Universe Century: 0079 October 4, 3:24 pm At the edge of the Sonoran desert, there is a city. Once flourished with people, but it is not quite the case right now. Although one half continued to function like a city, the other half was left slumbering in ruins. The city of Phoenix stood firmly on the ground, with half being within the usual control of CRADLE, and the other half left unattended. After the Second Reentry Operation, CRADLE deployed forces down to North America, and took both California and New York as strongholds. Although the two main cities are still somewhat functioning like before, any other cities that CRADLE walked past is now in ruins. With no strategical importance, CRADLE could bother less to repair it. With this and that, those reasons and such, the Argama was stationed in the ruins of Phoenix. Rie slowly landed the battleship and shut off the engines. Noa knew what it means to shut the engines off, but to repair it he had no choice but to take a risk. Speaking of repairing though, unlike last time they were out in open space, this time they at least have destroyed buildings providing cover, so at least the white ship wont be spotted immediately like last time. "Taures, how long did the maintenance say they need to repair the ship?" Noa turned and asked. BGM At the same time, Allen walked past the hallways, a nice aroma of shampoo diffused around him, his room was sparkling clean. About time to grow up, as he was thinking about how to act more mature and not sulk like a brat all the time. He eventually reached the infirmary. The door color is somewhat different from the rest, the rest were somewhat gray but this door was pure white. With the sign of a red cross painted on the middle, even a monkey knows its where the injured are nurtured. The automatic door slid open as Allen turned to the right. The curtains blocked the path straight in, when he reached a corner he took a glance inside. There were a few beds but only one of them was occupied. "Allen? Whats up?" Hayate put down the magazine he was holding with one hand. His arm was hung on a sling from the injury. Allen slowly walked up to his friend's bed and lowered his head for an apology. Hayate did not know why Allen was apologizing. All he remembered was a few days ago, when the Gaw was bombing the Argama, one of the bombs hit against the turret he was nearby and he broke his arm in the explosion. There were a few that were dead, but he somehow managed to survive. Though, Hayate still fails to see the connection between that and Allen. However Allen knows why he is apologizing, he feels guilty that Hayate was injured. "Hayate...its because I, I delayed Gundam's launch. Because I was sulking, and running from my responsibilities. If only I launched earlier, you probably did not have to go through all this pain..." Allen truly felt that way. If only, if only... However Hayate did not seem too concerned about this fact. Probably, even if Allen launched on time, he might as well still have been injured anyways. Its no one's fault, its only natural for Allen to be afraid and hesitant to go to battle. "Its ok, I wasnt concerned about this in the first place. Hey, its going heal by the next week or so, so no problem. Allen, this is war...its already not something we can say quit and quit. Just promise me one thing. You have the power to protect us all, then we will be relying on that power!" Hayate instead, cheered Allen. The two were silent for a while, and Allen bowed again then left. It was very rare for Allen to bow, and of all people to a friend that he sees everyday, even weekends. Hayate felt a hollow gap between him and Allen. Did he change 180 degrees after that or what? On the way out, he saw Sayla bringing a basket of fruits, obviously knowing who those are for. Allen felt something strange inside him. He did not know what this feeling was, but it was not something good. It felt like hate, but its a hate that he cannot point the spearhead towards anyone right now. Hi, was the only thing he said, and quickly shuffled away. This moment, not just Hayate, there was a gap between him and Sayla as well. This gap never existed before, even if Allen was somewhat detached from the others, there was always a bridge over the gap. Now Sayla felt that the only bridge between the gap from them to Allen, is slowly being swallowed by the darkness called fear of battle. Allen actually did not walk too far, just around the corner. He can hear the laughter from inside the infirmary, for a while he has not heard Sayla laugh, let alone seeing her smile. However he has no face to go in and see it for himself right now. It is again, this feeling Allen cannot understand. But he eventually came to an answer, thinking of this between his two best friends. How much pathetic can he be, or at least Allen thought that he was like this. The only one word that was left in his mind, it lingered. Jealousy. But only now he can be honest with his feelings, that he begins to take a liking to Sayla. However if he remains a brat like this, he will never get her attention. "Tch...damn! What am I thinking! Its not a picnic, its war!" Allen kicked against the metallic wall to block this thought out of his mind. |

At the same time, the other side of the city Phoenix, it was full of people as usual. The autumn afternoon nearby the desert was still fairly dry and warm, people are still seen walking around in short sleeves. On the top floor of a high grade hotel, the most expensive lounge room was ordered for just a few hours. But they gave the full money for a day anyways. The bathroom door was opened by a gap as steam was flowing out from in between the small opening. The sound of shower filled the room while there was one person sitting on the sofa with a muted TV. From inside the shower room, Full Frontal's voice came out. "Garma, it was a shame that they got away. We almost got them, dont be too down. You still have a party to attend tonight. But is it fine? Inviting someone like me there as well?" Frontal's face was not masked, but the steam was heavy and thick inside the large shower room that nothing can be seen even if someone was to open the door and charge in. "What are you saying, how can I not invite a friend like you. Well, if you were still up in space, then even if I wanted to it would be difficult to pull you down just for a party. But now that you're nearby, you deserve more luxury and respect from the others as well. The Red Comet, 3rd place pilot of CRADLE." Garma replied, his voice was somewhat concealed under the heavy noise of flowing water, but Frontal heard it clear enough to know what he was talking about. "But tonight's party is suppose to be for you to find a fiancee and also increase our nation's relationship with neutral factions. Taking a pilot and MS commander there might cause some trouble wont it?" Frontal replied, he is trying his best to show respect, but deep down in his heart, he really did not care if he attended or not. If he did then good, there will be lots of good food and wine. If he didnt then fine, he can just go back to his room and relax. Either way did not concern him, however one thing Garma said made him sneer inside the steam again. "Its fine, it must be everyone's glory to be able to meet one of CRADLE's top MS commander and pilot. Within the entire army, only 7 aces were able to destroy over 200 enemies and 50 ships added together. To be honest, I think that youre the only sane one out of the 7, because the other 6 seems somehow difficult to interact with. Especially when they do not take orders from anyone but the queen and elder sister Carissa herself...but Frontal, despite you have the right to not take my orders, you are still so loyal and trustful to me, I must thank you, but im sure just by a party like this will never be enough to show how grateful I am for your help!" What a long reason, of course this will never be enough for you to repay me. To be honest there is nothing I need from you. Or that was what Full Frontal was thinking, he thought little to none of Garma, he only approached Garma during the academy days because he was the youngest and only son of Queen Elisard, the ruler of the Side 3 and CRADLE. Having a "friend" that carries royal blood, it will make much of what he plans easier. Being a genius in MS piloting, being a genius full of commanding charisma, and also using his relationship with Garma, he climbed up to the rank of colonel in just a mere age of 24. Unthinkable for people who often believe the rank of colonel are all old men with a long white beard. "Well, relax and enjoy yourself until the party starts. I will go down to check on the ballroom first, dont forget to come down to the 4th floor at 7 pm, party is starting then!" Garma left that and walked out of the room. Frontal heard the auto electronic lock click in between the door, he swung open the shower room door as well. A puff of steam trailed him as he covered his face with a towel. The sneer was still there... |

Allen watched the sun set down from the small window, it was autumn, sunsets are much earlier and the days are getting shorter. Despite it only being around 5, golden light poured into his sparkling room that he just cleaned. The light reflected off the metallic ground and around the room, making the sparkling room even shinier. However the shine gave a lonely silhouette of Allen lying on the bed. Rolling around it was difficult to block out the thought that Sayla was getting along with Hayate better than getting along with him. "Damn, I cant be like this all the time...!!" he quickly jumped off the bed and walked towards the hangers. Bowing a bit and showing the least amount of respect to the maintenance crew as elders, he walked up and entered from the second floor. The long hallway lead to the cockpit of the Gundam. Looking down it was still quite high, turning the system on, he opened the software that the Federation wrote for the Gundam's learning computer system. But then scanning through the many data, he still decided to stick his USB into the CPU. The screen was full of codes that no one probably would understand other than the maintenance crew, let alone the pilot themselves. Most pilots are taught the least amount of knowledge to know how to maintain their units, however not as much as they can rewrite softwares inside machines. However this MS already belongs to him, at least when he is on board the Argama. Letting the software automatically rewrite itself, Allen then swung himself out of the cockpit and called out to the chief maintenance down below. "Mr. Sanders, can I have a second with you?" lowering himself from the Gundam, he jumped down and showed him a part. It looked like a part of a machine, Sanders tilted his head, not sure what that is specifically. "When I used the beam javelin few days ago, I felt that there was a slight vibration when the two beam sabers connected. I wonder if this would stabilize the energy output?" he asked, Sanders, with his dark tan skin and oil covered hand, picked up the small part from Allen's hand. "Hmm, I see what you mean. Well, the Gundam was the test bed for many new technology, it would only be natural if they had one or two places not too well made. Though if you want to stabilize the vibration, here...you probably would have to..." as Sanders was going and spitting out a bunch of weird terminology, Allen somewhat managed to block the thought of jealousy out of his mind. He needs to become stronger, to save everyone and protect Sayla. To do this, he needs to make his only weapon, the Gundam stronger as well. Because without that, he has nothing else to be proud of. Sayla peeled an apple and cut it into bits, laying them out on a plate, she handed it over to Hayate. She only smiled a bit, and Hayate accepted this as a friend. Not like Allen think, Hayate sees Sayla as a really good friend that is always there to help when needed. But only a friend, nothing more, nothing less. The same went for Sayla, she saw Hayate as a good friend that needs to be nurtured right now. Now if Allen knew this, he might be fine for half the part, but who knows about the other half. Since Sayla, saw Allen as a friend as well. Just a friend, no more no less, she is grateful that Allen is working hard and stopped whining, but even she was oblivious about Allen's feelings for her, at least for now. "Sorry, causing you trouble all the time. Ah, but no matter how you look at it. Allen is amazing isnt it...?" Hayate sighed, he was admiring how Allen quickly became the sign of ace for everyone on board. "If only I had half of his talent, I might not be lying here on bed right now..." he sighed again. "But I know, Allen really does not want to continue this. He stopped running from his responsibilities, which is good. But this sort of war, we dont know what will happen...what if, what if..." she was worried. No matter how skilled Allen is, no matter how high performance the Gundam is. There was always 1 enemy that will continue to strike fear inside the hearts of the Argama crew. The Red Comet... |

After Allen told Sanders what he wanted to do, the chief nodded and began to call some people to work on the Gundam. Using the ideas Allen gave, it was much easier asking someone that is use to fiddling with MS to work on the Gundam instead of himself. However he does not want to do nothing, and therefore decided to walk to the simulation machine. Typing in data, he intentionally increased the level of his opponent, giving it 3 times speed in movement. Having a simple red outline, the type of the enemy was chosen to be a Zaku. "Full Frontal...that must be a way to defeat him!" Allen was obsessed in defeating this enemy, however no matter how many times, what strategies he took, the simulation never gave him a chance to win over 10%. Out of ideas, Allen rubbed his eyes and laid back. The bright light that shined down from above him, the noise of clanging metals resembled the footsteps on gym floor. Closing his eyes for a moment, he began to recall. Yes, it was roughly around two, three weeks ago, just the day before my world was flipped upside down, in Side 7... It was a rainy day outside in the colony, autumn rain, not that the rain wants to fall, but it is one of the planned lifestyles of a colony, having artificial rain fall from the sky during specific times. When the fake fake very fake yet very real clouds covered the skies and water begin to drop. The gym in Allen's high school was filled with bright white lights, with foot steps screeching against the slippery gym floor, Allen was sitting in a corner with his gym uniforms. Basketballs were bouncing around, the boys were playing basketball one one side of the gym, while the girls were doing some kind of gymnastic on the other side. Little interest in what was going on, Allen yawned. However a ball came flying at him, without even thinking he reached out and caught the incoming danger. "Hey, dont just sit there and at least move a bit. You're even more physically fit than me and yet all you do is slack off at home, I wonder why you can maintain this sort of ability." Hayate sighed and wiped the side of his head with his shoulders. A bit of black smeared onto the white gym uniform as Allen got up. "...what a bother, go play alone if you want to play. Sports is just a waste of energy, something like this..." he dribbled the brown sphere as he walked up under the basket, stepping on the free throw line. Then catching the ball with both hands and lifted his shoulders up. "...is nothing more than just wasting time..." he uninterestedly dissed one of the most popular sports in the world as the ball was released from his hands. Flying in a perfect arc, it landed in the basket clean and clear. Bouncing once, and bouncing twice, Allen walked turned and sighed. Though something caught his eyes when he turned, somehow the gym teacher was away and has been away for around 5 minutes. But there were a few voices that caught his attention. "Whats that, you idiot! You cant even do that?" one golden hair and tanned skin girl, obviously the leader of a gal group with many others behind her, was laughing at someone that fell on the floor after failing an action. From his angle, Allen cannot clearly see who they were laughing at. But he could care less, people can fight all they want, they can even set the gym on fire, as long as he doesnt get hurt, he can care less. However after walking a few steps, Allen saw who was in the middle of the gal gang. With long blond hair and emerald green eyes, one girl was sitting down in the middle of the gal gang that was bullying her. Allen took a glance, it was Sayla. He knew her since middle school, and always knew that when Sayla was young, she was actually physically weak due to being sick all the time. "Ah ah...theyre doing it again. Sayla tends to be bullied by them a lot, especially during gym class. Well, as the male gender, we really dont have much right to step into the female talks. Not that I dont want to go help her, we really shouldnt. Allen...hey, Allen...ooooi~" Hayate tapped Allen on the shoulders, his words might sound irresponsible, but knowing Hayate even longer, he knew that Hayate often acts upon the most logical way and will avoid unnecessary trouble. But one question remains inside Allen, is this the correct way to see this matter? From what Hayate has been telling him, Sayla seems to be troubled a lot by this gang of girls. And because they appear in a group, other girls do not have the ability to go against them. Maybe it was just as Hayate said, boys can keep quiet and ignore girls matter. But is the really the correct way to approach this problem? Just because it might cause some trouble, then does it mean that they can just watch a friend being bullied. Although Allen seems to approach life carefree and cares little to nothing about his surroundings, he cares much about his friends deep inside. And to him, Sayla meant more than just a friend, to him at least. Dont joke like that...you think you're right bullying someone huh? Allen decided to walk up, he crossed the line that separates the two halves of the gym. The gal gang surrounded Sayla in a half circle, but the other half was opened. Now recalling, he did indeed cause some trouble that made the entire school chat about his actions of pulling Sayla out of the gang. No physical violence, but just that Allen's position in school has became very ambiguous. Ah, there was something like that too I guess, as Allen began to recall a bit more... The lights went black "Wh...whats going on?" he quickly sat up straight, the sudden darkness that flooded over him made goosebumps rise on his skin. It was so sudden that their eyes have not gotten use to the change in environment yet, he can see nothing, not even his own fingers. He can also hear the maintenance crew complaining in chaos. Blackout? asked one. How can there be a blackout here you idiot, shouted Sanders, but then there was a broadcast throughout the ship. From the bridge, Sayla put her lips close to the microphone. Even the bridge had its lights suddenly turned off, now that the entire bridge was dark as well, the crew could not do much as well. "All crew members please stay still and remain in their positions. We must turn off all lights due to the detection of CRADLE's Luggen class reconnaissance aircraft being within range. Please do not panick" she reported, seeing the small aircraft fly away in a distance... |

As the clock struck seven straight, the party began at the 4th floor of San Carlos hotel. The dimmed light immediately lit up fully as people began to chat. Everyone that were invited to the party were elegant ladies and gentleman, dressed up neatly in formal suits and dresses, it was strange enough to have a party being hosted near a military base. The orchestra behind played a classic tune that acted like the background music of a ball, as everyone knows. Full Frontal, in his usual red uniform and mask, he appeared formal enough to be wearing his normal clothes into the party. Under his mask, he sees other high officials of CRADLE, in their uniforms as well. Frontal's red uniform seems to be unnatural compared to the dark army green one Garma and the others are, however this also proves how much external power he holds, being the top ace in CRADLE a well. Spotting his "friend", he decided to go over and "thank" him for the invitation. "Garma, thanks for inviting me. Havent been in a party for a while!" he called out to him from behind. "Oh, Frontal. Thanks for coming! The party is hosted by me, mainly to strengthen our diplomatic and domestic relationships between Side 3 governors, CRADLE officials and supporting organizations. Oh, let me introduce her to you. Shes the only daughter of the Eschonbach family, Icelina Eschonbach. You see, we have known each other for a year now, and I'm, really quite attached to her...heh heh" the young prince blushed a bit, Full Frontal took a close look at the elegant lady, azure blue eyes and long blond hair, similar color to his own. Of course her hair was much more well maintained and it was glittering. "Eschonbach...can it be, the CEO of the company that is supporting CRADLE with transport and resources. Correct me if I am wrong, but most of the transport of resources from Odessa is managed by Eschonbach logistics company." Frontal recalled, Garma nodded as Icelina smiled and clutched Garma's arm closely. However despite that, there are still other girls crowding around Garma. Not that Icelina cares, Garma seems to be too much of a pretty boy, but in Full Frontal's eyes, he is nothing more than a spoiled brat that just wants to show his sisters how grown up he is. In reality, he is not grown up in the slightest sense. "Frontal, please enjoy yourself then!" Garma said that and began to chat with the girls around him. Frontal nodded and turned. Seeing everyone having a rose stuck in the pocket of their uniform, Frontal decided to pull one right off the vase, ripping the bottom stem off and sticking it inside his uniform as well. Since hes here then its better to follow whatever rules that prince set. Walking towards a bar table, he ordered a cocktail and turned to look. Nothing can be seen from outside, but he can see clearly from the inside. Though one person caught his eyes. His dress code was much too peculiar, or he might go as far as saying inappropriate for a formal party like this. But probably it was not just his clothing that made it difficult for Frontal to determine what this, person (?) is. Or at least he looked like a person, was he being plagued by some sort of diseases. A boy, very very pale. Almost as pale as an albino, with moppy white hair. He only wore a t-shirt, black contrasting his white. Long brown pants and black shoes. The stripes on the t-shirt seems to gather on the center with a few symbols like the diamond. Somehow the shirt appears like something a person might wear to some ritual. But something did not seem right with this person, but before Frontal can think more, he disappeared into the crowd. "That is...? Why does he make my spine shiver...from birth to today, not one person has made me shiver like this..." he thought. Spoiler: click to toggle

As Frontal wanted to go check more on the pale pale very pale boy, he put down his glass of cocktail that he didnt drink much from and headed towards the crowd. Though what else that concerned, next to Garma were three girls, but one soldier instead. He seems to be whispering something in the prince's ears as Garma's expression had a 180 degree turn. His eyes widened and somehow let out a grin. Though Frontal somewhat guessed what was going on. The trojan horse was detected, and that Garma is hunger for battle. To show off to his three elder sisters, and the queen herself. Seeing Garma bowing in apology, he grabbed the rose on his uniform and put it on the table along with his glass. After that he walked out with the soldier, Frontal saw that and decided to follow. The night of Pheonix was surprisingly quiet. Due to there being a military base nearby, the locals did not make too much of a noise at night as well. Or maybe it was due to being somewhat close to the desolated areas of the desert, there were no much people. Naturally there was not much light, but even so, Frontal cannot see much starts due to the bad pollution of Earth. Approaching Garma from behind, he overheard his conversation with the soldiers. "Alright, we have caught sight of the trojan horse hidden in the ruins of this city. This time, we must defeat it! I was wrong and naive thinking I could capture it last time, but I swear, this time I will not be so simple minded! Everyone, please lend me your powers once again!!" he cheered, the soldiers lining up in a row all cheered with him. Walking up from behind, Frontal patted him on the shoulders. "Load my MS onto the Gaw as well!" Frontal commanded, Garma was shocked. He did not expect Frontal to help even at a time like this. "Frontal...? Is it really fine? Didnt you say you havent been in a party for so long and wants to relax for a while. Its fine, I can handle this alone, you can go back and continue to enjoy! If anything happens to me then..." Garma persuaded, Frontal shook his head and let out a faked tender smile under his mask. This man can fake warmth, and manipulate the hearts of people. However yet until today, no one knows. Because no one knows, this proves that he is so good at doing so. "How can I send a friend to battle and lay back in a party alone? And dont say something like youre about to go get yourself killed. Because I'm going to be by your side and support you..." Frontal comforted, for a moment it really seemed like Frontal truly wishes to help Garma. And for a while, Garma cannot be anymore grateful than he already is, he is already thinking of how to repay Frontal in the future. Maybe after he sinks the trojan horse and he gets promoted, he can send a proposal to have Frontal promoted as well. All and all, he is full of confident now that his "friend" is by his side. "I...I am at a lost of words. I swear someday, when this war is over and we come out in victory..." he took a deep breath and nodded. Frontal just smiled and walked away, seeing someone running out after Garma left. Taking the other soldiers away as well, Icelina came running up to Garma. Frontal turned and gave his "friend" one last look, and possibly the last time he will see him sane and alive at least. His red uniform swayed in the autumn wind as he turned and boarded the Gaw, the only unit left now. "Garma-sama! Please be careful!! I always believe that you will come back in victory. Therefore...therefore, for our future, please...please be careful!" Icelina had her eyes all red, almost breaking out in tears after hearing Garma is going into battle. But she knows, he is a military officer. It is only natural for a commander to go to battle along with his troops. Though what she meant be careful, it not about being careful of the enemy. But instead, be careful about someone that might stab him in the back. Garma did not understand what Icelina meant by that, she scanned her surroundings with her azure blue eyes. Making sure the masked red commander have boarded the aircraft, she went close to Garma. "Garma-sama, something I do not feel right about your friend. I am scared of him...even in a party like that he has no intention of taking off his mask, and that name...no matter how you think of it, Full Frontal is not a proper name any parent will name their child. Even Garma-sama never seen his real face right? Then that all adds to the fear he gives me. Oh Garma-sama, please rethink and stay, but leave the front lines to him. If he is really the 3rd ranked ace in CRADLE, then he should be able to defeat your enemies alone!" she warned, Garma was still thinking, but it was only natural for someone to doubt Frontal due to his mask. But Garma trusts him. "Also one more thing, please hear my out. Last time Garma-sama said that the radio on the aircraft was turned off by accident during the impact, so that Garma-sama's connection cannot be reached. I also fear that it was turned off on purpose..." "Icelina, dont worry. Frontal is risking his life trying to support me in battle, how can I turn him down and just let him go alone? Many people do not understand Frontal, because they do not know about him enough. He was injured and was one of the victims of war before. Therefore needs to wear his mask to conceal that wound. Also he has been the target of assassination since he was a survivor of the war, therefore he needs to conceal his name as well. But I understand him, no matter how he appears, I know he is loyal, truthful and good deep down in nature! I will come back, we can continue the party by then. No, when I come back...I will propose to you! Therefore, wait...I will be right back!" Garma comforted, the two crossed lips for a moment as Frontal pulled his headphones that he hid under his long sleeved red uniform. No one noticed, when Frontal patted Garma on the shoulder, he slipped an eavesdropping microphone inside his uniform. Frontal heard everything, thinking it would be necessary to know what Garma might say in front of his "fiancee". Now that Frontal knows what Garma thinks of him, but at the same time he needs to be careful. If he does not carry out his plan soon it would be dangerous, because there is already someone sharp enough to doubt him. "Garma, I find it hard to believe how can you trust someone in a mask with a nickname so easily. But your fiancee, I would of been dead for treason if she was my commander by now..." |

BGM The alarm once again roared inside the Argama, Allen knew immediately that CRADLE detected them. Of course such a big ass white ship will never be able to hide properly in this sort of ruins. Well, even Noa knew that it would only be a matter of time before they are spotted again. The broadcast continued, Allen took a glance at the huge clock hung high on the walls of the garage. 9:40 pm, it has been a long day, he has thought about a lot, especially about his relationship with Sayla and Hayate's relationship with her as well. Though he has been thinking about those all day while trying to improve the Gundam and running simulations on how to defeat Full Frontal the Red Comet. It was already night before he knew it, and now the Red Comet just decided to pay them a little visit. Allen quickly ran towards the lockers to grab his normal suit, while the broadcast ran through the hallways. All members first battle phase, we are detected by CRADLE, enemy is approaching. Repeat, all crew members first battle phase, we are detected by CRADLE, enemy approaching. The enemy is one Gaw unit, turret mounters prepare, Gundam prepare to launch! It was Sayla's voice that was broadcasting, the engines are starting slowly. Most likely by the time the Gaw arrives it will be started and the Argama ready to fly anytime. Unlike last time they were caught with their pants down in the middle of repairing, this time Noa ordered that the engines must be on to the minimal amount that it takes less than 3 minutes to start up. The Gaw was within sight, the turrets were all ready to attack. Full Frontal immediately turned and headed for the MS hanger. The Gaw has capacity for three MS units, including his red Zaku, there are only two other MS. Since this Gaw was prepared in a hurry, no other Dopp Fighters or Magella attack tanks were loaded, not even Garma's own unit. Garma thought he would be safe on board, and Frontal will make it back alive in any kind of situation, he was confident that this time he will win and destroy the Argama. "Frontal, leaving the frontline commands to you! With this, I finally have face to equally speak with mother and my three elder sisters." Garma felt like he has won already, Frontal was emotionless but he did make one turn. "Garma. May the glory of victory be with you!" he swung his hand across the air and blessed his "friend" and walked away again. Stepping on the handle and grabbing onto the black rope, the pulley of the MS pulled him up into the cockpit as he closed the hatches. The computer slowly lit up and displayed a screen, as usual the "pole" in the middle. The Zaku's system was nowhere near the Gundam's in terms of technology, it looked dull and simple, maybe even simpler than a plane. A simple radar under the main screen and buttons next to it on the right. The radio on the left and that was all. The screen from the computer was not even bright enough to light up the cockpit, the dim light reflected gently on Frontal's mask. Turning all systems on he applied force on the acceleration paddle, the Zaku was unlocked from the hanger and walked a few steps forward. The hatches for the Gaw slowly opened, Frontal can see the clouds that were floating in mid air, but since the hatches were behind the main unit of the aircraft, Frontal cannot utilize the catapult to activate his 3x speed. "Full Frontal, launching!" he commanded, jumping and pushing up with his burners, the Zaku stomped on the top of the Gaw. The whole unit shook a bit as he kicked off the edge of the Gaw's solid wings. Although it was not hard enough to stop the Gundam's beam javelin, it gave Frontal's red Zaku enough acceleration that he dived down like an eagle swopping for its prey. The sneer appeared again, Frontal kicked off a broken building and charged directly towards the Argama without losing speed. Zipping like lightning in between the barrage of shells the Argama was releasing, Frontal did not lose any speed at all. Without slowing down he went straight for the bridge, and smashing onto the gray tracks of the white ship. "Good bye trojan horse, you proved to be worthy of my opponent for a while, not anymore..." he coldly sneered and took aim with his bazooka. Noa and the other crew members did not believe that Frontal would not even slow down in the barrage of bullets. No matter how skilled the Red Comet may be, reaching the Argama from the Gaw in just a mere 5 seconds was ridiculous. Sayla prayed for help, Taures wanted to drop his headphones and run, Noa just sat there with his jaws clenched knowing his life will be finished in the next second. 18 years, not even in his 20s, that was the case for everyone on the bridge, or even younger...life was short for those youngsters that might have a bright future. |

Suddenly one rail of beam forced Frontal to jump back and off the Argama, the Gundam peeked out the hatches and fired one shot just in time to stop Frontal from destroying the bridge. "I wont let you do that!!" Allen shouted, immediately dropping the rifle unattended on the ship's deck, he grabbed the bazooka hung on the wall of the hangers and jumped down as well. The Argama kicked off the ground and was ready to lift up into the sky. Noa and the others' hearts all skipped a few beats, but it does not mean that they are completely safe. Quickly lift off, ordered Noa. Allen's MS descended along with Frontal's Zaku into the ruined city. Even if it was difficult to hide a battleship, it provided perfect cover and at the same time hazard for MS battles. "Hmm? Not bad, it seems like the pilot of that MS is slowly beginning to keep up with me. But I really hope you dont think just by being able to keep up will net you a victory, do you...Federation MS pilot?" Frontal muttered to himself, he quickly got sight of the Gundam, leaving his back unguarded. In a pile of debris, the first to spot the enemy holds the advantage. Frontal quickly pushed forward and jumped up, on a half broken building, taking aim at the Gundam, the red Zaku fired a 280 mm shell from its bazooka. Allen saw the large shell flying at him from behind, using his rear camera, he saw it clearly but even so in this pose it was hard to counter attack. Pushing towards the side, the Gundam slid to avoid the attack and the bazooka shell smashed onto the half broken wall behind, rendering it completely broken now. Allen did not rush and counter attack, he knows that his Hyper Bazooka only has 4 shells. Though this should apply similarly to Frontal as well, his Zaku's bazooka by theory will not hold much shells too. Frontal jumped down from the building and charged forward without slowing down. Allen knew this pattern, even though he did not perfected his strategy during his simulation, he at least managed to find a solution to this. As expected Frontal did not have any intentions of drawing a melee weapon. "Like I'd always eat the same thing from you huh?" Allen took aim at the ground from the right and up diagonally, firing the 60 mm head vulcans. Due to the close distance, even one shell can do considerable damage. Knowing this, Frontal dodged to the left, it was no use going to the right nor duck under it like last time in space. The 45 degree firing line made Frontal unable to aim from his side with his bazooka, effectively stopping his point blank shot. Frontal was a bit surprised that the Gundam managed to pull that out, however he was still convinced that it was purely by luck and not planned out. Rushing forward, it was close enough for melee, attempting to ram into the Gundam with the spiked shoulder on his Zaku, however it was the first time Frontal's eyes widened under his mask. The shield on the left hand, the Gundam stopped Frontal's charging as well. Reversing his pose, as if spinning 360 degrees on a game joystick, applying force on the burners, the Zaku jumped slightly and kicked against the Gundam shield. Using the force from this, Frontal flew across the ruins and into another area. Allen tried to fire at the red Zaku, the shell missed and smashed into a building leaving nothing. "Tche...!! That guy...! Argama is fine?" he turned on the radar and scanned the surroundings, being careful of his surroundings Allen turned his back and slowly shuffled through the ruins towards the Argama. |

The two Zakus that were chasing after the Argama were firing its bazookas against the ship, the large explosives drilled at the ship's deck and exploding. The ship shook a bit as there were no more MS on board able to counter enemy MS. The Gaw also fired a rail of yellow beam cannon. "Kuh...!! Rie, ship hull left 30, evade!!" the Argama tilted as the beam scratched passed. Although avoiding a direct hit, the Argama did not come out of his unscathed. However the white ship was not going to be sunk like a sitting duck. From behind, a barrage of missiles went for the Gaw. The Gaw also had machine cannons around, firing from all directions, the small shells battered against the missiles causing them to explode before reaching the hull of the ship. However even so, the Gaw was not unharmed as well. The missiles smashed agains the side and large front of the carrier. Tilting the purple aircraft a bit, Garma held onto a nearby seat to prevent himself being thrown off balance. "Grr...damn that ship, dont let it get away. Beam cannon fire! Zakus split into two and go ahead...Zaku, whats wrong reply!!" Garma shouted over the radio. Just as expected of the Federation's newest ship, just a few MS is far from not enough to stop it. The thick layer of bullet barrage might not be good enough to stop Full Frontal, but for an ordinary MS pilot it was much too difficult to get close, let alone sink it. "Ah!! Commodore, its impossible...Ah!!" the pilot cried for help before the thick barrage of shells battered and ripped across the armor of the green MS, its thick armor were like paper in front of the Argama's powerful turrets. The other Zaku was already destroyed, the minovsky generation from the Zaku exploded creating a huge flash and kicking up a huge amount of dust. With that and the already sprinkled minovsky particles by the Gaw and Argama, the battlefield was completely deprived of radio communication of any sort. Neither Frontal nor Allen knew where their mother ship was. Allen was left wandering around in the ruins of the city, looking for the Argama, and at the same time being careful because Frontal can strike anytime. At the same time Frontal was wandering around as well. He was also cautious, careful not to have the Gundam catch him with his back. "Impossible, how can that size of a ship disappear! We are left without a MS, its up to us to sink that ship. If I fail again, I will never have anymore face to talk with my sisters and mother! I...cant turn back anymore. There should be only a limited amount of space to hide here, find it!" Garma shouted as the Gaw flew over in the sky. In the meantime, the Argama was forced to "land" and push itself inside a half broken dome shaped stadium. The ship perfectly fitted inside as it made a U turn, having it face the right way, ready to get out anytime. "Taures, prepare the Mega Particle Cannon and all missiles. Our winning chance is here, but if they manage to find us before we find them then this will be our coffins. If the Gaw flies over us without noticing, we have a chance. Lend me your strength everyone!" Noa cheered, the bridge crew nodded. Everyone was silent, all light was turned off again. Only the bridge crew can see what was going on outside from the narrow windows and small screens of the camera. They were fighting in black, but it was the only way they can hide themselves from the Gaw. However there was one unfortunate person that managed to see where the Argama parked itself. Frontal thought for a while and then the sneer was there again. Turning the radio on, the signal was still not good from the high density of minovsky particles. Garma....t....jan......rse...f....t....a...ead... That was all Garma picked up from the radio, but trusting his "friend" he believed that Frontal meant, the trojan horse is ahead, and wanting them to attack. Thinking from the ground, Frontal might have a better view of where the white battleship was hiding, he was ready. "Alright take charge, this time we will finish the trojan horse one and for all. They must be hiding behind that building! Get up close and prepare the beam cannon, we will crush their bridge!" Garma shouted as the Gaw began to push forward. Completely oblivious that Frontal actually gave them the opposite direction, and that the Argama was right under them. The half open dome was just open enough for the Argama to hide without being seen unless from in front, and good enough to attack enemies from the front at well. BGM Noa swallowed hard as the radar showed nothing due to the heavy minovsky particle density. However they heard a sound, it was the sound of a huge aircraft overhead. The dark ruins of the city was there, however the huge Gaw continued to push forward. If they were to drop bombs at a time like, the Argama was finished. However whether if they were lucky or if Garma was unlucky, the Gaw passed by without noticing what was hiding under them. Noa saw the chance, now their positions are exactly opposite. The Gaw that was trailing the Argama all these days finally showed its back. "We cant let this chance slip by, our only chance to defeat that! All missiles fire!! Mega Particle Cannon fire as well!! Sink that Gaw under any cost, lights up!!" Noa shouted, the entire ship lit up. Multiple rails of mega p. cannons were unleashed towards the Gaw from behind. Tens and hundreds of missiles followed as well. Smashing and battering against the unmoved fortress of CRADLE, the advantage was turned immediately. The Gaw tilted at a high degree and it was clearly losing control and altitude. "What...?! Impossible?! From...behind!!" Garma took a glance at the rear camera, but he can only longer stand still. The purple aircraft was thrown almost in a barrel roll, but it somehow managed to maintain altitude. Then Garma saw a red Zaku which colours are contrasting its black surrounding. From that angle, it was perfectly possible for Frontal of have seen where the Argama was. The only thing Garma can think of now is, that Frontal gave him a false report on purpose. "How come...why? Frontal...why did you..." Garma asked weakly over the radio. Garma yo, I sometimes find it hard, or even I laugh at how you trust someone with a mask and nickname so much. Do you think I ever for a second thought that you were an equal to me? Dont make me laugh, your little pesky prince attitude and proclaimed friendship makes me want to vomit. Now that I have stomped on you enough, you can go die. Stepping stone...Hahahaha! Hearing this, everything was clear. What Icelina told him was true, everything until now. Frontal used him to accelerate in ranks of the military. No matter how good of a pilot or commander, it was difficult to gain trust and authority at that age. Therefore Frontal befriended Garma, a person that carries royal blood. Now that Frontal has reached the rank of colonel, having considerable authority being the 3rd ace in CRADLE, he no longer needs Garma anymore. Everything was just as his "fiancee" told him, Frontal cannot be trusted. But what can he do now, it was all too late. The Gaw was about to sink from the continuous attacks from the Argama. Garma screamed in madness, being betrayed by someone he trusted so much. "Frontal, you plotted against me...FULL FRONTAL!!! Like im going to die here!! If im going to die then at least im bringing you down to hell with me!!!" Garma lost his mind in despair. His neatly waxed out hair was now in a mess and his pretty boy's face was wrinkled with madness. He pushed the current operator off his seat and grabbed the steer himself, the Gaw made a sharp U turn and charged towards the Argama... "FULL FRONTAL!!! YOU WILL REGRET THIS!!!" The Gaw was heading towards the Argama for a kamikaze attack. No matter how many beams and missiles and shells battered against it, it did not stop. The Argama will sink if the Gaw crashed in right now, since they were hiding inside a half opened dome, there was nowhere to run for them. "Fire! Dont let it close by!! FIRE!!" Noa knows, those that are prepared to die are the most fearsome and powerful enemies. If the Gaw closes in anymore, then the Argama will be harmed by the explosion from its generator's explosion as well. Closing in, Allen reached the Argama now as well. However he knows, even if he fired it will not stop the Gaw. His eyes widened, he hoped Sayla would be ok, but it was not time to sulk like this. Though even if he wanted to do something about the mad object, there was nothing he could do against it. The Argama was left with no choices left, Noa went and grabbed the aim for himself. At a time like this, he hoped to be a bit more useful other than barking out commands. Narrowing his eyes, every second means more danger, but missing this last shot means death. "Not letting you anymore close by!!" he shouted and rammed down onto the fire button, one shot from the mega p. cannon on the Argama soared through the black black air. The heat was much higher than anything that can be naturally produced on earth, and it speared through the large hull of Gaw. Garma was covered and engulfed in a light, the large attack aircraft crumbled into pieces and exploded. Losing control it crashed "safety" away from the Argama and created a large mushroom cloud behind. Full Frontal, he saluted and laughed. With no remorse, he decided to pull back as there was nothing more to be done in this area. Everyone slumped down as they finally managed to get away and defeat their enemy. It was the first victory for the Argama, though no one was really happy about that. Allen made his way back to the ship as it slowly lifted up and away. Continuing its journey to Jaburo. Royal blood was spilled tonight at this moment. The battle between the Federation and CRADLE will accelerate due to this event, it marked the first victory against a major CRADLE squadron as well. Though this does not symbol the end of the war... From a far, there was one boy that watched the entire thing. He was not afraid of being hit by any shells that might fly the wrong way. Nor was he afraid of the huge heat every shot generated. The cool night autumn breeze brushed past him, but not even a hair moved. He grinned, a wide wild grin from the pale pale very white youngster. Great evil, a power far beyond even Full Frontal, was watching the Argama crew, very dangerous...but at the same time, from very far... Spoiler: click to toggle
