UC 0079, December 9, 9:30 AM, Side 6 Libot Colony

Ever since the construction of the bunch of Side 6 colonies, it has played a major role in efficiently maintaining the trade and commerce balance between Earth and the other colonies. Therefore it flourished as one of the richest sides in space, even richer than Side 3, home of CRADLE. Right after the war broke out, the president of Side 6, Thomas Platinar, declared neutrality. Therefore it remains one of the only two places in space untouched by the gunfire between the Federation and CRADLE.

13th bunch in Side 6, or more well known as Libot Colony was somewhat of an outlier for Side 6. Most of Side 6 is well known for business and commerence, while Libot stands as one of the countrysides that attracted many tourists. Standing out as a somewhat different area and separated from the other bunches, Libot's governing body was also an outlier within the council of Side 6. Normally when a battleship or any vessels carrying weapons dock into a Side 6 colony, they must be disarmed until they leave. However this place was the only exception. Of course the Federation was not aware of this fact, neither did the council of Side 6 notice this.

Flalagan Institution, established by professor Anton Flalagan under the heavy sponsor of CRADLE was established around mid April this year. On the outside it appeared to be a peaceful laboratory to invest new ways of improving agriculture. However deep down, it was an institution that was covered by a mist of darkness. This place was only known by certain officers in the CRADLE ranks, its researchers, and their test subjects. Its main purpose is to research about Newtypes, their possibilities, and create military weapons they can utilize.

"Newtype theory, a famous theory developed by the great intellect Zeon Aznable, where humans exposed to a new frontier in space will develop high spacial awareness. The next stage of evolution in humans, where they can surely understand each other, for mutual and eternal peace...or so they say...? In the end how did such glorious findings fall into the hands of warfare?" Full Frontal turned and asked the man in lab coat standing next to him. The name plate wrote Anton Flalagan, the chief of this lab. He was somewhat tanned in skin, speaking with an arab accent, his curly black hair and low voice left a deep impression in the masked commander's mind.

"Newtype emits a special type of brainwave, that we assume it gives them higher spatial awareness and faster reaction speed compared to an average person. But this brainwave's real power comes in the ability to control remote weapons, and most importantly it is not jammed by minovsky particles. Which is believed to be a valuable force in the world of MS battle. Colonel, I believe you have witnessed this unknown force can become a powerful momentum in battle too..." he replied, walking over to the scanner and began to type onto the keyboard. Brainwave sheets were being printed by the complex series of machinery next to him. Full Frontal turned his face and took a glance at the person wearing a strange device on their head, it was like saturn's rings being around their head and observing their brainwaves. "Congratulations Colonel, Newtype lab's specimen 02, Villian Elisard's adjustments are complete. She has amazing potential as a Newtype, just as we expected of Villian-sama!" the professor let out a thumbs up.

"Villian-sama, how do you feel?" Frontal walked up and smiled at her. The princess of CRADLE's royalty and youngest daughter of the three, Villian Elisard seems much too not suited for the military. Let alone being on the battlefield. "Though is it fine? You are one of the most important members of CRADLE, is it really fine for you to join CRADLE though a manner like this? You can become my superior if you want..." Frontal then continued, his expressions was not expressed properly under his mask, but Villian felt a strong sense of care and worry from him.

"Its fine, as long as it is Colonel. I do not want to rely on my family on this matter, because I cannot stay unrelated, and watch people get killed because of me. You are one of Garma's best friend, I entrust myself to you. And also, right now I am only at a rank of ensign, I should be the one showing respect to colonel..." she smiled, though not wearing proper CRADLE uniform, she wore a green one piece clothing over her CRADLE uniform. The thin cloth swayed in the air along with her long blond hair. Unlike normally when she was around in the palace, Villian did not wear her crown, and the pants of her uniform was replaced by a long skirt. Her emerald green eyes and white skin showed her high status, as if the jewelry of CRADLE. "Also...you wore that, thank you for listening..." she blushed a bit, looking away from her 'captain'.

Frontal smiled and grabbed her feminine hands, helping her up to her feet. The weak princess was much not suited for combat, she has not received proper military training, but only the instructions of how to pilot a MS. Though looking at her stats and report, Frontal was shocked at how skilled she is. Frontal was somewhat different today, he has a strange looking helmet, made of glittering titanium steel. Apparently it was given by Villian, that was one of the valued items of the Elisard family for the years. Worrying about her commander that does not even wear a normal suit on the battlefield, she hope Frontal at least wore something that protected his head.

For once, Frontal felt regret for what he done to Garma, maybe it was wrong to have done that...

Why can she be so kind to me, why does she worry about me from her heart? Most importantly, how do I know she is really worrying?

Frontal looked at her from the side of his eyes, this was covered under his mask, but Villian turned to him and smiled. The masked commander's eyebrows twitched a bit, but just smiled back. Frontal was hesitating, is it fine to accept the benevolence from her. Knowing what he did to Garma, Frontal felt guilty even standing next to her. Maybe his vengeance against the Elisard family was wrong, and there are good people amongst bad families after all. "Seems like...I ought to rethink some things, probably..." he murmured to himself.

"Hmm? Did you say something colonel?" Villian tilted a bit and looked up, Frontal just shook his head and turned to the screen. Looking at the designs of the new MA that will be given to Villian in the close future, he then looked at the stats of all the test subjects that came through this lab. Indeed, Villian's stats came second in the many test subjects, and many did not even have a bit of talent as Newtypes. Slowly Frontal began to have interest in his own capabilities as a Newtype.

"Villian, I have to do some checking with the new MS that was just shipped here yesterday, you can return to the cottage if you want." Frontal changed the topic, but Villian refused to do so. She wanted to stay with him, hearing that Frontal's eyes narrowed. This was not like the time with Garma, there was something about Villian that attached her to Frontal, it was not just a blind trust or envious of power. But it was something Frontal has yet to understand. "I see, then lets go. I'll try to be quick with it..." he continued. As the two walked down the stairs to the garage that was located in the basement. The large garage was partly modified as a MS hanger, enough to fit 2 or 3 MS and a MA.

Since this is an agriculture colony, space was somewhat free and transport planes can land in the open easily. Therefore the lab has no problems in transporting their findings to the frontlines. The other half of the garage served as a factory to produce small amounts of mobile weapons. There was a half finished MA, still not properly painted and put together. Though Frontal's attention was directed towards the new modeled MS sent here a day ago. "There it is...MS-14 Gelgoog, CRADLE's first MS to hold a portable beam weaponry...with this I can finally fight equally against the Gundam..." Frontal walked up to the silver MS, the maintenance chief ran up, standing up straight, he saluted.

"Good morning colonel, the basic adjustments for the Gelgoog is complete. Now the only thing left is for colonel to personally adjust its settings and we modify the machine according to those adjustments." the maintenance chief respectfully explained, Frontal only glared up at the silver MS, but just looking at it he can feel that it can go up to the Gundam equally.

"Fine, I'll do that now so you can get the final adjustments finished by these 2 days. Oh and also, dont forget to repaint this thing!" the latter was ordered strictly as Frontal refused to get on anything that was not painted red. Villian only smiled, that smile did not disappear as long as she was nearby him. Seeing Frontal being carried up by the elevator into the cockpit, she waved at him from underneath the giant.

December 9, 9:30, South America Jaburo satellite orbit

Allen threw himself back onto the bed, it has been several days the Argama was launched back up to space. He was somewhat relieved to see Sayla gain her senses back, while she and Hayate are slowly rehabilitating so they can get back into action when they are needed. Even so, right now Allen is the only one that can launch and fight anyone that might attack this white trojan horse. Yet, for nearly a week they were trailed by a certain CRADLE vessel from a far. The low gravity in the gravity block kept Allen on his feet, but nonetheless things will start floating from the slightest push.

Noa tapped his cheeks, while resting his head on his arm, staring silently at the screen. The Argama was given orders to return back up to space, but not specifically what to do. And now they are being trailed and slowly approached by a CRADLE Chibe-class battleship from behind. Noa was cautious to not take the initiative against the enemy, because knowing the current situation, the Argama was very fragile to battles. It would be wise to reduce the amount of fights to as low as possible. In addition the enemy seems to have no intention of firing, at least for now. Otherwise they would of done so long ago, but not just trailing them for a week. "Are they waiting for something? Or are they just following us to keep an eye on our movements?" Rie asked, not taking her eyes off the radar and the rear camera, that got clear sight of the red CRADLE battleship.

"Well, we probably will never know. Its not even scattering minovsky particles, maybe its waiting for a chance to finish us off. Either way we cant outrun that ship easily, it'd be better we stay still here and wait for them to make a move, so our choices of a counter can widen." Noa gave a dull reply, although it might sound dumb, but probably it is the best choice to stay and observe. However, it was as if there was a supernatural force called God, that made the Argama crew think this way. The Chibe-class battleship finally made its move.

"Captain, minovsky particle density increasing! High energy approaching, missile coming!" Taures called out, the alarm ignited a red glow past the hallways, screeching through the corridors of the Argama. Allen immediately jumped to his feet, it was about time for the enemy to attack. The sudden turbulence threw him into a wall, but thanks to the low gravity he kicked across it and stumbled out of his room. "Runway 2 badly damaged! Main deck damage!" Taures continued to report the casualty on board.

"Doesnt matter! Not like we have anything else other than the Gundam to launch! Theres no time to turn around, deploy the Gundam and retreat at full speed!" Noa called, only seeing a huge shadow being launched out from the Chibe, it was a yellow MA with sharp sickle like claws. Its huge "mouth" opened wide as there was a scatter mega P cannon armed inside. Vicious fangs were decorated around its 'mouth' and its cameras were buried deep within the two sinister eyes of the machine. Two large boosters gave it huge speed that quickly charged at the Argama. The overall look of this MA invoked fear in the Argama crew, even Noa was faltered against this. "Rear missile, fire! Dont let that thing approach!!" he called.

A net of missiles went charging at the yellow MA, it was called the MA-04X, or more commonly known as the Zakrello. Despite being fielded, it was actually one of the earliest models of CRADLE's experimental MA that was deigned for space combat. The Zakrello unleashed its scatter beam against the barrage of missiles that approached it, shooting some of the explosives down while others were caught in the explosion as well. Though there were a few that managed to slip under the scatter beam released by the MA and directly hitting it on the yellow painted armor. The Zakrello did not care for small damage as its speed was not hindered. Using its sickle like blades, it dented into the Argama's side and scratched a huge scar into the side of the ship. "Dimitri! I dont want to be made of a fool by that damn M'quve anymore, you better sink that ship!! Counting on you!!" the captain of the Chibe shouted, even if the radiowaves did not reach the MA.

The name of the captain on the Chibe was Cosone. He was chubby and impatient middle age man at the end of his 40s. Due to him being just a rank lower than colonel M'quve, he is often made an idiot for his inferior tactics compared to the sly colonel himself. Coscon had curly black hair and a mustache that resembled Hitler, and a thick beard. Overall his tactics are not too bad but they follow the rules of the book too tightly that makes it easily seen through. This point has not only be pointed out by M'quve, but also Carissa herself. Nonetheless Coson had faith in his own strategies so he finally managed to rent the Zakrello off his colonel and assault the Argama. Up until now, he has accurately predicted the placements of the Argama, so far so good, probably.

Dimitri was a loyal solider, not to his captain, but to his nation. He believed that only by CRADLE defeating the Federation, will there be a future for spacenoids like him. Therefore he volunteered as a soldier, and was trained in piloting MA. Originally he came from a family that produced excellent jet fighter pilots, the controls of a MA was awfully alike in some senses. "For my nation, for CRADLE, please sink here!" he muttered as the screen displayed the Argama being sliced from the side. The Zakrello passed the white ship, the huge impact tilted the Argama nearly 45 degrees.

"Uwa..!! Its bad like this...!! Gundam, launching! Everyone move out, I'll open the hatches myself!!" Allen saw that the machines were being thrown around in 0G as the Zakrello passed. Taking a step forward, the Gundam reached out at the large handle attached on the wall and pulled it down. The hatches slowly opened, while the maintenance crew quickly put on the harness. Allen saw a huge blast of beam go past as it just missed the Argama by inches. Even so the armor of the ship was burnt black.

Stepping on the flaps, the Gundam jumped out into the empty space. Once again, Allen found himself surrounded by a starry ocean, with several flashes of death. The blue planet was right under his feet, but he has no time to appreciate its beauty. The fierce MA is approaching, Allen braced himself as he quickly ducked under the twin claws of the Zakrello. "Whats that?" he was surprised by its looks, whether it was meant to be a sign of fear or mock, nonetheless it was a design Allen has yet to see. The MA made a huge U-turn with amazing speed, this moment Allen noticed something, but he was not confident enough to be sure.

The scatter beam came from a far, the Gundam slid in between the large gaps of the beams, due to it being too spread out from a distance. However what followed was a barrage of missiles. Putting his shield up, Allen blocked the attack, but caused a large smokescreen that covered his sight. Suddenly, Allen wanted to vomit. He had no idea what was going on, but he only saw a blur within his eyes and the countless shining stars become a smear of white. His insides were making an unpleasant sound, as the pilot almost puked inside his helmet. When Allen came to his senses, he noticed that the Zakrello's claws dented inside the Gundam's shield and hooked his MS onto the MA.

The Gundam did not nearly have as much resistance towards the acceleration of the MA, the sudden increase of speed nearly knocked the teenage pilot out. But Allen held onto himself, unlocking the shield, the Gundam dropped its measure of defense as it floated around in space. Shaking his head hard, Allen pulled off his helmet and threw it behind his seat. The Zakrello did not turn around however. This time Allen was totally sure. Despite being fast, the Zakrello did not have the agility to avoid attacks properly. Aiming at the two boosters, Allen fired his beam rifle. The beam pierced through the MA's thrusters from behind, causing a chain explosion, halting the entire MA's function. "Ha...In the end, youre not as tough as you look...or I guess so..." he panted.

With a well placed final shot, the beam speared the yellow MA through the main body, destroying its generator. The meltdown caused a huge explosion and destroying the MA.

"The destruction of the enemy's MA confirmed, Chibe class retreating...seems like they given up..." Taures slumped back down and let out the stress on his shoulders. Seeing the Gundam flying back to the Argama, Noa felt a shiver down his spine. He knew Allen can now fight on par against an ace pilot, but he did not execpt Allen to be able to fight off a MA like that in such a short amount of time. Something is growing inside the young soldier, a powerful force far beyond the imaginations of anyone on board. "Captain, the maintenance team's damage report is here. Seems right deck and engines 2 and 3 are badly damaged. We cannot continue to go very far like this. Also in order to repair it, we must stand still...that means..." the operator continued.

"......." Noa was silent for a while, knowing very well what Taures meant. It means that they have to flee inside a colony or something. Even after a few days they have not gotten any orders from the Jaburo yet. And already they are being attacked like this. Despite the battle being short and swift, the Argama was hit fairly badly from the Zakrello's attacks. "We have no choice, Rie, turn Argama around, we're heading for Side 6..." Noa was hesitant in giving this order, but he just cannot think of anything better than this way.

"Side 6? Captain, please rethink...that really isnt a place we can drive our ship in..." Tarues warned, Noa knew very well that by moving into Side 6, it means the Argama must disarm itself and pay huge taxes for moving in.

"Yeah, we can give them all the money they want, and disarm ourselves, but we have to get the Argama fixed somewhere. CRADLE will come again, thinking of this ship's safety, there is nowhere but Side 6 that can be safer. To be honest that place can be safer than anywhere except Von Braun in space. Lets move it...I dont want to go there too, but we wont last like this..." the captain persisted in his orders, feeling the turbulence of the ship turn, the view of Earth quickly disappeared as the ship began to move. With 2 of its engines dead, it made an unpleasant sound every time the Argama marched forward.

"Captain, how about we move into the Libot Colony of Side 6? That place is a bit different from the rest of the colony bunches. And also, I know someone that is there and will be willing to help us..." Rie stammered a bit, somewhat feeling uneasy making this comment, Noa tilted his head and wondered why that was the case but naturally he had to agree. There were no reasons not to anyways.

Wandering around the ocean of stars, through the void of darkness, the blue planet became to get smaller every second the Argama moved forward. The wounded battleship traveled fairly slowly, stumbling across nothing. The atmosphere within the ship was heavy, no one knows when CRADLE will spot them and attack. To be honest the next attack they receive in this state would mean the end of this ship. Though despite the stiff air, the hanger was still as lively as ever. In order to not pollute the precious oxygen on board, all the machines used by the crew were powered by batteries. Large cranes picked up heavy parts of the units on board, slowly unloading a new unit that was not seen nearby before. Sayla's G-fighter was left untouched ever since the battle of Jaburo, as its pilot was injured.

Allen clicked around on the screen from the Gundam's cockpit. Running the auto system check again to make sure there is nothing wrong with the high tech software, he waited for the super computer inside the MS to finish its process. The dim cockpit was only enlightened by the bright light from the screen, then Allen opened the hatches to the cockpit, at the same time the cameras died off inside. Sliding his fingers around on the touch screen, the next check was hardware check. The system mainly scans malfunctioning parts and the more delicate electronics of the machine. But when the results came up, Allen blinked for a moment, unsure what to react to this result. Basically over a third of the joints are malfunctioning, this can mean two things. Either the system itself is malfunctioning, or all those joints are really not working. "How can this be...? This kind of thing is ridiculous, it was fine a week ago..." the young pilot muttered to himself, jumping out of the cockpit and landing on the steel roadway hung high up for MS maintenance. Flipping open the toolbox next to his feet, Allen grabbed a flashlight and the step ladder nearby. Kicking open the ladder, he hoped up and climbed onto one of the Gundam's arms. Turning on the flashlight, he carefully inspected. There was a grotesque smell of burnt rusted metal. "Chief! When was the last time you changed the parts for the joints? Why are they all worn out?" Allen shouted down from high above.

Sanders, the maintenance chief removed his cap and wiped some sweat with his sleeves, then looked up. Narrowing his eyes a bit to block out the strong light from the top of the hanger. "Thought we just changed it when we stayed in Jaburo? What the hell did you do to them? Those parts dont go worn out after a week you know..." he replied with his low and loud voice.

"Well theyre no good anymore, help me change them, thanks!" Allen saluted and continued to check for errors inside his MS. Somehow he did not notice that it was not because the joints are burn due to maintenance problems, but it is due to the very structure of the joints. They are not designed in a way to withstand Allen's growing potentials. Not even the pilot himself notices how hard he is pushing the Gundam above its limits.

After leaving the large scale operations to the maintenance team, Allen's job in the hanger is finished for that day. While floating down the hallways being pulled by a handle on a convener belt, he looked out the windows of the living blocks. A bunch of colonies are within sight, seeing this, Allen could not help but think back on his daily lives in Side 7. What would he be doing if CRADLE never attacked Side 7? Will he still be a bystander and watching people get killed while he whines about the war being unrelated? Killing people for whatever reason is not good, but being a bystander when you have the power to help is another story. Neither of the two can be considered ethically correct, and Allen did not want to do either of them. But if there is something Allen can do, then he will do it, this is the most important thing he learned these few months. Tomorrow will not come just by running away, tomorrow only comes when you strive and grasp it. The belt eventually reached the end of the hallway, and the handle retracted. By instinct Allen let go and have the handle be reeled inside the machine.

When Allen turned around, he saw someone standing on the other side. Sayla was up and already in her uniform, resuming normal duties. Allen was glad to see her fine, honestly his heart almost stopped beating when he saw Sayla badly wounded. "Hey...feeling better?" Allen gave a small smile, this is the best he can do in a situation like this.

"Yeah, Dr. Hassan said I have recovered enough to get out of bed and return to normal life. But he said I should not resume pilot just yet, at least not without his permission, hehe...thank you for protecting all of us alone again." Sayla floated up and smiled, Allen's heartbeat increased every inch she came up, no matter how small it was, Allen appreciated every word of thanks Sayla gave.

"Well, its not the first time I fought alone. More importantly, hows Hayate?" he asked again, somehow Allen just cannot be truthful to his own emotions, always finding excuses to cover up for his real thoughts. Looking away for a bit, Allen actually really wants to take a further step closer to her, but backed down instead.

"Hayate is all fine now, hes recovering faster than me. Hes already lifting weights and rehabilitating in the gym, under Dr. Hassan's supervision of course." she continued, Allen can somehow imagine the hard working Hayate slowly lifting the weights and slowly recovering from the bad wounds he received during Jaburo. Now thinking back, he new unit that looks awfully cheap that was sitting in the hanger, that might be Hayate's new unit, now that the Guntank was basically destroyed a week ago. "Also, I heard from Noa-san, we might get permission to go off board when we arrive in Side 6." she added, Allen was awfully happy to hear this.

As the Argama approached the coastal territories of Side 6, they immediately got a warning from the security of Side 6. "Understood, our destination is Libot Colony, we will abide by the rules of disarming ourselves after we enter the harbor." Taures replied at the warning, there seems to be no guard against the Argama. Seeing the battered ship, most people will think it is a ship that just came into Side 6 to avoid any further combat.

"Rie, I wonder how you managed to get to know a government official in Side 6. I know this place is somewhat conservative and that..." Noa suddenly asked, seeing the connection was already cut off from the control tower of Side 6's security. The young navigator however, was a bit shocked by the sudden question like this. Rie did not try to hide anything, but she did not like to discuss too much about her past, because she did not have a good impression of it.

"Well, that guy's name is Cameron Bloom. As you have probably suspected, I am the only daughter of the CEO of Kouzuki Enterprise. And he is my fiancee..." Noa's brows twitched a bit when he heard that, but it was to no surprise that such a high ranking daughter will have arranged marriages. "But I dont like that person. He always think the war is unrelated to him and he fled to Side 6. Of course I could of used my position as the CEO's daughter to leave the Federation and flee with him, but I cannot take this kind of irresponsibility..." she continued.

Noa did not expect her to say so much, but he understands. Thats why he appreciates her. The bridge remained silent for the remaining of the journey though, silently as the Argama slipped into the harbor of the so called Libot Colony. No one on board however, was aware who else is in this place.

The automatic door slid open, a man in his mid 20s, dressed in neat suit walked in. Two bodyguards followed him, the bridge crew all stood up and showed the amount of respect he deserved. He had a long face, not very good looking, did not give any sense of charisma or any kind. Wearing a pair of round spectacles, he walked up to Noa and offered him a handshake. "Hello, my name is Cameron Bloom, I am the governor of this Libot Colony...although we would like to welcome you with warm arms upon entering, unfortunately, as you know this is a neutral area. Normally we would have to take very high taxes from you, but seeing you as a friend of Rie, it is fine. However we still want you to disarm and restrain all weapons, including mobile weapons. Please abide by this rule during your stay and have a great time. You are free to repair your ship, we have duty free supplies for sale. If you need anything call me anytime." Noa accepted the handshake while he continued his long explanation. This is more like a business than anything

Like a salesman, he turned and looked at Rie with a warm smile. The two walked to a corner and began to start a topic Noa had no idea what they were talking about. Taures was fairly uninterested in other people's affairs so he sat back down and started to check the software of the machine. The Argama was dead silent and the engines completely shut down. There is no need to worry because as long as they are within Side 6 and following the rules, CRADLE cannot attack them. Strictly speaking the Federation would prefer the Argama not to do so, but Noa intentionally did not report such thing for the better of the crew. Biting his lower lips, he eyed Rie with her "finance" gossiping about this and that, while she put up a weak smile, very troubled by this person. Noa did not have the right to step in, he was nothing more than a commander to her, this made Noa very frustrated for some reasons.

"Rie, lets get off this ship. Come and live with me here! There is no reasons for you to be fighting this dangerous war!" Cameron warned. He grabbed Rie on the shoulders and rocked her a bit, she flung her elbows around and brushed his hands off.

"No Cameron, I am not getting off...sorry, there is too much I have to do for this ship. If I leave then who will be their navigator? Cameron you know, we cant all just drop our responsibilities like that, and this is the one thing that I really dont like about you..." she rebutted, Cameron was a bit shocked to hear this. Rie about a year ago, will never have words with such sharp meaning hanging around her mouth. But now, she is a full fledged Federation soldier, everyone on this ship that lacks crew member has a role, not one of them can be missing. And this is no exception for the navigator, because no one else other than her can pilot the Argama on board. Noa cannot hear what they were muttering about properly, but he only bitterly watched the two from a distance. Over the days, he developed a liking for Rie, when he heard that she already had a fiance, somehow Noa was ready to drop his bags and give up.

Allen and Sayla drove the solar battery powered car down the roads, it has been months since they breathed in the unpolluted fresh air of the colonies. Libot Colony is a heavily agricultural colony, unlike the other bunches of Side 6 which mainly focused on industry and commerce. The fresh air mixed with a thick smell of nature filled the nostrils of the two pilots. Taking a deep breath, letting the cool wind brush against their faces, it really reminds them of the days back at Side 7. It was an age where even high school students can get drivers license, Allen slowed down a bit while they passed a huge lake. "Cant believe they let us off so easily...it took forever for the Federation to even unload their own carrier at Jaburo..." Allen muttered while enjoying the beautiful scenery that will never again be seen on Earth.

"They say the governor of this colony is Rie-san's fiance or something, maybe thats why we are granted so much freedom." Sayla replied, looking to the side. She is more interested in seeing Allen than the lake. Being asleep for a few days, she felt fairly lonely, though oblivious that Allen visited her every day. The two were still in their Federation uniform, not like they had any other fashion. Left of them were endless fields of farms, this colony really gave the atmosphere of the rural areas. Ironic that this Libot Colony is more rural than any part of Earth, while everyone has a good standard of life. Each farmers were rich, and lived in fairly good mansions. Unimaginable on Earth again. "This is it, thanks for driving me here. Allen go relax too, lets meet here again after an hour or so." Sayla pointed out.

Allen tenderly put his foot on the breaks as the car halted. Grabbing a map and a shopping list, Sayla hopped off the car and waved good bye. Seems like she wanted to go to a supermarket to get something. While it is a rural area, the civilians in this colony are modern people that needed supermarkets and theaters and basically everything can be found in a city is found here. Seeing Sayla disappear into the building, Allen decided to go for a drive around the lake. It is a good chance to relax a bit, since he has been fighting all these days.

Though the young pilot heard thunder rumble in the background of the holographic sky. Knowing it was not real, but it signaled that it is time to rain. The sky slowly darkened, just now Allen noticed that this car does not have a top. Stepping the acceleration, he spotted a small cottage just by the lakeside. Unsure who was the owner of this very antique feeling wooden house, he decided to go hide from the rain over there. Parking the battery car under a tree, Allen quickly ran towards the cottage as small raindrops began to fall. "What misfortune...why must it rain just when im about to relax...!" he cursed as he hopped onto the wooden cottage hallways. With hallways opened to the wild like a traditional european cottage, Allen waited under the wooden structure, hoping the rain will pass soon.

The sound of raindrops smacking against the commonly used wood of the cottage, Allen was still wondering. Despite being in a rural colony, cottages made 100% of wood is still fairly rare. Then suddenly he heard a sound from behind the hallway. It was obviously not the sound of a raindrop. It sounded like a glass being put upon a table, maybe it was the owner of this cottage. Allen had manners, he knows it will be rude to enter the cottage without permission, even if it was open and it was raining. Turning around the corner, he saw that this cottage was actually facing the lake. There the two meets, eye to eye.

The owner of this cottage was a noble lady, her azure eyes were like gemstones, her pale white skin were like untainted milk, her blond hair tied back dangled like silk down onto her shoulders. Having a glass of juice on to the small wooden table beside, she put down the book that she was reading and eyed Allen. She had a straw hat on her lap, wearing a silky one piece green dress that went up to her knees. Allen immediately backed down, he was much surprised by the noble lady's looks, but somehow he did not feel any fear. The young pilot only bowed. "Ah, hello. Sorry for the sudden intrusion but...do you mind if I stay here until the rain pass? My name is Allen, would you please introduce yourself?" he politely question.

Allen was not good at history nor politics, so he had no idea who this person is. He saw Carissa Elizard on TV when she made a speech for Garma, but he had no idea who the other two sisters were. Although he somewhat knew that queen Elizard II had three daughters and a son, Allen had no idea and was totally uninterested in knowing about them, as long as they dont join into the war that is. But in all truth, the person that is sitting in front of him, is the third daughter herself. Bearer of the quality of virtue, Villian Elizard only smiled. "Hello, I dont mind. You can stay here as long as you like, this way I might be less lonely too. Nice to meet you Allen, my name is Villian" she smiled. Allen felt warmth in his heart, he had little knowledge of why he felt like this, but Allen feels that he can understand her.

Up until this point, neither of the two had any idea what this faithful encounter will lead to...

Time flies when youre having fun, it appears that this phrase is totally correct. Allen and Villian had conversations after conversations, even Allen himself did not understand why he can speak so openly and freely. He has nothing to hide, she has nothing to hide, or at least neither of them attempted to hide anything. Allen has not even been able to talk to Sayla or Hayate this openly before, but what is this feeling. Villian has not even been able to talk with her sisters this openly before, but why is it feeling so warm inside her chest.

So this is how you feel...when you understand each other...

Both of them were thinking of the same thing. There were no barriers between the two, even if they just met less than an hour ago. "Hmm...so Villian has never left the colonies? Well I cannot say much about that, just a few months ago I never thought I would leave the colony, but as you see...the war is spreading all over the places, even this Side 6...cannot be 100% safe." Allen gave a very sad face when he described his experiences in war.

Villian was naive, she knew little about the world. Although she knows Allen's uniform was the one of a Federation's, she did not care. Before she separates the world into Federation and CRADLE, Earthnoid and Spacenoid, she sees nothing but human in everyone. Everyone is equal, there is no need to fight amongst each other. She was first reluctant of joining CRADLE, but even she noticed, if there is something she can do to help end this war even a second quicker, she will do it. "But I really hope there is someday, when there is a world and everyone can live in happiness. There is no point in making war, why cant we just sit down and talk through it...? But I understand...but even so, fighting is wrong."

"Villian..." Allen looked down to the fragile girl that was about to break into tears, the rain will not stop. The cloudy weather and humidity, falling across the watery lake created a mirage that carved into Allen's mind. She is truly a kind person, her white pale skin was not dirtied in anyways. They were not like Allen's that was covered with blood. "I have decided. When I grow up, I will make a better world...so everyone can be like Villian!" Allen made an oath. He did not see the other side of this absurd dream, but if he reach his hands out, maybe someday he can touch the rim of it.

"Allen-kun...thank you. Lets make a promise...I will try to work hard for it too. And then, lets meet again when the world is a better place. Pinky promise!" her sad face immediately turned into a smile. Allen was a bit hesitant to do this, Villian is somewhat childish in some places too. But the young boy accepted it, the two fingers crossed, the promise is made.
