Universal Century 0079, November 7, 6:00 AM

As the Argama slowly landed on the ground, it was one of the few times that this ship has ever been inside a friendly fleet. The Federation forces stationed on the outskirts of the Odessa base, ready for the large scale operation to counter attack CRADLE. By retaking Odessa, the Federation's foothold on Earth will once again become unmoved and force CRADLE back into space. The Argama crew, though only Noa and Allen was following Silvia down the hallways. Taures and Rie must always be in their positions in case anything happens. It was not the hallways of the Argama, since it looked significantly different.

Knocking on the door, Silvia waited for a reply from beyond. The Federation's large land battleship, the Big Tray served as the flagship of their forces. Although being inside a ship, there was a door with hinges, made of wood as well. Although it was not as luxurious as M'quve's one, it was certainly something not anyone in the army can have. "Come in", a voice came from inside. It sounded like one of a middle aged, or even more so man. Silvia turned the door knob and swung opened the door. The Argama crew slowly walked in and followed her, Allen looked around the room, it seems to be an office, not a room that the Argama had. "Well, look who we've got here." the man certainly was not middle aged, he had a white beard that covered from his cheeks to chin, and old white hair under his Federation cap. However, he had a smile of a nice man as well. The room had a heavy smell of coffee as well, Silvia saluted and handed her clipboard she always had over to the old man. He might even be in his 70s already. Noa and Allen followed with a salute as well.

"Ho, excellent. It's hard to believe a ship crew consisting of amateurs and civilians made it all the way here. The battle records since Side 7 speaks for your names louder than anyone else's in this war probably. Noa-kun right? Nice to meet you!" the old man walked up and offered a handshake. Noa immediately accepted the handshake, showing much more respect than anyone he met. Or at least that is what Allen saw in his eyes.

"Thank you very much General Revil, but I did not do much! It is him that protected our ship." Noa smiled and stepped back a bit, showing Allen to the general. General Revil, he is the supreme commander of the Earth Federation forces both on Earth and in space. Being experienced in many ways, he is heavily trusted, respected by his soldiers, and by the other generals in the Federation headquarters. With a strong sense of justice, and revolutionary way of thought, he will lead the battle of Odessa personally. Stepping up and facing Allen, he only gave a smile. Now since Allen has had a bad impression of the Federation officers, he did not feel so from this general, only the image of a nice old man down the street.

"So, you're Allen-kun? I have to admit I was stunned after seeing your battle records, the Red Comet Full Frontal, Garma Elisard, and even the Blue Nova Ramba Ral has fallen under you. Although people might think that you've won due to the Gundam's specs, I feel that you put more effort than that in your battles. We'll be looking forward to your performances as well, nice to meet you, I'm General Revil." he offered a handshake as well. Allen bowed and accepted it, Revil's smile was still there.

Revil then walked back to his desk and pointed at the electronic map behind him, displaying the geography of Odessa. Pointing at the dot on the northern part, then sliding his fingers across the screen and reaching until the east. "Actually, we want your ship to take another route other than our main forces. We will not force you to charge into the enemy lines. I dont mind if its just a bit, disturb the enemy forces from behind. Actually no matter how large our forces are, we still cannot field enough units to take on CRADLE's main forces consisting of MS. It'll help lots if you can give pressure to CRADLE from behind." he explained, Noa looked at the map and nodded. there was a moment of silence, as Noa and Allen walked out. On the way out, they gave another salute and slowly closed the door.

Revil sighed and sat down on his chair, look up at Silvia. "Well, I feel sorry for not telling them but, I guess making them do this is more like becoming a bait. The Argama has become too well known for CRADLE as well, maybe its even becoming infamous as well. With that ship behind their lines, it will indeed give pressure to CRADLE, and make CRADLE attack the Argama. Silvia, I have not stationed you anywhere yet, but would you like to continue provide support for them?" he asked, handing her back the clipboard. As Revil's secretary, she was willing to act upon any order.

"Yes, I remember general calling them a Newtype crew. The next stage of evolution for mankind, otherwise there are no suitable explanation for their amazing abilities up until today. I want to see as well, how they will end up. And we must not let the Argama cheaply be defeated by CRADLE. Excuse me then, I shall take my leave." she bowed and headed out as well. There was an awkward gap of silence afterwards.

UC 0079, November 7, 12:00 PM, Odessa Base

BGM

The alarm sounded throughout the entire base, from across the horizon, hundreds of Federation forces began to flow into the battle area of Odessa. Although expected, the people in the base seems to be so much more prepared than how they would normally be. Knowing exactly where the Federation will attack, CRADLE's MS began to flood out of the base as well. The Federation forces mainly consisted of type 61 tanks and Flymat fighter jets for aircraft support. From a far, there were long ranged shells bombarding the battlefield. Although it was the highlands, due to the heavy mining industry of Odessa, much of the land was turned arid and dried, it can sometimes be seen as the desert.

Unable to fight back effectively against CRADLE's MS troops, the Federation forces can only wait to be slaughtered. This was what most of CRADLE's soldiers thought. The tanks fired in rows to prevent the CRADLE's Zakus from approaching, though their efforts were easily wasted when enemy MS merely side stepped across the attack, the canopy did not turn in time for the cannon to catch up to the green cyclop's movements, when the Zaku reached the tanks, they can stomp on it, cut it down, fire at it from above, there were all sorts of ways to deal the finishing blow. M'quve sat back in his office watching the battle, he was confident that Odessa will never be lost under any circumstances. One of his subordinates knocked on the door and came into his awfully old fashioned office. "Colonel, we have detected the a signal that does not belong to our forces behind the lines of our base. It is most likely the trojan horse." he reported.

"I see, well then. No worries, I have prepared a card to deal with that as well. Tell our "guests" where you spottted their signal, and have them wait there. Remember to tell them not to move unless the trojan horse does." M'quve relaxingly told his subordinate, the soldier bowed and walked out of the room. The commander with a long face, sly as a fox smiled and flicked his transparent turquoise colored vase.

To contrast that, General Revil was on the bridge of his Big Tray land battleship. Painted in an overall yellow paint job, spotted with patches of light gray, the Big Tray was indeed shaped like a tray. The rectangular shaped vehicle hovered past the land with hover jets, giving it mobility on many types of land. It had many turrets all around the body and two large cannons from the front of the hull. The bridge was at the top of the "tower" like structure of the ship. After hearing squadrons 3, 5, and 9 being totally wiped out, Revil was beginning to doubt. Everything is going too well towards CRADLE's favor, something might be wrong. Though, there is not much time to think about other things, other than how to defeat the enemy in front. Seeing the Zakus approaching, Revil clenched his jaws tight, aircraft was falling down from the skies one by one. However he knows this is not the end, but only the beginning. The loss so far is still within acceptable range, if the Federation is going to conduct such a large operation, then they must have some sort of a trump card under their sleeves. Revil is confident that this card will indeed bite CRADLE hard and deep, leaving a painful scar. "Main cannon, aim well! Even if they are MS, they are not enemies that cannot be defeated!" he commanded. The two main cannons on the front of the hull released two rails of shells, although missing most targets, one CRADLE pilot was not fast enough to react. The shell ripped past the Zaku like paper and destroying it.

"Thats the Federation's flagship...!! If I can crush that...I can...I can!!" a CRADLE soldier continued to push forward, the type 61 tank's main cannon are not strong and fast enough to prevent multiple MS from moving up, the wind blew hard as the blue sky was decorated with smoke. Dust filled the area, from behind the Zaku, CRADLE's covering fire from their Megalla Attacks and Gallop class land battleships bombarded the Federation again. The all out attack raged past the lands of Odessa. Taking aim with the Zaku's machine gun, from the side there were a few shells that smashed its rifle out of the mechanical hands of the Zaku. Although unfortunately taking a step back, the Zaku stepped on a landmine that created a large explosion underneath. Black puffy smoke covered his sight, the CRADLE pilot could not see properly, but he at least knew that the enemy was already within melee range. Puling out the heat hawk, he decided to slash down. The pilot was oblivious of what was concealed in the black smoke, thinking it was a 61 tank, but he was wrong. Something parried the Zaku's heat hawk, it was the Gundam's beam saber. But different...

"I...Impossible?! A mobile suit?!"

The Federation MS was not surprised at all, taking the chance that the CRADLE pilot let his guard down from the surprise, the white MS quickly lowered its arm and slashed from the waist of the Zaku. Like the Gundam's beam saber, it quickly melted into the armor of the Zaku, and ripping it in half with ease. RGM-79, or just easily called the GM, was the result and goal of V Project. The MS aboard the Argama were only test units to collect data, the real goal of the Federation was to mass produce the Gundam, and strike back at CRADLE.

From a far, shells rained from a few other Zakus that managed to charge forward and fire at the GM, although it has powerful weapons, it was still a low cost mass produced MS, being battered in the rain of shells, the GM could not continue to push forward. A few shots knocked it off balance, destroying its head. Without the main camera, the pilot could not properly observe his surroundings. The large MS lost balance and fell down on its back. However from the side, a blast of beam blew off an arm of another Zaku. Multiple units of the GM began to appear from the backlines, holding the beam rifle. After reports of the Gundam, the beam rifle was feared amongst the CRADLE barracks, a weapon that can easily destroy a Zaku in one shot is not something to be taken lightly. Now that the beam rifle is mass produced, this further lowers the chances of CRADLE's victory.

Although to reduce cost, the Gundam's powerful beam rifle is downgraded to a short ranged beam spray gun, it is not nearly as destructive, but nonetheless its still a beam weaponry. At close range it can even overpower the Gundam's rifle, by theory. The Federation taking the chances that CRADLE's morale was lowered by the appearance of MS, Revil ordered the second wave to charge into Odessa. Despite having MS, with Guntanks behind their lines, the Federation's forces are still mostly consisting of air crafts and tanks. However the sheer number of units was enough to overpower CRADLE. If a Zaku can defeat 3 tanks on average, the Federation now outnumbers CRADLE by at least 1:5, plus they have the "gem" of warfare now. Unlike before relying only on poorly built MA and ships, the introduction of a MS into the Federation exceeded their capabilities by far now.

"Hmm...Mobile Suit, cant believe that just a few units can turn the tide of war to this extent, the officers of CRADLE must be feeling this pace of victory a year ago, but this time it is our turn.." Revil nodded as he sat back a bit. Though something seems to be not right, Revil could not tell what it is, his years of experience on the battlefield tells him that there is something crawling behind their backs. His fear came true as his Big Tray, the "Badan" shook hard. Grabbing hard onto his seat, bracing for the impact, it seems like an attack from behind. "An attack from behind?! What happened?!" he asked, knowing that there should not be any enemies behind, since their backlines was secured by ally forces. Or it is suppose to be secured, if everything went according to plan.

"General, we are being attacked by our friendly units! That Big Tray belongs to Vice General Elran...!! It seems like Elran has betrayed and is now on CRADLE's side!! Incoming call from the traitor!!" the operator shouted. Revil told the operator to connect the call, Elran was a man in his 40s, though his face was full of wrinkles that made people think he was much older. His face was even longer than M'quve's and also his brows were somewhat bent inwards. Shows how often he frowns, but even for a person like that, he was sneering at Revil.

Revil, I think you should surrender now! Up until now you think your back was protected, but not anymore. Either I can shoot you from behind, or my "fellow" CRADLE forces can go and capture you alive another time. You ain't got a lot of time to think, so choose wisely. War does not end until someone wins, and how to win quickly? Of course it is to remove the head of the opponent, without you the Federation is nothing but junk, you should know what I mean...

The connection was quickly cut, Revil gritted his teeth in anger. But it was partly his fault for not noticing Elran's betrayal. "Curses to Elran, no wonder I feel that our plans are leaking from somewhere, so its his fault after all! A two front battle is too dangerous, the only way to win is to defeat CRADLE before Elran gets us!! All forces, begin charging, there is no turning back, be careful not to get shot from behind!!" Revil made a dangerous gamble, the Federation forces began to move at a quicker pace. If there is no way back then there is only one way forward. If they can secure Odessa base then everything can be solved. If they cannot, Revil's forces will be sandwiched by Elran and M'quve, then eliminated.

Luckily we only have a handful of MS that can be stationed around my Badan, otherwise it will be even tougher of Elran got a handful as well. Nonetheless there are still a few Guntanks around him, we need to hurry...!!

UC 0079, November 7, 5:52 PM

The weather on the mountains and highlands changes quickly, and so does the date. Even if it is only 6 at dusk, the sky was already murky black. The battle of Odessa seems to still be raging on, however the Argama crew and Silvia's Medea squadron rested on the east side of Odessa base. A place with no strategical purpose of any kind, Noa wondered why Revil stationed them there. There was an incoming call from Silvia, Tarues connected the called upon command. "Hey guys, seems like General Revil is in trouble. Because of the sudden betrayal of Elran, the General's forces is being attacked from both front and back..." she reported, Noa twitched an eyebrow, although knowing that betrayal can happen in war, but for a person just second in command of Revil to betray isnt something that can just happen and be forgotten.

"This is bad then. Should we immediately go to the general's reinforcements?" Noa asked, Silvia only shook her head and declined it.

"No, right after you guys left this morning, General told me to not let the Argama move from that spot. And by any reason you must not rendezvous with the main forces. I am not sure why General Revil gave such an order, but there must be a reason he can see that we cannot. So we need to stay here..." she continued, much oblivious to the Argama crew and Silvia, there is a powerful enemy that is about to approach them. Not far away from their position, rests M'quve and his "guests".

Although the front where Revil and the others were fighting was a endless horizon of desert, the other side of Odessa were hills of forests. Although not tropical, but the wind usually brings a deep scent of leaves. There were three men that held their pilot helmets under their arms as M'quve guided them out of the base. Although they were in the CRADLE's pilot suit, they looked so much different. Their normal suits were completely black with golden yellow linings around, their helmets even have spikes on them. Just by their appearance people can tell they were powerful aces. One of them put his elbow on M'quve's shoulders and laughed. His face was round and had a large amount of beard all the was from his cheeks to chin, thick and dark blond hair. M'quve brushed his elbows off his shoulders and frowned a bit. "Alright I got it. Captain Gaia, you sure only the 3 of you is enough to defeat the trojan horse?" he asked

"Hahaha! Well just sit back and watch, the battle in Odessa seems to be going on, we'll mop up the trojan horse quick and easy. Then go to the defense of Odessa...we're different from Full Frontal, you'll see why. Ortega, Mash, lets go!" Gaia laughed and put his helmet on. The other two followed. Ortega had a real large nose and a rectangular shaped face, with freckles all over his face. Mash contrasted Ortega, while his face is somewhat flat and with short black hair, he had a scar over his right eye. The two got onto their MS that was parked outside the base. MS-09 Dom, the heavy mobile suits newly developed by one of CRADLE's sponsors, the Zimmad company. Utilizing hover jets, the MS can maintain high mobility despite being very heavily armored. The first three units of the Doms were given to the fierce Black Tri Stars of CRADLE, the overall paintjob of the MS was black and dark purple.

Zipping past the forest at high speed, in between trees and over hills, the Doms quickly shuffled through the landscape of Odessa, beginning to search for the Argama. "Hmm? No metallic reaction, its strange but it must be somewhere up close. You two, we're leaping onto the next hill!" Gaia called out from the radio, the Dom's boosters let out a roar of force, the heavy MS took a small and low flight over the small hill and until the next one. Ortega and Mash's unit did the same, flushing out every possible place the Argama can possibly hide. However they did not notice, the Dom was caught in the metal sensors of the Argama instead.

The reaction was immediately sent to the Argama, as its radars picked up signals of three MS approaching them. "Captain, enemies approaching at 2 o'clock, theyre fast but unknown, they might be CRADLE's new model!" Taures reported, Noa glanced to the side and then back, the usual alarm flowed through the ship, Allen hopped up to his feet. He just finished the maintenance of the Gundam and wanted to have a rest, but seems like the enemy is not going to let him do so. Running towards the MS hangers, he ran into Sayla around the corner. She was already dressed up in her yellow normal suit. Just to be sure, Allen asked her why she is dressed up like shes about to launch.

"Youre slow Allen! Of course I need to dress up, because from yesterday I became the main pilot of the G-fighter! Lets go!" she smiled and closed the screen on her helmet. Allen tilted his head a bit and quickly ran into the men's lockers. While Allen was changing, Sayla already climbed up onto the G-fighter, Silvia poked her head inside the cockpit.

"Hows it going? Mm, not bad, seems like this machine fits you quite well. Theres no need to rush it, I see you two are getting along quite well too..." She smiled and winked, Sayla blushed a bit and nodded. Though Silvia did not see it through the screen of her helmet. She then looked around and changed a bit on the settings. "This might make your flight a bit smoother. In the end this G-fighter is the Gundam's support, dont expect too much from it. Lets finish this war fast and go back to our peaceful lives. You and Allen needs peace, because I know you two can make a great couple!" she left that and hopped down from the ladder. Sayla was not too sure about the last thing she said but, at least she believes that this war needs to be ended. Seeing the hatches open and Hayate's Guntank rolling out of the hanger, Sayla turned the system of the G-fighter on and closed the hatches.

Allen ran down the stairs and saw the Gundam lying down on its back, somehow the maintenance team did not stand it back up after the work just now. Well it was only easier climbing in, sitting down on the seat, Allen saw the ceiling right above him. Then seeing someone poking her head inside the cockpit as well. "Hey boy, I'm entrusting the power up parts to you this time. It seems like its going to work well, lets end this war quick so you can be in peace with Sayla~~" she smiled.

"...Ms. Silvia...I always wondered, why did you join the supply corps?" Allen asked, trying to shift away from the topic of Sayla. Not that he did not admit it, it was sometimes embarrassing to talk to Silvia like that, especially when she knows much more and maybe sometimes will even tease Allen about it. Silvia thought for a moment, and she just nodded.

"Maybe because its the only part of war that makes stuff instead of destroying..." she gave a plain answer, Allen was suprised at how deep this plain answer can mean. He knew there was not a lot of time left until the enemy approaches, but he still wanted to know more. Though when she said create, Allen saw a mirror image of himself, back at Side 7, building all his strange gadgets. He felt not pleasure in life at that time, and the only way he killed time at home was to make things that had no meaning. "I sometimes feel that humans cannot live just by simply fighting, but on the contrast if it was not war then our civilization might not be as advanced as we are right now..." Silvia continued.

Allen admired her even more now, not just as an older sister, motherly figure, but as an idealist he should learn from. Without anymore time, he decided to give a small good bye to Silvia, because after this battle, who knows when they can meet again. "I believe...you are a strong person, I'll head out now! Thank you very much, I have learned a lot!" Allen smiled, Silvia gave a smile and a flying kiss as the hatches closed. She hopped down onto the ground, this image burned into Allen's mind. Turning the Gundam's OS on, the screens of the MS lit up the dark concealed cockpit. Standing his unit up, Allen grabbed the beam rifle and shield hung on the wall of the hanger. The plan this time was the G-fighter and Gundam to be launched together. The catapult was ready, while the G-fighter's boosters were fully ignited. Stepping onto the back of the jet, the Gundam was ready to launch too. "Sayla! All green here, you ok?" Allen asked.

"No problem, ready anytime! G-fighter, Sayla Mass..."

"Gundam, Allen Ray"

Launch!

As soon as Hayate left the ship, he began to search for the enemies, grabbing the periscope behind his seat, he put it over his eyes. Paying attention to the heat sensors in case they pick up any signals, he calmly searched for the enemy. Knowing the enemies must be nearby, the Guntank was on standby to attack at anytime. Though slowly he drifted away from the Argama, knowing tanks find trouble in the forest, Hayate refrained from entering the sea of trees too deeply and remained on guard. Suddenly from between the trees, a bazooka shell flew out. Hayate's reaction was quick, since there was still some distance between him and the shell, he quickly pulled his joystick back towards him. The Guntank's tracks swiftly rolled over the ground as the bazooka shell smashed onto the ground causing a small explosion. "Ugh...where did it come from?!" Hayate was much surprised, the enemy was not only fast, but it hit very hard.

The moment, he caught sight of the enemy, Hayate hit down the fire button. From the cannon on the shoulders, two rails of shells zipped through the air towards the Dom. Gaia sneered at the attack and quickly slid out of the way. The Dom slided past the ground like ice skaters, behind Gaia's unit, Ortega's unit came with not the bazooka. While Hayate wanted to turn around and shoot at the Dom, he noticed that he was done for already. Two units surrounded him, Gaia's Dom ran past him however. With the bazooka hooked on the back of the Dom's unit, Ortega drew his heat saber. The long pole-like blade lit up in high heat, the Dom slashed past the Guntank, throwing its back cannons off. The attack was not finished, Mash's unit appeared behind Ortega and fired a bazooka shell at its tracks. Hayate felt the impact hard as the Guntank lost balance. With its tracks destroyed, Hayate cannot even move now. When Mash passed, his Dom knocked the Guntank over with its steel elbow and had the helpless MS lying down on its side. Hayate wanted to cry at how powerless he was, the enemies were indeed powerful aces, but he was frustrated at himself. "Damn!! How weak am I...I cant even slow them down...!!" he smashed his hands on the screen of the computer in anger. He could do nothing but fall under the perfect coordination of the Black Tri Stars, that did not even see him worthy to kill.

"Ortega, Mash, dont worry about their MS, we'll hunt down their ship first!" Gaia ordered, continue to shuffle through the forest. The battle just now Allen caught sight of the Doms, however they were too quick for Allen to get a good aim on. Turning the night vision on, the Gundam on top of the G-fighter scouted across the area.

Allen, sorry about that. I cant even slow them down, be careful...they're not ordinary pilots!!

Hearing Hayate's call, this did not lower Allen's confidence, but instead encouraged him. No matter how tough the enemy is, he will and must defeat them. This is the only way Allen can stand up against enemy aces, if only he does not give up. From underneath, a bazooka shell flew up. Sayla gasped as she quickly tilted to the side. The G-fighter swiftly avoided the attack, as Allen adjusted his stance so the Gundam will not fall off. "Sayla, concentrate of piloting! Leave the firing to me!!" Allen encouraged, since the Gundam has control over the G-fighters beam cannons. "These cannons are three times more powerful than the Gundam's beam rifle, but its useless if I cant catch them...!! Ah!!" spotting an enemy attack even before Sayla can, Allen turned the radio back on.

"Sayla, step on the flaps harder! Make the U-turn!! You can do it like last time, pull the joystick towards yourself as hard as you can!!" he shouted. Hearing such encouraging words, Sayla felt much more comfortable. Applying more force on the acceleration paddle, and pulling on the joystick with all her might, the G-fighter launched higher into the sky and avoided the attack from beneath. Turning around and making a U turn, Allen took that chance and fired the large beam cannon. The blast burned past the trees and caused a huge explosion on the ground. But this explosion was not as large as a MS exploding, so Allen knows he missed. Another bazooka shell flew out from behind, Allen could not react on it fast enough, it blew the beam rifle out of the Gundam's hand, shattering it into bits. Turing the cameras around, he saw a Medea being shot down from the sky. "Medea? Who's unit was it...better not be Ms. Silvia's one..Sayla! I'm going down, watch yourself!" he called out. Pushing the Gundam forward, it white MS jumped down from the air.

However before it lands, Gaia's Dom sprung out from behind a tree and fired a 360 mm shell from the Dom's giant bazooka. Allen braced himself, quickly using the thrusters to boost to the side in mid air, although he knows that this might make the Gundam lose balance when he lands, he needs to quickly adjust his stance. "Huh? He avoided that one?!" much to Gaia's surprise however, the Gundam landed and quickly drew its beam saber. Slashing down at his target, the Dom began to move backwards using its hover jets. Trying to catch it, Allen fired the head vulcan of the Gundam. However the small vulcan shells only bounced off the Dom's thick armor doing no damage. Gaia's unit hid inside the trees again, while Sayla flew the G-fighter up high.

"Vulcan has no effect? This new model is tough..." Allen was ready to face the powerful enemy, just that he was not sure how many enemies there were. Judging from the fierce attack, he thought there should be around 5 or 6, or even more. Otherwise it cannot explain how Hayate was defeated so quickly, and how another Medea can be shot down so swiftly. Firing the long beam cannon from above, Sayla wanted to flush the opponent out, however she was naive. From behind, one bazooka shell flew out from the trees, although she was able to avoid this one, she did not know that this shot was only to force her to go into the position desirable for the second and third attack. A top of the hill, Mash's unit unleashed another shell, this time Sayla finally saw who she is fighting against, but it was all too late. The huge bazooka shell smashed against the rear engines of the G-fighter and the impact making it tumbling down from the sky.

Kyaaaaa!! ALLEN!!!

"Sayla...!! Sayla!! Reply!!" Allen was scared, what if she was killed in the crash, what if she did not survive even that explosion. So many questions ran through his head, but then calming down and looking at the radar, the G-fighter's signal was still there. Sayla only crashed landed, but she should be fine. In the end, both the Guntank and G-fighter were made by the same lunar titanium that makes the Gundam so tough, Hayate and Sayla should be safe at least. "Damn, theyre really tough...this landscape is a disadvantage, I need to move somewhere wider...!!" Allen muttered to himself, stepping on the Gundam's verniers, the white MS boosted out of the forest and landed on the ground. The area was wide open, and he saw his enemies charge out from the forest as well. Originally he thought there should be more, but he was wrong, the enemy might be even stronger than the tough he imagined.

"Cap, theres the rumored white MS of the Federation, shall we go at it?" Mash asked Gaia over the radio, being the Black Tri Star's captain, he is not only a skilled MS pilot himself, but also a experienced commander that earns the trust of his two team mates. Approaching the Gundam, seeing it not firing back and being cautious, he grinned a bit.

"Heh, well we'll see if it really lives up to its rumors. Ortega, Mash, lets give it a shot with Formation A, get in positions!" Gaia called back, the three Doms lined up in 1 vertical line, with Mash's unit eclipsing the other two behind. Firing from a far, the bazooka shell went flying towards the Gundam. Allen quickly evaded the attack and seeing the Doms approaching quick. Noticing it was the hover jets under its legs that gave it so much mobility, Allen was extremely cautious in his approach. However if he does not counter attack then nothing will happen. Allen countered with his beam rifle, however at this moment the triple Doms quickly spread out wide and eventually surrounding Allen. Circling around the white MS, it gave considerable pressure to the Gundam. Even more so when none of the three units fired, only sliding in circles around the Gundam, like a patch of wolves hunting for its prey.

"These guys, are using formations...what do they plan to do...?!" Allen fired another shot from his beam rifle, the blast was quickly evaded without effort, the cameras cannot follow up to one target quick enough. From the side, one bazooka shell came at the Gundam, blowing its beam rifle out of its hand. The rifle smashed onto the ground and exploded into nothing. Allen gasped, wondering where the attack came from, but he has no time to think much more. Since another bazooka shell was coming at him from a front. With no time to evade, he can only put the Gundam's shield up to protect himself. Knowing at this stage of the war, this shield would not take a lot of hits anymore, still better than taking a rocket to the chest. The Dom's giant bazooka shell has a width of 360 mm, far more powerful than a Zaku's. Remembering how a Zaku's shot made a hole in the Gundam's tough shield, this one might as well blow the entire shield away. As Allen thought, the shell exploded onto the red painted shield and blew half of it away. "I got to move...god knows what these guys can pull out!!" clicking on the touch screen, the Gundam automatically drew its beam saber while the other hand was still holding the half of the shield that remained in tact. Stepping on the acceleration, the Gundam's burners lit up bright and charged up at Ortega's Dom. Ortega quickly pulled back, but the Gundam out speeded its opponent even if they were on hover jets. Though this was also considered when the formation was invented, Mash's unit fired a bazooka from behind while Ortega moved away from range. Allen quickly side stepped past the attack, the shell flew into a mountain and exploded. The attack was not finished yet, deprived of projectilces, Gaia was confident that the Gundam's vulcan cannot stop a Dom, he sneaked from behind, charging up and wanted to give it a blow at point blank. "Behind...?! YAAAA!!" Allen's reaction was lightning fast, turning around slashing down, he got Gaia's bazooka before he could pull the trigger.

"Ngh...this pilot, isnt an ordinary one!" Gaia cursed, dropping the broken bazooka he pulled back, Ortega and Mash gathered behind their captain again, Allen readied to counter the next set of attacks. Seeing the Doms approaching, he jumped and took some distance. Gaia's Dom put its arm behind its back, grabbing onto the handle of its heat saber, but did not draw it yet. "Ortega, Mash, we're going to hit that MS with the Jet Stream Attack...!! Ready guys?" Gaia called out, signaling a powerful attack. His team mates cheared Yeah, as the Dom finally drew its blade. Lighting up in an orange heat, the Black Tri Stars pushed closer to the Gundam.

"Hmm? These guys, are they coming at me?" Allen had no idea what they were trying to do, but something is coming, thats all he knows. Gaia's Dom came at melee range, Allen is cut or be cut, he slashed down with the Gundam's beam saber. Gaia's Dom jumped out of the way, without even attempting to attack, because the real attack was from behind. The second Dom came up with a bazooka already pointing at the Gundam, Allen narrowed his eyes and reacted. Gasping at the attack, the Gundam quickly ducked under the shot as Ortega's unit passed as well. However this was not the end yet, the third Dom was for back up, in case the second attack was ever evaded. Allen saw a flash of lightning before his eyes, the enemy seemed slow, was it an illusion or what, but he caught his breath. "Ahh....this guy!!" ducking under the second shot as well, this time Allen countered, slashing up with the beam saber, he destroyed the weapon of the Dom as well. Ortega clenched his jaws and went out of the way. Allen jumped back to avoid the third attack by Mash from behind, that already surrounded him. Taking enough distance, he saw the three Doms getting into formation again.

"It'll work this time...Jet Stream Attack again!" Gaia ordered.

Seeing the Guntank and G-fighter both easily shot down, and the three Doms surrounding Allen, Silvia panicked. The Argama needs to move, otherwise the Gundam will be destroyed. However if the Argama moves, it will reveal their biggest weakness, as the three Doms originally intended to go after the ship instead. They were only forced to fight the Gundam since it will become a nuisance if they let it be. Silvia ran towards her Medea, thinking there must be something she can do to contribute, or at least add a bit of power into the fragile Argama crew right now. "It took them forever to get here and now we finally fixed the Argama, I cant let it get beaten up right here all over again!" Silvia muttered to herself as she pushed open the door to the cockpit of the Medea. "Lift off!" she commanded the pilot. The transport carrier plane's propellers on the wing slowly began to spin, as it lifted off from the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust underneath. The yellow plane did not escape, but went towards the battlefield with only a pair of machine guns, that was barely enough to protect it from enemy aircrafts. Let alone facing a MS alone.

The Black Tri Stars lined up again in one straight line, the front Dom, Gaia's unit put up the same pose as the first wave of Jet Stream Attack. The other two unit was concealed behind the first unit, so Allen could not see what exactly was their plan. Though from this pose, it seems to be the coordination attack just now. Since Allen saw what they could do just now, he was at least prepared for it if the same attack came at him again. Though it was not possible for the three to use the same attack, otherwise the surprise would be meaningless. As the Doms approached, Allen readied his unit and took a deep breath. His heartbeat increased in pace, being very careful of their movements. Suddenly from the chest of the Dom, the part that always looked like a light exploded in a bright flash of beam. It was far too weak to damage a MS, but the bright flash blinded Allen's sight for a moment. Since he thought it was an attack, Allen put up the half broken Gundam shield by reflex, but it was all too late. "Oh no!!" he shut one eye and narrowed the other from the bright light that filled his screen.

Although blinded for a while, Allen felt something coming at him. Believing in those instincts, he stepped on the flaps down hard, the Gundam jumped, this instant his sight range also recovered. But what awaited him was a bazooka shell. In mid air there was no way to avoid it at this range, the shield was also half broken so it wont do much. There was only one thing he can do, Allen's reflexes were lighting fast, in a flash, the Gundam stomped onto the back of Gaia's Dom, ducking down low, lowering its stance so the bazooka shell passed narrowly from its head. "What?! He used me as a spring board...?!" Gaia screamed in anger and was very surprised.

Thinking there was a third attack, Allen was ready, but from above the Medea charged in with its machine vulcans. The last Dom was hindered, Allen took this chance and thrusted his beam saber into and through the thick armor of the second Dom, Mash's unit. "Medea? Silvia-san?!" Allen gasped

Ortega's Dom however grabbed hold of the Medea from the bottom. As it jumped up and lifted up its steel arms. "You bastard!! We almost got him!!" Ortega raged, crossing both arms, the Dom slammed down and hammered on the Medea's cockpit. Crushing the transport plane's frail cockpit, sending it down into the forest. Allen saw that head on, suddenly a bloody image of gore ran through his head. He wanted to vomit, it was disgusting. Why was he seeing all this, even he himself did not know, nor wanted to know. But what is seen cannot be unseen, more so if that gore was someone he knew. Silvia was killed, only this he knew.

"Silvia-san...Silvia-san...SILVIA-SAN!!! You guys, did something youre not suppose to!! I'll make you regret it...!! Die! Die! DIE!!!" Allen howled, Allen pushed down on the joystick so hard that it almost snapped, the Gundam's beam saber was still stuck inside Mash's Dom, the Gundam applied force and slashed down, slicing the MS in half. The light swallowed and vaporized the pilot as the Dom exploded, causing a huge mushroom cloud from its generator meltdown. However soon, the Medea crashed and caused another explosion. Throwing the trees into a sea of fire, Allen with a tear dropping down from his eyes, grabbed two beam sabers and formed the beam javelin, hurling it as hard as the Gundam's output had. However it was all too late, the enemies, that he wanted revenge was already gone. He knew it would not do anything, but his fingers just would not stop pushing the firing button. Head vulcan shells flew all over, until nothing came out anymore. Allen smacked his head against the controls, so hard that his helmet screen almost cracked open. "I...couldnt protect her..." he regretfully lamented.

Sayla climbed out of the G-fighter, looking at the sea of fire. She felt endless pain from what just happened, not know why as well. Though all she knew was Silvia died, her eyes became watery as well, because Sayla respected her, as an older sister, or even a motherly figure. "Sorry...I couldnt do a thing to help..." she cried.

As the sun slowly began to rise, the crew of the Argama gathered on the deck, with Noa in the front. Not one person slept since last night, the damage against just three MS was way too large, but even more so, the mental damage for the crew was large as well. Silvia Santos, the "mother" of the Argama was killed in combat, if it was not for her supplies, the white ship would never have made it out of CRADLE's surroundings. If it was not for her encouragement, the crew, even Noa himself might have given up on hope. If it was not her guidance and advice to Allen and Sayla, the two would not have walked so close to each other, nor will they ever be able to pull out such harmonious combination with their units.

The scraps of Silvia's Medea, and the other units that was shot down by the Black Tri Stars, the only thing that is left from the yellow paint jobbed transport plane, was charred metal buried within the burnt barks of dead trees. As lifeless as it may seem, the scenery depicts the horrors of war, the frailty of human life. Allen understands all of it, not just Allen, maybe anyone that sees this will think of the same thing. "May their souls rest in eternal peace, to our brave warriors! One minute of silence to Silvia Santos and her squadron members, they will not be forgotten throughout eternity! Salute!" Noa saluted, the entire crew followed, everyone was silent. Allen's watery eyes was about to shed, however he cannot do so. He is a man, no matter what circumstances, he cannot shed tears in front of others. Even if he knew it was painful, even if he knew that some pride like this is meaningless compared to Silvia's life, but he still could not do so.

The minute was over, Noa and the other crew members began to return to their positions, Hayate nudged Allen for a moment, but there was no response, Sayla grabbed Hayate by the shoulder and pulled him back. She said nothing and only shook her head, the two walked away, leaving Allen alone on the deck, accompanied only by empty wind. The wind carries the smell of ember, painful memories of the battle last night, there was nothing but death and despair on the battlefield. How much longer will this sort of thing last, Allen thought to himself. War cannot be won by one person's efforts, he knows this. Even so, no matter how many MS he destroy, how many people he kills, there was not one sign of this war ending. It was as if the hellish days will last forever. Slowly, Allen turned around and walked back, before that, he gave one last glance at the ruins of the Medea crew. No words could come out, only a long empty stare.

The night dragged long but eventually gun fire from both sides died down. General Revil's forces was cornered by M'quve and traitor Elran's forces, however they still managed to slip out of the attack and set up a camp on the side of Odessa. Soon the fierce battle began once again, Revil's Big Tray must continue to push on, since their backs were being cut off by Elran's forces. Or so M'quve thought, therefore there was always a loophole in his formation. Most of CRADLE's forces gathered on the west side of Odessa fighting against the Federation, since they knew Elran will attack from the east. Elran was second in command of Revil, therefore nothing could be kept a secret from him, as long as Revil knows he knows. By providing every secret to CRADLE, Elran exchanged information for a position into the CRADLE army.

M'quve's command center was not his base, but the huge land battleship, the Dabude class battleship. It was CRADLE's answer against the Federation's Big Tray, having a length of 109 meters and total height of 44 meters, it was a total fortress with even more firepower than anything the Federation had. The main weapons of the Dabude-class is the two double barrel cannons. The cannons are mounted on extended apertures, allowing the rotating cannons a clear field of fire that extends more than 180 degrees. The cannons are so powerful that the Dabude requires braces to dig into the ground to prevent it from moving due to recoil. Having an overall design that looked like a four legged dinosaur, the bridge was mounted high up the "neck" of the ship, while M'quve sat in luxury, being totally confident that this battle will not be lost. "Huhuhu, the cards have fallen in place, but just in case I have prepared a trump card that will send all of you guys to hell. Though it would be nice if this battle can finish without using it, honestly I dont want to fire that as well..." he grinned as he watched the screen. The sneer on his face was immediately wiped out when he saw the Black Tri Stars, not doing what theyre suppose to.

The two Doms of the Black Tri Stars was stationed close by the land battleship, though there is only two of them left. In front was a grave, a cross made by newly cut wood stuck firmly onto the ground, with the helmet of Mash placed on top. The two Doms lifted their bazookas up and fired towards the sky. "The soul of Mash, float into the endless sky and eternal happiness!!!" Gaia called out with his cockpit open, Ortega did the same as well. The two did not have a happy expression, after losing one of their pilots. M'quve slammed his fist on the table and grabbed the radio.

"You two fools, for how long do you want to spend wasting time here! You couldnt do a thing to help sink the trojan horse and now youre here wasting ammo doing some sort of weird ritual?!" he harshly insulted, M'quve was not a pilot, he was a commander, and a politician, therefore he has no sense of chivalry of any sort. M'quve could not understand what Gaia and Ortega felt when one of their comrade was killed. Gaia glared back in annoyance, he grabbed his helmet and slipped it over his head.

"What a noisy guy, yeah right fine! Ortega, sortie! We're going to get revenge for Mash!" Gaia called out as the Dom's cockpit closed, he heard M'quve shout some more. Shouting about Gaia being wrong trying to get revenge for Mash and the fact they should fight for CRADLE, or more importantly Carissa, or something. Gaia could care less, and ignored his "commander". Even if M'quve was like that, he still was very loyal to Carissa, probably the only person that can keep him under total control. The two Doms booted up their hover jets and sped towards the same direction as last night, believing that the trojan horse was still in that direction.

"Captain! There is a reaction from the heat sensors, approaching at high speed from 4 o'clock! Most likely the enemies from last night!" Taurse called out, the entire night not one person slept on the Argama, everyone was tired but they still have to keep on fighting. Otherwise the next ones that will be shot down will be them. However, Noa seems more panicked than the others. He thought that CRADLE will most likely send aces and new models to the frontlines to fight the Federation's larger forces, and therefore enemies coming at the Argama will be reduced in numbers. However he was wrong, thinking it would be a number enough for Gundam and Allen to handle alone without support.

Channeling through the radio, he connected to the entire ship. "All crew members, fire battle phase! Gundam, Guntank, G-fighter, launch! Missile, horizontal row, fire! Main cannon prepare! Argama set sail, Rie, boot up the engines!" the captain shouted, seeing missiles began to fly past the window and the beam cannons on the Argama turning and adjusting their angle.

"Captain, we aint got enough time to repair the Guntank, we only just took it apart. Sayla's core fighter is down at maintenance as well, due to the shock from the crash landing last night, theres system error appearing here and there!" Sanders reported from the radio, Noa clutched his fists tightly as he remained to appear to be calm, however his heartbeat was increasing. The only unit that can fight off the Doms properly will be Allen, not that Noa does not trust him, just that the Argama needs to quickly go to help the Federation's main forces as soon as possible.

"Well switch it with Hayate's core fighter and have it launch, can you do it?" directing his voice at Hayate behind, the pilot nodded with confidence, Sayla remained in position as the CIC operator, recently she has been sortied with Allen, it was a long time since she sat back on the ship watching the battle. Although she wants to help as well, it was partly her being unskilled and crashing the G-fighter, or so she thought it was like that. Though she remembered something Silvia told her before the Doms attacked last night.

"Allen! Listen, I remembered something. Silvia-san told me that recently, the paths of the Medeas seems to be easily traced by the enemy, as if someone was leaking their position to the enemy. Be careful..." she warned, it might or might not have something to do with the rumored Elran's betrayal on the main forces, but she just wanted Allen to know.

Allen closed the screen and hatches of the Gundam and stood on the catapult, without grabbing a projectile, he thinks the Gundam could use more mobility against the agile Doms, he would just miss with shooting anyway. Though there was a weapon that caught his eye, hearing Sayla's words, Allen indeed began to think that something was going on, though there should be only a few ways for the Medea squad to be traced. "...I see, I'll bear that in mind. Hayate, lets go! Gundam, launching!" Allen requested, the catapult hurled the white MS high into the air. While for the past few days, Allen launched with the G-fighter, it really has been a while launching alone. Why does the sky seem so lonely, as pointless thoughts began to run through his mind, in the short time gap between launch and the Gundam landing. As he felt the impact, she shook his head and cleared his thoughts. "Silvia-san, I will become strong, and protect those that need me. I could not protect you, but I will not give up. Finish this war, and protect those that are dear to me, this is my battle!!" Allen scanned his surroundings, waiting for the Dom to appear. Unleashing the chain, as a giant steel ball with spikes landed onto the ground with a bang.

"Hey, dont crash it ok?" Sanders warned Hayate, since it was his first time flying in the G-fighter, the basic controls are the same as the Guntank, just that it will become an aerial warfare instead. Hayate only smiled and pointed thumbs up, as he closed the hatches on the cockpit. The mechanical arm grabbed the core fighter that was folded into a block, and placed it into the G-fighter, then the upper part of the G-fighter closed over onto the bottom part, connecting the two. Confirming the connection, Hayate turned on the system of his unit, it was indeed the same as before.

"No problem, I'm not launching to crash this thing! G-fighter, launching!"
