BGM

Approaching closer, Mu knows what CRADLE was after. Obviously the Zaku will not care about a small MA like the one hes using. However, his job is to disturb those that might approach the Argama. "Like I'd let you do it!!" he shouted, the gun barrels attached on the orange MA detached themselves, connected by black wires, the remote weapons launched into space. Raul immediately altered to this attack, he knows he can avoid it, however not sure about the others. Even for CRADLE, a MS is valuable, and should not be wasted on some small MA like this that can do nothing but annoy.

"Hmph, interesting. All units, ignore this MA and attack the battleship. I will handle this one!" he commanded, as Full Frontal's second in command, he exploited this power to the greatest, and controlled his troops with ease. The three other Zakus spread out in different directions and around Mu's Moebius. Mu clicked his tongue, but he will not go chase after them. Because turning his back against this enemy means death. The gun barrels surrounded Raul's Zaku and attempted to batter him with streams of shells. Tilting and avoiding, Raul managed to come out and around of the surrounding remote weapons without taking damage. However Mu will not make the same mistakes as last time. He pulled the steer up, and boosted upwards. To avoid the Zaku coming over with a melee weapon, he reeled in the gun barrels and made a U turn. The move was well timed, that after Mu finished turning, Raul did not have time to counter attack. Raul could only return fire with his 60 mm machine gun. Every steel bullet was fast and hard, even one hit might prove to be fatal to the brittle MA. However Mu was not hit, he quickly maneuvered out and away from the attack, returning fire with the linear cannon.

In the mean time, the Zakus that have got across the Moebius is within Allen's sight range. He gripped the controls hard, his heart was pounding hard as well. Even if he has already been on the battlefield a few times, he still cannot get rid of this fear. Even if he knew he is killing people, he cannot just stand there. "This is...this is battle! If I dont do it then I will be the one killed..." he calmed himself down and took aim at the three Zakus that were approaching. However before he can pull the trigger, another MS was approaching. Gliding through the black space and contrasting the blue earth, a red MS approached. Full Frontal's Zaku, Allen quickly grabbed the periscope behind the seat and narrowed his aim. This time, he swore, this time he will shoot down the red Zaku.

"Ha, changing weapons wont save you. Ignore the Federation's MS, leave it to me. You guys go attack the ship!" Full Frontal commanded, just like what Raul did. Allen pulled the trigger, a huge bazooka shell soared through space. Leaving a trail of smoke behind as well, Full Frontal easily avoided that attack. The powerful blowback pushed the Gundam back a bit, but Allen knew this would happen so he quickly adjusted his fighting pose again. From the back of the bazooka magazine, one empty shell was pushed out and it quickly automatically reloaded a new one, ready to be fired anytime.

"Hes too fast!! But even if I manage to get one bit of that MS...!!" Allen cheered himself up, not to be discouraged for missing too much. He fired another shot, and again it hit nothing and flew away. After being pushed back again, he quickly reacted to the incoming attack. Full Frontal lifted his Zaku machine gun and fired. The Gundam's bazooka had a range much further than a Zaku, therefore Full Frontal could not do much at the distance in the beginning. However now that both MS are in range for each other's attack, there were nothing more to be worrying about, or at least for Full Frontal's case. Allen knew how many shots this bazooka has, and he already used half of it. The third shot was avoided before Allen could react, the red Zaku rammed itself into the Gundam. Using the spikes on its shoulder, Full Frontal once again humiliated Allen by a simple melee move. "Ah...!! This guy!!" gritting his teeth, Allen was thrown back again and again from the impact.

The three Zakus have reached the Argama by now, Noa knows that once a MS manage to get to the bridge, everything is over. The Argama let out a thick layer of barrage, shells flying across spce in all angles managed to stop the Zakus from approaching any closer. However, only from that direction. Due to the Argama not having enough crew members, some turrents were not activated. "The barrage underneath is thin, what are you doing?!" Noa shouted.

The HLV tilted off the edge of the radish, and then fell off completely. To those inside, the entire world seemed to flip upside down as it adjusted itself for its descent towards Earth. "We've mapped the coordinates for the HLV to land. We're setting it to land in the Arizona Desert in America!" Berlioz had to shout out his words while the HLV was shaking. This was the first time anybody aboard the vessel had even tried atmospheric re-entry. Thermidor glared at Berlioz with a deathly glare, clearly angered that they were landing nowhere near the destination.

"You...Are you trying to sabotage this? America is completely off the mark from Jaburo!!" Thermidor angrily shouted at Berlioz. He didn't try to argue with his commanding officer, only carefully point out the dangers of going straight to Jaburo. "Well, landing in some desert is a damn sight better than landing ourselves and 2 MS in the middle of the ocean or into a hail of gun turrets. If we land in the desert, we won't run the risk of paying with our lives if something goes wrong!" Berlioz calmly answered back to Thermidor.

"Hey...We must be getting closer to Earth's atmosphere, the Gundam's shaking a lot more now....!" Xanavi noted to himself. The entire cockpit was completely dark, there was no light shining out from the Musha's computers. "Xanavi, the whole HLV is shaking, not just this Gundam...!" Lilium pointed out immediately after Xanavi said this. The HLV began to shake even more violently as it descended. A red shield of heat formed as the craft began to break through Earth's atmosphere...

Full Frontal knew that just by the Zaku's fire power, it will not break past the Gundam's armor. Allen knew that just by relying on the Gundam's performance, it will not defeat the red Zaku in front of him. Both of them knew their problems, but only Full Frontal can solve it immediately. Allen noticed that there was something long and wide hanging off the red Zaku's back hangers. Focusing his camera, he found out what that long barrel like equipment was. It was the bazooka, just like the one the Gundam is using. Full Frontal experienced that the Zaku's 120 mm machine gun will do no good against the Gundam, and this time brought something with even higher firepower. Unlike Allen, Full Frontal most likely will have superior aim and skill with that weapon as well.

The red Zaku dropped its light machine gun, reached behind and pulled out the long barrel bazooka. The scope lowered and covered over the mono eye system of the Zaku. Full Frontal let out a sneer under his mask and fired. "Interesting, you are my enemy then? Then by all means show me, the full performance of the Federation's Mobile Suit. By then I will decide, whether you are truly worthy of going against me!" the 280 mm wide bazooka shell soared past the stars.

The Gundam this time was also properly armed, the bazooka on the Zaku deemed too heavy for the unit to hold with one arm, therefore Full Frontal had to hold it with both, as this helps bracing for the blow back as well. However the Gundam was different, it held the long barrel in one arm, and carried a shield with another. Allen thought that even if he avoided this attack, the second shot will surely hit. He believed in the defensive capabilities of the Gundam's shield. Therefore he pulled the handle up, the computer displayed "SHIELDING" in its light blue screen with small white letters. The automatic learning computer built within the Gundam commanded the machine to automatically shield itself upon command. Of course, this option can be canceled and the pilot manually commence every action upon the pilot's controls, but this was still too early for a novice like Allen. The large bazooka shell smashed against the tough red shield, with the Federation's yellow cross in the bottom. There was a gap on the top of the shield for the MS to observe its surroundings through the cameras mounted in its "eyes". In an explosion, the shield was slightly battered, but still managed to stop the attack. Allen's decisions were correct, seeing this Full Frontal did not attempt a second shot. Though what surprised Allen the most was, the red Zaku did not stop, but charged forward instead.

Taking this charge motion, Allen thought it was a good chance to fire. He knows this was the last shell in his bazooka. The Gundam's "BLASH-XHB-L-03/N-STD 380mm Hyper Bazooka" only had a capacity of four shots, due to it being extremely powerful. However it was mainly used to take out heavy units such as battleships, unfortunately Full Frontal's movements was much too fast for even the beam rifle to hit, let alone the slow rate bazooka. However this was not the end, Allen had one last trick he thought of, something that can at least disable the red Zaku for a while. As expected, Full Frontal easily avoided the last shell and charged up. It was just as Allen's predictions up to this point, however the one thing he could not understand is why the Zaku has not changed into a melee weapon if its coming up close. Nonetheless, Allen did not have much time to think about other things. He quickly changed weapons into the 60 mm head vulcan, although they were not powerful enough to pierce an armor of a MS, they can do considerable damage if fired up at point blank range, or at least destroy a few cameras. Clicking down on the red button, the two guns on the Gundam's head began to pour bullets out.

"Hmph, not bad! But not good enough!" Full Frontal, as if have already predicted a move like this quickly went under the Gundam's sight of vision. And to be even more brutal, Full Frontal counter predicted this move and added further counter to his attack. The reason he did not drop his bazooka and change into the Zaku's famous heat hawk, was due to he was wanting to still fire, at point blank range. Suddenly appearing from underneath again, Allen's heart skipped a beat from the raid and saw the Zaku's mono eye. But that was quickly covered by the bazooka. Without even thinking, Allen pushed his arm up, without using the automatic guard of the Gundam's computer, he hoped at least it will shield the head. Full Frontal's sneer was not wiped off, the red Zaku pulled the trigger and the shell smashed up against the tough shield of the Gundam. The white MS was thrown back heavily.

"AHHHHH!!!!" Allen lost control of the unit, he tried his hardest to step down on the paddles and prevent the unit from behind pushed upside down from the impact. Looking again, he saw a large hole through the rough shield...

The violent shaking on the HLV steadied down as it came through the Earth skies. Several pieces of armour were shed from the heat of re-entry. Everybody inside knew that they had not landed yet, as there would be a sudden opposite force being applied when they hit something. A few seconds later, the HLV crashed down into the sand. Of all the people in there, only Thermidor had the strength to immediately get up and kick open the jammed door. A burst of light shone through into the darkened transport, signalling that the re-entry into the Arizona Desert was now over. The now weakened normal humans crawled out of the HLV one after another. Their time in outer space meant their body needed less effort to pump blood around them; coming back felt like lifting weights 2 sizes too high.

"Ha...We're finally back are we...?" Berlioz panted and leaned against the side of the crashed HLV. The state of the craft meant that it was not suitable for launching back up into space again, and their location in the middle of the desert also meant there was no transports for several miles. "This place....Ensign Rayleonard, you've made a mistake in your coordinates...." Thermidor grumbled to himself, standing at the top of a hill overlooking more of the desert. Without any warning, the man in black suddenly started walking forwards away from the HLV. "I'm going out to find some transport for us to get out of this place. The rest of you, stay where you are! Unload the Musha and Jinx and they'll look after you while I'm away..." Thermidor shouted out as he kept on walking.

"General! You don't have any idea where you're going! You'll die of thirst out there!!" Berlioz shouted in protest. He tried to run after Thermidor but when he got to the top of the hill, he was already completely out of sight, as if he'd just vanished like a ghost. Berlioz had no idea just what Thermidor had done or how he had managed to escape sight so easily...

"Right side, the barrage is getting thin! Mounters on the left, what are you doing?!" Noa scolded as the Argama shook harder and harder. Even if they were trying to raise altitude, the Argama was still brought down by the powerful gravity pull of Earth. At this moment, Allen's private channel communication came in. Sayla quickly connected it.

"Noa-san, are there any other weapons for the Gundam? The bazooka is out of ammo!" Allen shouted, he was in a bit of a panic, without a weapon, it would be even harder to go against Full Frontal. However at a situation like this, there was nothing that can be deployed. A Zaku flew by the bridge, but it did not have enough time to attack. Everytime this happens, Noa knows it was as if his life was shortened by 10 years or more. Seeing the Gundam approaching closer to the Argama, with only a bazooka without ammo, Noa did not know what was available to be deployed. Allen did not have much choice, he only threw the empty bazooka at Frontal's red Zaku. It did not even buy a second of time, and it was not even an "attack" that needs to be avoided. The Zaku simple swiped across and smashed it off course, the empty weapon went drifting into space.

However as he approached the Argama, the other Zakus that went ahead to attack the battleship began to swarm around the Gundam. Allen began to lose his patience, he was not weak, he did not want to be called weak. He just wanted to live and get out of this place. However why is everyone in CRADLE going against him, what has he done against them, that made them so spiteful of him. Ah, so this was why, Allen somehow found an answer. It was this MS and battleship they were after, because once this type of machine becomes mass produced, it would be difficult for CRADLE to maintain their superior technology lead. Then in this case, Allen decided. "Then, dont look down on me! Let me show you Gundam is not just any ordinary melee MS...!!!" he charged up and grabbed a Zaku by the head. Although the Zaku attempted to resist and fired a barrage of shells, but it was no good against the Gundam's tough lunar titanium armor. Letting the computer take the lead, Allen set the weapon to beam saber. Reaching back, pulling the handle, Allen applied force on the other arm that had the Zaku's head and pushing it down instead, giving the Gundam an absolute advantage in positioning as well. Being on top, the Beam Saber activated, and a long bright pinkish red bolt of light extended from the handle.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Thrusting down, the beam easily speared past the armor of the Zaku, destroying its generator. Allen pushed the destroyed MS back, as it exploded in a white light. Turning the camera around, he can see there were still two more enemies left. With just one beam saber it would be difficult, and Full Frontal still has his back. He needed a weapon that had a bit more range. Suddenly, he received an incoming connection from Sayla. "Allen! There is one weapon we can use, since the beam rifle is still not charged yet, theres only this left. Dont give up! The maintenance team is going to catapult it out, catch it!" the screen then blacked out. Allen notice a new terminology on the screen. Seems like the Gundam's computer automatically detected a weapon within range, however the name seems a bit peculiar. Gundam Hammer. Allen was wonder what that weapon was, if it was melee then it most likely will not change the situation much. And whoever gave it this name's sense of taste must be questioned if this Gundam Hammer is a projectile.

The hatches from the Argama opened, and a black shadow was launched. Allen closed in with his camera, what he saw made his jaw drop a bit. A black spiked ball attached on a chain with an anchor on the end, this was the so called Gundam Hammer Sayla was talking about. "Damn, what the hell is that?!" he complained, but it was not the time to do so. Indeed the long chain at the end of the spiked ball gave Allen the much needed range for now. The Gundam's computer reacted and automatically armed itself, without a second thought, Allen pulled his handle back and then threw it forward. The Gundam's motion was similar, as the huge metal spiked ball was hurled through space. Smashing against one of the Zakus by the waist, bending it like the letter L, it instantly crushed a MS...

The Argama began to shook harder, in the beginning they were already too close to the atmosphere, and was beginning to be pulled down by gravity. Noa seeing if this continues, this ship will be crushed into bits by the huge friction from atmospheric reentry. "Theres no more choices! Rie! Prepare for reentry! Taures, calculate our coorindations. Sayla, tell Mu and Allen to return! We're out of time...ugh!!" the ship shook again, one of the Zakus fired a bazooka and smashed against the deck of the Argama.

However Mu could not return anymore. His MA was badly battered against Raul's silver Zaku. With all its weapon depleted in ammunition, Mu saw no way he will defeat this enemy. "Sorry captain, I think I cant go back right now. This guy will immediately slice me in half if I tried to run. If we're both lucky, lets meet again somewhere someday!" Mu was ready to raise the death flag, without any more choices left, he wanted to eject. However if he loses foothold here, then this silver Zaku will most likely go for the Argama. Mu thought of one way, he can destroy this enemy, but the chances are low.

Full Frontal saw the Argama beginning to have a bright red "wind shield" around it, he knows it was ready to enter. Just as he thought, the Argama can easily commence an atmosphere reentry without any problems. And it most likely can go back up, however everything is going just as his plan 2 says. Even if he cannot sink the Argama here, even if he cant destroy the Gundam here. The last winner of this battle will be CRADLE. "Its time, Komusai launch!" he commanded. From underneath the Musai, it was as if the entire MS hanger detached and it dropped. The many boosters behind the space craft pushed it towards the atmosphere as well. Full Frontal was about to command Raul to pull back and go down to Earth with him, however he saw something he never expected.

Even if the gun barrels were out of ammunition, there was still one way to use it. Even if the Moebius Zero was battered, it can still fly. Mu launched the gun barrels once again, Raul did not understand why he did so. However, seeing the Moebius zero having no way of countering with projectiles, Raul decided to finish it this time. Grabbing the heat saber from the back of his MS, he applied force onto the paddles. "Annoying fly, this time I will finish you!" he shouted and charged forward.

"Like I'd let you do that?! Take this with you!!" Mu screamed back, the gun barrels quickly changed directions, the wires pulled on each other and created a net, using the gun barrels as an anchor. Although there were only two units left, the black wires wrapped perfectly around the silver Zaku, sealing its movements. Raul's eyes widened, he saw the Moebius Zero approaching. But without anymore weapons, there was only one thing it will do. Nearly at the same time, Mu and Raul opened the hatches and jumped out of their respective units. With just enough time to put on air boosters. The Moebius Zero rammed into the silver Zaku. The short circuits created a melt down with the generator inside the MA, causing an explosion. This explosion was powerful and enough to destroy the silver custom unit at a close range explosion. The kamikaze attack took out both units in a flash, Mu was thrown back several miles into the dark space, and was not seen again. Whether if he survived the explosion or not, even that was unknown. However the shockwave does not discriminate people, Raul was thrown back heavily as well. But that was towards the Musai...

Full Frontal clicked his tongue as he saw the seventh MS in his team disappear from sight. Just because of a Gundam and a new battleship, he has lost seven Zakus, and most likely will have no more face to speak up to those that sits in the upper rankings. Though what happened cannot be taken back again, this was the same thing Allen was thinking. The Gundam was difficult to control now, the steer is starting to get heavy as Allen felt the inside is raising in temperature. "God damn Full Frontal, this is the last one!" he shouted and threw the huge spiked ball at the red Zaku, preventing it from moving anymore forward. Turning and wanting to return, Allen's eyes widened. There was still one Zaku that was dragged down by gravity, holding a bazooka, it came charging over. "...ah?! This guy, does he want to die?!" Allen did not know what to do now. Without anymore projectiles, and with the head vulcans empty, there was no way to fight off a Zaku holding a bazooka. The 280 mm shell was coming, Allen braced for impact. The large shell smashed against the Gundam, throwing it badly off course and deeper into the gravitational pull of the blue planet...

With the last shot of the Zaku's bazooka, Allen could no longer stop the Gundam from falling. The temperature in the cockpit was increasing, the cameras were only showing a red surface on the blue planet. The friction was huge, it was doubtful that if the MS will last. He saw a incoming connection from the Argama. It was people shouting to him, he heard Sayla's voice. "ALLEN! Quickly return to the ship! The MS will not last like that!! ALLEN!!!" she shouted, but Allen could not do anything to change the descending course of the Gundam. The Earth's gravity pull was much too powerful for the Gundam to break free.

Full Frontal landed on the Komusai, that was preparing its atmospheric reentry as well, he just received a call from the Musai, they have retrieved Raul, and he seems to be badly injured. This did not concern Full Frontal at all though, he then received another connection. It was from the Zaku that could not make it back up. Calling, weeping, grieving for help, Full Frontal could not care less. Colonel! Colonel! Help me!! Was all that came from the radio. The green Zaku is not burning in red, its parts are falling off, it will be torn into bits any second right now. Then taking a look at the Gundam, it was burning just as red, though parts are not yet falling off. "I'm sorry, the Zaku does not have an atmospheric reentry function. Its sad but, there is nothing I can do to help you. But dont worry, because of your bravery, we were able to destroy the Federation's new MS. Your name will not be forgotten!" Frontal gave a salute and the sneer did not disappear. The Komusai began to shake as well, however his unit was safe standing on top of the small shuttle, that was designed for reentry.

Allen panicked, he saw that outside was nothing but red, was there really nothing else he can do? Seems like his life was short, it was getting hotter and hotter inside, most likely the temperature was reaching 40 or even 50. However he cannot take off his helmet, once he does, he will not be able to breath in this thin oxygen environment. Sweat drops starting to attach to the screen inside, as the gravity was heavy, the steer was heavy, with nothing else he can do. No, there was still a solution, or at least that was what Allen hoped for. Reaching below his seat, he pulled out the instruction manuel for the Gundam. Quickly scanning his eyes through the contents, he found what he wanted. "There must be a way...!! There it is!!" he saw hope, quickly flipping through the pages, so hard that a page even flew out and attached to the screen, there was instructions of how to activate the Gundam's atmospheric reentry function. There was not enough time for the computer to do it, and there was a hole in the shield, one of the most important piece of equipment. However it was better than nothing. Allen followed the procedures and typed in different commands, with not enough time, he typed with one hand and the other lowering the shield, putting it in front. The shield covered the heat and pressure, Allen felt that the cockpit was a bit cooled now, but it was still not enough. At a rate like this the MS will still be crushed, there he activated the cooling gas. Freezing air escaped the torso unit of the Gundam and quickly diffused throughout the entire unit. It was complete, the Gundam charged past the atmosphere without any problems.

"Impossible...!! Damn, the Federation has created something far beyond our imagination...!" Full Frontal cursed as he watched the Gundam break past the limit. There was nothing he could do, if he was to jump out right now, he will be crushed like that Zaku just now. The Komusai eventually did break past the atmosphere as well but the Argama was nowhere to be seen anymore.

Landing down onto the blue planet, the Argama slowly changed its boosters. Its minovsky craft system gave the battleship a "floating" function, allowing it to stay in flight as if its surroundings was still in space. Thus there was no need to change boosters of any sort. Allen's Gundam flew from above and landed hard on the Argama's deck, the hatch opened as he removed his helmet. Waving towards the bridge, he saw the others waving back at him. "This is...Earth..." Allen looked down, but what he saw was not what he expected to see. At least not from high up in space.

The Argama and Gundam has arrived on Earth, but, not at the correct position...
