rayleonard, pick up what gear you have and come aboard this vessel! Whatever information you have we'll take back to Earth with us!" Thermidor impatiently ordered.

Rayleonard picked up a few bags carrying his notes and equipment that all Federation soldiers carried when going out on duty. Unlike the others though, these bags were much large, as if holding expensive equipment and research inside them. As he was walking past the corridors, he noticed several patrolling pairs of soldiers walking around with machineguns. Although they were his enemy, he calmly saluted past them and let them go. Nearing a small hangar for private shuttles to go in and out, Rayleonard noticed a young, blonde haired woman in a different uniform from the others, carrying around a large notebook. "Miss Meyers, It's time we set off again. Our transports outside."

"Ensign Berlioz? Where are you going? I...I thought you were still wanting information on Project Nova?" The young woman asked Berlioz as he boarded a shuttle. He wasted no time in setting the shuttle up for take off, forcing the young woman to quickly jump aboard before she was left behind. "We can discuss that in a few moments. Right now though, it's better to keep quiet about that while there's still some Feddies around, you know how they won't like a newbie knowing the stuff some of the top brass know." Berlioz answered back without even looking back at her. He moved his white hair out of the way of his eyes just before the shuttle's boosters were activated and set off back for the Radish. The Federation soldiers keeping watch on the hangar had no idea what the two of them were talking about or why they suddenly left, but it wasn't their place to wonder such things.

Noa, beginning to feel the pull of gravity, he nodded. This was his first time every in command of anything, being a low ranked officer not much higher than a mere ensign, he looked down onto the blue planet. By his sense, he begin to order. "Alright, ballute system---" before he can finish his words, the thing he feared the most came true. Taures quickly turned around and eyed the captain in fear.

"Captain...we have caught a hostile signal. This is, most likely the same Musai class earlier on. We have been tailed!" Tarues quickly reported back, but Noa already knew it was the Musai commanded by the Red Comet the moment Taures showed him a face like that. A cold sweat broke form his forehead, as he thought. Full Frontal was waiting for this moment all along. A ship is most vulnerable to enemy attack during atmospheric reentry, and this was exactly the timing Full Frontal placed. There was no choice, they cannot begin reentry just yet, because the Musai was already shooting at them. The first wave of beam cannons missed narrowly, Noa saw a blast of yellow light fly past the ship's bridge from behind.

"Rie, pull our altitude up. Taures, ring the alarm and prepare fire! Hayate, I want you to go help with the turrents, Sayla cover up for Hayate!!" Noa gave a series of command, although unexperienced, he sounded like a captain that has been in command of this ship for nearly a decade. He then grabbed the radio and shouted. "Maintenance member, send half people to help with turrents, we dont have enough people!" changing the channel again, this time broadcasting throughout the entire ship. "All crew members first battle phase! Non combatants stay still, pilots prepare to launch!"

Noa only stated pilots, he did not specify who should be deployed and who should not. However Allen knows he do not have to fight anymore, he cannot fight anymore. Now that there is a pilot on board more experienced and skilled than him, he does not need to get into the Gundam and go fight anymore. However Mu slapped his shoulders while he floated past him. "What are you doing kid, lets go! I cant handle them alone with my damn old MA! Even if its fixed..." he winked and grabbed held of the handle on the conveyer belt. The direction was the pilot lockers, very close to the MS hangers. Allen did not understand why he has to go, and why is Mu not getting into the Gundam.

"But, you are more skilled than me, the Gundam should be reserved for Lieutenant Flaga isnt it?" he replied, Mu did not turn around for a while and disappeared around the corner. Allen grabbed the next handle and carried him across the long hallway as well. While he floated, the alarm was loud. He was not even use to this sort of sound yet, the only kind of alarm he heard was the fire drill alarm in school. And that was just a few days ago. Looking back, it feels like he has been on the battlefield for years, but in fact, not even 24 hours has passed since CRADLE attacked his colony. Coming to an end of the hallway, there were two doors. Turning around the corner, the automatic door on the right slid open and Mu was already changed in his purple black pilot suit.

"Compared to me that never even touched the controls, you surviving twice in that thing will most likely do better. Counting on you kid!" Mu smiled and grabbed his helmet, hooking it onto the back of his collar, he slipped it around his head and closed the screen. The other door opened, revealing the large space of the garage MS hanger. Allen decided, since he is on this ship, he has the duty to protect everyone. Since he has the power to do so, then there is no more hesitation. Not sure what to wear, he just opened a random unlocked locker. There was a white pilot suit and a helmet, unlike the others and unlike the one Mu had, this white normal suit looks quite nice in some aspects. At least "unique". Most likely it was the normal suit for the pilot of the Gundam. By instinct he fitted himself into the pilot suit, pressing the small button on the wrist band, the suit pressed against his skin. Grabbing the helmet, he dashed towards the hanger as well. He did not care what the others would say to him, but he went straight towards the Gundam. Mu saw that and smirked as well, knowing that there will be someone more reliable than him now.

The two pilots, the only two pilots both boarded their respective units, as the hatches slowly open. In front of Allen's eyes was Earth, the shining blue planet in front...

Berlioz's shuttle landed inside the hangar of the Radish while the battle outside was going on. People inside the hangar were preparing a type of transport for the Musha Gundam and Jinx to be loaded into. It was a large, green craft outfitted with rocket boosters on the bottom, implying it would be used to be launched back up into space. Berlioz stepped out of his shuttle with the young woman nervously poking her head out behind the door to see what was going on.

"General Thermidor....What's going on...?" Berlioz asked Thermidor in a confused tone. Thermidor didn't turn to look at him, instead looking up at the Musha Gundam being loaded up into the transport with Lilium and Xanavi inside. "Hmph...Those monkeys who designed this battleship for us took a cheap "cost cutting" measure when reverse engineering the Federation's Argama battleship. Although the original is theoretically capable of atmospheric re-entry and launching back into orbit, the so called "boffins" we used simply fitted it with these crappy heavy Lift Vehicles that are stood before us! Meaning we have no way of bringing this battleship back down to Earth!" Thermidor angrily shouted at Berlioz. His frustrations were not directed at the young man, but at the imbeciles who built the ship.

"Hmm...I see...Rain! Come on out, we're having to switch transports again!" Berlioz shouted out to the woman in the shuttle. "I should probably introduce you to her first....General, this is Rain Meyers, she's one of the scientists that's currently working on Project Nova." Berlioz stated and moved out of Rain's way. Thermidor offered a handshake like he did for Xanavi, and was met with another hand in response.

"Miss Meyers, I'm not sure if you're aware, but we at ORCA are currently trying to confiscate the Federation's Project Nova weapon before they have a chance to use it for themselves. We know of the potential consequences of using such a weapon that we believe the Federation hasn't considered or is willfully ignoring. I ask of you...Are you prepared to work against those who may very well be your friends, the same people who day in-day out you've had to work with and risk your life in order to bring a new age of peace into this world?" Thermidor asked a question that sounded totally out of character for him. Indeed, he was trying his best to hide the expression in his face that would give away his true intentions. Rain didn't take a moment's hesitation to consider the question. She instantly saluted Thermidor with a strong expression.

"Then we're at a stage where we can finally make some proper steps in our campaign. The HLV will be setting off for Earth in 30 minutes. The pair of you get all your belongings and be ready for descent by then!" Thermidor ordered and went to speak with some of his own crew without saluting her.

"...Some things you never really notice until you look in from the outside, do you Lilium...?" Xanavi muttered to himself as he looked out of the Musha Gundam's camera down onto Rain and Berlioz, noticing the latters similar hair colour, build and clothing. It was almost a splitting image of Xanavi, if only a bit younger. Just before Lilium could notice what Xanavi was talking about, the iron door shut infront of the Gundam...

The MS battle was approaching. From the Musai, four units launched from a far. It was a silver custom Zaku II that took the lead, Raul Ru Crueze's silver unit. Following him, three other Zakus launched consequtively as well. Noa finally understood why it took a while for Full Frontal to catch up. It was not only because they were waiting for the Argama to descend, but also waiting for resupplying. Resupplying the Musai from the Papua transport ship earlier on, was not just in materials and weapons, but actual MS itself. Judging from before, the Musai has a MS hanger that can hold roughly up to 5 units. After the battle of Side 7 and Luna 2, there were no longer anymore MS other than Raul and Full Frontal's unit remaining on board. The Papua class is although not used for for MS transport, but due to its large hanger to store supplies, it can fit up to 3 units as well. With this, the Musai is back at full capacity, 5 units. Noa once again was shocked at how Full Frontal can plan two timings so precisely, but this is not the time to think about that. "Turrents prepare! Missile prepare as well, mega particle cannon deploy! Dont let any unit close in! All bridge crew members change into normal suits!" Noa commanded.

The first one that launched was Mu's Moebius Zero, fully armed again and completely fixed. However he was not sure how much further he can go with this. He immediately caught sight of the silver Zaku that took the lead. "That guy!! I'm going to shoot you down this time!" he felt a connection between himself and the silver Zaku. Mu did not know why he was attracted to the pilot of that custom unit, but an unknown force, even he or anyone has yet to realize, is pulling those two together.

Allen turned the system on. The dark cockpit was lit brightly by the computers, the camera turned on as the Gundam's "eyes" lit bright yellow. Taking a step forward, Allen gave the accelerate paddle a tender step, the Gundam inched forward, as Allen pushed the handle forward, the Gundam reach over to the racks that hanged the weapons of the Gundam. Instead of reaching for the powerful beam weaponry, that stunned one of the most skilled pilots in CRADLE, Allen reached for a dull looking bazooka. He had his reasons, knowing if his weapon is too powerful, he will by instinct rely too much on it. Therefore by grabbing the bazooka, which has even less ammo, he will be more cautious in battle. "Allen, launching!!" he pointed thumbs up, feeling the powerful push from the catapult his sight was blurred for a while, and then clearly seeing he was flying high up, standing above the world. Though it was no time fascinating, the enemies are approaching.

At this time, Full Frontal got off his captains seat as well. "Prepare the launch of the Komusai, just in case anything happens. I will go as well!" he commanded and headed towards the hangers. Like before, he had no intentions of changing into a normal suit. Ignoring the lockers, he went straight into the hangers. With only one MS left there, it was his custom red commander use Zaku II.

Taures caught the signal of another MS that launched from the Musai. He knows who this is this time. After seeing the battle at Side 7, a pilot capable of such movement is no one but him. "Captain, another MS have launched! This 3x speed...!! Its Full Frontal!!" he reported, Noa bit his lips a bit...

Several large cranes began to slowly push the HLV out towards the hangar doors for deployment. Unlike other battleships, the Radish had a slightly larger than normal hangar allowing for up to 1 more MS or machinery to move pieces around. Since it only had 2 MS at this time and nothing else, all other equipment was dedicated to the maintenance of these two units. Thermidor was the last one to climb on board the HLV, unlike the others, he wasn't wearing a P.E.S, something of which could be seen as suicidal to anyone else.

"According to what that woman knows so far, we should actually be ale to pick up information on Project Nova in the Federation's Jaburo headquarters. I assume unlike Luna 2 they won't just allow anyone in there, so it might be a smart idea for us to rush in the Musha Gundam before they get to Jaburo, otherwise we'll have no way in that doesn't include a full battle going on around us..." Takafumi explained to Thermidor as he sat down. A sinister smile came over his face, knowing fully the complications of sending in another Gundam in place of the original model could cause.

"Very well. We shall go back to Switzerland and take back what little data we already have and develop our technologies further." Richtofen took out a few document relating the the Project V and its specifications. They were not the original copies, because otherwise Allen would never find himself in the situation he's in. They were copied, likely from what Berlioz could have stolen. The young man understood most of what was detailed in the documents. His title in the Federation was just for show, his strengths were never piloting an MS, but designing new ones.

"Rain, I want you to go along with whoever is piloting our Musha Gundam. It's unlikely the pilot has ever been to Jaburo so we need someone to take him through it so we know where to go." Berlioz politely explained his reasoning to her. She silently nodded her head as the hangar doors opened up, revealing the vast black void beneath them. The HLV was coming closer to being pushed off the ship...
