UC 0079, December 27, 12:48 PM

Flying through the empty space between Side 3 and Granada, Queen Elisard's ship was a Gwazine class named the Royal Elisard. While on the outside it looked like any other Gwazine class ship, the large crest that represented the Elisards were painted on the left side of the ship's deck to distinguish itself from the others. Normally it would be unthinkable for such an important ship, carry the Queen of CRADLE to be sailing towards the Federation's main fleet with only 2 Musai class escorts. But Queen Elisard was not there to fight. After hearing news that Villian Elisard have been killed in action, it was just too much for her old heart to bear. Its unnatural for children to go before their parents, and Elisard had to witness this twice. Pulling out her favorite pictures of Villian and Garma, she was about to weep on them but remembered shes out on a very important mission. "Garma, Villian...I will end this war for you two, by surrendering to the Federation and negotiating peace, Revil will understand, like how he was 30 years ago. Ah, no more tragedies like you two will happen anymore, I was wrong to start this war...forgive me you two, and forgive me...Zeon, look what my daughter and I turned your nation into...I should never have done this..." she talked to herself, apologizing to so many people at once.

A Baoa Qu, Rimea's office

Space fortress A Baoa Qu, it is in many ways the final fortress for CRADLE. Once this stronghold is lost, CRADLE's home country Side 3 will be directly exposed to the Federation's assault. Leaving the smallest amount of forces in Side 3 and Granada, CRADLE has gathered everything in this space fortress ready to take on the Federation to another death match. Rimea was spinning around on her chair like a child, then suddenly her highheel shoes stomped on the ground as the spinning halted. Grabbing the piece of paper thats printing she read it. The room was quiet and empty, it was very neat, but it was only Rimea's table that was messy. Her assistant and student, Kotomine Kirei stood next to the door closing his eyes like a statue, not moving an inch since Frontal walked in, almost an hour ago. Sitting down on the couch with Rimea's allowance and a cup of tea, he was finally called up to her desk. His right hand was wrapped in bandages. "Frontal, I want you to go take frontline command right now, you got 30 minutes to pull all ally ships out of the Solar Ray's attack range. Damn you Carissa, what in the world is she thinking rushing the plan like this..." Rimea cursed as she handed Frontal the piece of paper that recorded the attack range of the Solar Ray. Frontal silently saluted and walked out of the room. On the way out he glared at Kirei through the corner of his mask, standing there like a statue, a normal person might think hes dead just standing like that.

Argama

Noa sucked on the straws of his energy drink. The Argama has been pulled back from the frontlines following the destruction of CRADLE'S Newtype MA, without that in the way, the Federation definitely has the upper hand in numbers and is quickly breaking the CRADLE lines, though theres still a fair way before they can get to A Baoa Qu. The Federation, or General Revil wants to conserve the Argama crew's energy for the up coming big battle, which he still have not revealed. "Hmm, seems like we wont make it in time to join with the main fleet. If things go as planned most likely we will be fighting at A Baoa Qu while General Revil's main fleet engages CRADLE at Side 3..." Noa explained. "By the way, what happened to Allen?"

"Allen locked himself in his room the moment he returned and wont tell us why. Sayla wont tell us anything, something must have happened." Rie replied worried, but there was nothing she can do about it. The entire Argama crew now understands, Allen is not longer one of them. After Gundam destroyed the Elmeth, everyone was convinced Allen was a Newtype, better than themselves. Though not one person knew of the process and the pain too.

As time passed, nothing seem to have changed, other than the fact that the explosion lights from a far seems to have decreased, whether this is a good or bad sign, Noa believed that CRADLE is retreating to A Baoa Qu and trying to get themselves back up there. While the Federation do not necessarily have enough forces to lay siege on the fortress, it would only be natural to have confidence in their forces after outnumbering CRADLE over 5 times. Suddenly the door to the bridge was flung open as Allen ran into the bridge still in his pilot suit. "No! Everybody run!! Quickly run from that light!! That light will only bring misfortune!!" everyone looked at him wondering what Allen was saying, but then a bright light swept past the screens of the Argama.

It came from the direction of Side 3, it was a huge beam that took up almost the entire screen of the Argama's camera. When the light died out, Taures' gasp caught Noa's attention. When he asked whats wrong, the reply left him speechless. "General Revil's main fleet's signal, has disappeared from radar..."

Frontal from the frontlines was also shocked at the light of destruction, more so that he only barely made it in time to get their own ships out of its course of fire. As the highest ranking frontline commander, he decided to gather all the stray ships of CRADLE around A Baoa Qu, the enemy will definitely go for there now that Revil's main fleet is wiped out. Then an incoming connection from Rimea alerted Frontal. "Frontal, the enemy seems to have lost 1/3 of their fleet...immediately return to A Baoa Qu and prepare for combat!" Rimea ordered, it was just as Frontal has planned. Out of the three daughters of Queen Elisard, Rimea is skilled in politics but not military, however she appears to have an equal skill in commanding an army like Carissa.

As the connection went off, Kirei walked back into the room, seems like he finally moved after being given an order. Handing over a report of the casualties caused by the Solar Ray, Rimea smiled as if CRADLE has won, but then seeing something at the end of the page written in handwriting, her eyes narrowed. She recognized this handwriting, it was by one of the few trusted subordinates of hers, Joseph Mackenzie. "Kirei, who did you get this report from, was it handed by you in person?"

"No your highness, but it was handed over by a messenger from the Council, there are no traces of it being opened beforehand, therefore your highness should be the first one to see it." the priest humbly replied with his head down. Then Rimea told Kirei to come over and showed him the report, the priest's emotionless face suddenly changed, as if he was surprised. "The Royal Elisard was...? How can this be...there were no reports of it launching..." he stammered, Rimea did not mean to blame Kirei on anything, but then again she feels too suspicious of everything, especially on the rushed order to fire by Carissa.

"Seems like theres going to be a lot of talk about when I get back to Side 3, dont you think?" she rhetorically questioned, slapping the report on the stack of paper messily arranged on her desk. Then she stood up and slowly walked out of her office, the priest followed. On the way, she only calmly muttered to her assistant. "While I cant move from A Baoa Qu until the battle is over, I want you to prepare an escape route in case this fortress ever fall, not just for me but for anyone that manages to make it out of here alive..." Kirei bowed and split paths with her.

Argama

Radio noises filled the ship as there were many different voices starting to blast out of the speakers, the channels were all mixed up with each other, no one knew where they were broadcasting to after the destruction of the Federation's main fleet. "Taures, what did they say we have to do?!" Noa was annoyed too, after all the preparation they did just for this day, organizing the strongest fleet to fight CRADLE to death at this Operation Star One. All that effort was turned into dust by such absurd weaponry. Noa was naive, not just him, the entire Federation was naive thinking by banning nukes there were no way to wipe out entire fleets in less than a minute.

"Vice-general Edwards said for all ships to gather at point E and wait there, seems like hes trying to redirect target towards A Baoa Qu, also initiating the battle immediately...huh? What, I cant hear you?!" Taures replied then shouting back at the radio trying to pick up the proper channel. Even if the Federation still outnumber CRADLE in terms of raw numbers, when it comes to attacking a fortress the talks will be different. Noa was worried whether the Federation have sufficient numbers to take on A Baoa Qu, but they have come so far there are no reasons to back down now.

While the Federation is confused, Carissa decided to make her move at Side 3 as well. Even not being at A Baoa Qu at person, her charisma still supported the many CRADLE soldiers wanting to win. She stood in front of many soldiers yearning to hear her speech. Getting up onto the stage, the cameras are broadcasting this live to those in A Baoa Qu as well. The very place where her brother's funeral was held, Carissa will hold another speech at the Royal Garden of her palace.

Brave soldiers of CRADLE listen! One third of the Federation's fleet including Revil himself have been reduced to ashes by our Solar Ray. This is the light that proves the righteous justice of CRADLE! Rise brave soldiers! March brave warriors! The Federation is now only heaps of loose sand, regardless how many remaining forces they have, the Federation have received the decisive blow and will never stand again! To be blunt they are nothing but pathetic remnants now. It has come to this day, when the superior beings of us Spacenoids manage and govern humanity, it has now finally been able to live forever. Prove to the worthless scums of the Federation, we the people of CRADLE must stand for our tomorrow. HAIL CRADLE!

On the bridge of the Argama, Noa was explaining about what they know about the space fortress. The large screen showed a grid blueprint of A Baoa Qu and the approximate placements of turrets and cannons that protected it. He did not even have time to bring everyone into the briefing room, as it would do just by gathering the pilots that would launch. Allen, Sayla, Mu and the newly revived Hayate were all quietly glaring at the screen. "Well, this is what we know so far, while we might outnumber CRADLE still, we can be undermanned going up against a fortress...everyone do your best!"

"Everyone, dont worry. While it may seem heavily guarded, the enemy is going to panic too at this point. There are several areas that are surprisingly easy to break past. The operation will be a success!" Allen smiled and cheered, the others all frowned a bit and doubted whether it would really be so easy.

"Is this the intuition of a Newtype?" Noa doubted, Allen without a second thought replied yes. Noa just smiled as he was assured. If anyone else gave such a rash assumption, Noa would of slapped them, but even now he would just have to believe that what Allen said was true. He sees Allen as a superior being now, theres nothing to doubt anymore. "Alright, the operation is going to begin, everyone go back to your positions. Bridge crew dont forget to put on normal suit, we wont know what will happen this time!"

When the elevator went down, Allen was worried about Hayate, looking at him zipping his normal suit back up after applying some medicine on his wound he decided to speak up. "Hayate, you alright? Dont force yourself, we can handle it..." he asked, but his friend only laughed and shrugged his worries away.

"Dont worry Allen, I can take care of myself. I dont want to be a burden anymore. After the wound I got at Jaburo, I never really committed much to help you guys. So no problem, lets finish this war, and go home with everyone!" Hayate laughed as the elevator stopped, just before launching he needs to get a final check from the doctor. The door shut after the young pilot got off, the elevator was left with only three people, Allen, Sayla and Mu.

Then the casual pilot began to wonder something that has been bothering him for a while. "Allen, what you said just now...is it true?" he stared down as Allen smiled and looked away.

"Of course not, if Newtypes can predict the future then we wont have to live so hard. But if I didnt say that, everyone would be worried..." it was a simple but deep reply, Mu did not say anything as the elevator reached the lowest floor. The doors slid open as the two other pilots went to their respective MS, Allen also quickly got ready to scramble. Slipping his helmet on and lower the visors, he got into the Gundam. Closing the hatches he did not turn the machine on. Closing his eyes, he reflected on the many things that happened these past few months. It have not even been 4 months, he already became the pivot of the Argama or the Federation itself. Thinking back about all those people he killed, all those battle he came past, and all those sadness he was too scared to face. So much has happened, and yet so little time passed. Shaking his head to refuse such lifestyle, he still has a bright future. "So many things, so little time...I will, look towards the future after this war! Gundam, ready!" he turned the machine on.

Frontal has just got back, but Rimea was already waiting for him on the top of the hangers. The hangers had low gravity for the convenience of pilots to get in an out of their MS, Frontal kicked off the ground and shot himself up to second floor without any effort. Landing next to the princess, he saluted. "Well done, sorry but I would like you to launch again. I will assume command in the command room, I want you to take a handful of MS group and guard the S field. The Federation seems to have given up Side 3 and is directly assaulting here" she explained.

"Yes your highness, but I saw all the new Gelgoogs have launched, and theres none left for me to use..." Frontal stammered, somehow worried that he might have to launch in a Zaku. Looking around the MS hanger, there seems to be nothing he would be comfortable using. Then Rimea pointed at the corner of the hanger and there Frontal saw a peculiar looking MS.

"Well then why not give the Zeong a try? It uses the same Psycommu system of the Elmeth, though its only 80% complete. But you should be able to use it well enough. Counting on you then, I have to take command. The Dolos have already launch to cover N field, while E field is covered by the Big Rang. W field wont have much enemies, you just have to worry about the S field." she told Frontal everything she was planning, there was nothing to hide anyways.

80%... Frontal thought as he floated over towards the maintenance crew. "Hey, how does this thing work?" he asked.

The battle has begun, as Rimea was going back to the command room, she felt the ground shake. The Federation seems to still have much more reserved forces than she thought, but it doesnt change the fact A Baoa Qu is as sturdy as ever. On the outside, CRADLE MS have launched from their battleships to prevent any Federation units from getting inside the fortress. One Zaku smashed through a Moebius just to be gunned down from behind. Many GMs could not even get close to A Baoa Qu as they were quickly demolished by the heavy barrage of shells from CRADLE ships. Another Zaku kicked a Moebius so hard that it flew into a GM taking them both out, but that Zaku did not live longer as it was caught in a crossfire between several ships and not even know what destroyed it.

Hearing the shakes coming from outside, Frontal decided to quickly deploy too before its too late. Frontal this time looked a bit different than usual, he was in his usual red color but not in his uniform. He finally took Villian's advice and wore a normal suit, in his distinctive red color. He also had a helmet with the distinctive horn of his usual helmet, and the only item given to him by Villian. "But say, this thing is 80% complete right? Can it really move? It doesnt even have legs..." Frontal asked the maintenance crew next to him.

"No problem! Legs are just for decorations, somehow the brass just dont understand this! The Zeong now can perfectly unleash its 100% strength!" he cheerfully replied, Frontal doubted for a moment and then put his helmet on.

"Fine, I'll believe you!" he pointed thumbs up and jumped into the cockpit of the Zeong. Unlike every other MS made by CRADLE, the Zeong was the only unit made to have its cockpit in its head but not the usual body. Closing the hatches, the cockpit of the Zeong looked somewhat similar to the Elmeth, with its fairly dim and narrow orange walls. The system slowly lit up as the mono-eye on the MS was set ablaze. "Now then, the only questions that remain is whether I have enough qualities of a Newtype or not..."

The Zeong had two spikes out of its head, unlike the horizontal scroll mono-eye of the Zaku and other CRADLE MS, the Zeong had two vertical scrolls that extended to the back of its head. It had a large "skirt" like structure that protected its inner machanics, but it also mounted two mega particle cannons in on its waist. The lower part is painted gray while the chest and shoulders are painted dark blue. Frontal did not even have enough time to repaint this MS in his own colors, but this is not what he should be worrying about. The Zeong had thick fingers, its largest weapon are the finger beams that can fire up to 10 shots at once, deadly for a MS this age. Pushing out the edge of A Baoa Qu, Frontal once again took off towards the endless universe. The oxygen inside a normal suit is bad, he thought. But also the force of the Zeong was much stronger than anything he has experienced, thinking back, maybe this was how his rival, the pilot of the Gundam first felt.

Seeing the MS troops following up from behind, he noticed that there was no one in front. Then from a far the Federation ships began to fire, amongst them, Frontal spotted the Argama behind the lines of several Salamis-class ships. Frontal looked around the monitors but failing to find the Gundam. Not worrying too much for now, he locked onto one of the Salamis. The Zeong fired 10 rail of beams, one from each of its thick fingers towards the ship. Speared through by the unthinkable firepower of CRADLE's newest MS, the Salamis exploded into half, while one half drifted away into dead space, the other smashed onto an ally ship bringing it down with it. "Excellent...! But thats not it, where is he...? Hmm?!" Frontal's mind sparked as he quickly pulled back. Looking up, he saw the Gundam with two bazookas firing down from above.

"A new MS? At a time like this...?! Whos is its pilots..." Allen wondered, wonder how did it evade an attack from him so easily. The enemy must be either a powerful NT like him, or a very skilled pilot. He did not let his guard down and approached the Zeong with caution, firing one bazooka shell from the one on his left, the Zeong quickly slipped out of the way, Allen tried to catch it with the one on the right but the gray MS' ten rail of beams quickly fended the Gundam away, catching one of the bazookas as well, destroying it. "Guh...hes a pilot even stronger than Frontal?!" Allen raged, rotating around in the 0G environment, he fired another shot from his bazooka to no real effect. Seeing with only one shell left and the weapon being so slow, Allen threw the bazooka away and grabbed the beam rifle that was hung behind its back, also the shield as well since both hands are freed up now. Upon a spark in his mind, he locked onto the Zeong and fired, but the new MS just zoomed out of the way, it was this moment the image of Frontal appeared in Allen's head. "Hmm?! I missed? This guy, is it Frontal?!" he muttered.

"Gundam...!! Prepare yourself!" Frontal gave a battle roar, the Zeong fired five beams from one hand, the Gundam increased altitude to avoid it, but Allen did not see what crept up on him from behind. Too focused on the Zeong itself, Allen did not notice that one of its arms was missing and wired...

A row of flashes alerted Allen from behind, he boosted down to avoid the attack from behind. Much to his surprise he did not even expect an attack to come from that direction. Looking closely, he noticed the Zeong had wires connected to its arms. "An attack from the opposite direction? Frontal can use this too...!!" Allen's heartbeat increased, at first he thought that Frontal was no longer his enemy right now, but now encountering his first and final enemy he could not think so again. The Zeong loomed over the Gundam like a giant, looking closely its even larger than it seems. Allen widened his eyes as he tried to steer out of the way, it was too late. The Zeong fired its right arm in a punch and smashed the Gundam on the head, throwing it off balance. "Ngh!! Bastard...but its not the time to be fighting Frontal this time, the real enemy must be in there..." Allen got himself back to balance, and turned his back against the Zeong.

"Gundam? Youre going to flee?!" Frontal did not allow the Gundam to turn its back against him at a time like this, although he wanted to immediately go after his nemesis, many Federation MS have surrounded him without him even noticing. Before he thought about it, the Gundam disappeared within the fog of war, leaving him to fight the other enemies.

A Baoa Qu Command Room

S Field no response!

E field emergency signal!! Big Rang connection lost!!

N field...Dolos have sunken!!

Rimea remained calm in the command room of A Baoa Qu, although she was already breaking a cold sweat, she cannot show that to the soldiers. In the end she might be somewhat educated in military, but was not fit for commanding such a large battle. Over the time, she was wondering why Carissa did not come and take command of such a major battle at this point, though the answer was obvious. "Heh, so you want me to die here too dont you Carissa...I wont let your plot succeed!" she muttered to herself. Standing up and pointing at the screen. "Move half of the forces from W field to S field, N and E field forces gather back inside A Baoa Qu! Crush them inside this fortress! Dont let the enemy get into here anymore!" she shouted.

A Baoa Qu S field

The Argama is getting closer to A Baoa Qu, although they aim to land there, the heavy resistance from CRADLE is making it impossible for anything to even get close. One sunken Salamis class ship crashed onto the rocky surface of the fortress not to much effect. MS teams from CRADLE are still pouring out from the insides of A Baoa Qu. From a far, a powerful blast of beam smashed against the deck of the Argama, sending it off balance. The crew was rattled by the heavy impact that almost threw everyone off balance, the screen was covered with bright flashes. "Argama, second and third engine stopped functioning!!" Taures shouted.

"Ugh..!! Cut the engines off, dont let it explode! Rie, try to approach A Baoa Qu, fine if its a crash land, but crash land somewhere we can cover from fire! Call Mu and Hayate to cover for us!" Noa commanded, the Argama was going off course and almost doing a barrel roll from all the impact. Beams and missiles battered it from all angles, but it finally smashed onto the surface of A Baoa Qu, but apparently it seems to have landed in one of the ship docks that is currently empty. Noa grabbed the microphone expecting what to come next. "All crew members prepare for personnel combat!" knowing that CRADLE soldiers might not all be in MS now, it would only be reasonable for some of them to charge into the ship with guns like normal soldiers.

Seeing the Argama crash landing on A Baoa Qu, Mu panicked. His Guncannon is not necessarily in the condition to fight anymore, but there are no more choices. Grabbing Hayate's unit from behind, he made a gesture pointing at the Argama hidden behind a ship dock, then boosting towards that angle. Hayate followed, but he was covering his stomach that seems to have blood seeping from underneath. "Guh...how long will this last...hold on, just a little bit more my body...!" he coughed.

Sayla without noticing, she has already been drifted into another field, although there were fellow Federation units, it did not change the fact that she is alone without a formation. The G-fighter was overall badly damaged by the flying shells of machine guns and scratched by incoming beams from battleships. The radar is not working, nor were there any signals on the radio, but she did not see the Argama or any of its crew. "Where is everyone...ah!!" she screamed as a careless mistake spelled her units doom. A Rick Dom II's bazooka shell dented into the bottom of the G-fighter and exploded, blowing half of the unit into ruins. With only the front and cockpit left, it crashed onto the surface of A Baoa Qu as well. "At this rate...ah, it will explode!! No, I cant die here!!" Sayla without thinking, just jumped out of the unit, the explosion sent her flying into the fortress as well.

Allen was very cautious of an attack from behind, especially when each one of the beams fired from the Zeong's ten fingers can prove fatal. Ducking under another rally of beams, he turned and fired a shot from his beam rifle, it managed to chip off parts of the Zeong's psycommu arms, but not accurate enough to halt its functions. Frontal charged up using the beams on the other hand to fend the Gundam off, but Allen did not even back down. Pushing its way through using its shield, Allen took a huge risk, but it paid off. The burnt shield was quickly discarded as the Gundam was already face to face with the Zeong. "Heh, now that im this close you cant attack from all directions!" Allen shouted and fired a beam rifle at point blank, destroying the left shoulder of the Zeong, completely disabling its left arm. With the wire cut, the psycommu arm floated away into space.

"Damn you, Gundam!!" Frontal clicked his tongue and took aim with another cannon, the two mega particle cannons on its waist flashed as it burnt off the Gundam's left arm as well. Allen gasped not noticing such a way to attack, quickly taking distance to avoid being ambushed again. Frontal launched the right arm of the Zeong and attacked from the side, but somehow his aim was off. Frontal was sweating hard as he could not utilize the Newtype designed MS to its fullest potential. "But, I must be a Newtype as well!!" he encouraged himself to think that way, but having such a hard time piloting the Zeong, he again admired how Villian was able to move the Elmeth like that.

Seeing the attack missing by miles, Allen caught sight of the Zeong's arm. Firing another shot from his beam rifle, it destroyed the remote weapon in its tracks. Allen decided to shout, even though it might not reach Frontal, but he decided to do it anyways. "Why did you drag Villian into battle?! Villian is not the kind of person to be fighting! Answer me! Full Frontal!!" he screamed with hate.

"Tsk...what the hell do you understand?!" Frontal cursed back, seeing himself deprived of weapons, he pulled back, hiding behind the fortress. The Gundam chased after the Zeong, but Frontal did not give up, standing still like a turret Frontal tried to continuously attack with its waist cannons, but it was too futile to hit the Gundam moving at high speed. Allen gave a final shot at the Zeong's chest, assuming it was the cockpit.

However his hopes were betrayed when the Zeong's head detached itself from the body, the beam speared past its blue chest armor, through the generator and with enough power to destroy it. "Wrong spot?!" much to Allen's surprise he had no idea the Zeong's cockpit was in its head but not the usual body. Frontal gritted his jaws and fired a thin beam from the "mouth" of the Zeong, although weak, it had enough power to blow the Gundam's head off in one shot. Taking the chance the Gundam was dazed by losing its camera, Frontal's Zeong head escaped into the fortress of A Baoa Qu. Allen adjusted his cameras and changed to the sub camera to replace the lost head of his MS. "Im not done yet! Its just the main camera taken out!" he refused to give up until he gets an answer from Frontal. The Gundam followed the Zeong into the fortress of A Baoa Qu, but for a battle so intense outside, this entrance is extremely odd and too silent. Nonetheless he has nothing to worry about, his senses tell him Frontal must have escaped into here. Slowly walking the Gundam, he was cautious.

"Frontal, I know youre there..." Allen grabbed the keyboard under the Gundam, how many weeks has it been since he used it. Turning the setting of the Gundam's learning computer, he adjusted the angle and timing of the automatic shot but also kept the Gundam walking until it was at its target point. Then he took out a pistol from underneath his seat, loading the magazine and unlocking the safety, he saw the chance coming. Opening the hatches, he jumped out of his MS. Allen knew, this would likely be the last time he would pilot this MS. The headless Gundam, stopped as it reached the end of the large hallway. Raising its beam rifle up, it gave one final shot of its beam rifle up without a second of delay. But at the same time, the Zeong's head also unleashed a last shot from above. The Gundam's beam went through the MS head and this time finally destroying it for real. The Zeong's beam melted past the Gundam's beam rifle and right leg in an explosion. The white MS lost its balance and collapsed lifelessly on the grounds of A Baoa Qu. Allen gave his MS one last look as he continued upwards, he can feel it, his archenemy waiting there.

Mu landed on A Baoa Qu with his Guncannon, ready to cover for the Argama. Though, as Hayate was about to land a 280 mm bazooka shell, so well aimed and well timed flew out of the fortress, it pierced Hayate's Guncannon through the cockpit. Hayate saw his screen blacking out and denting, before he even have the chance to scream a huge bazooka shell drilled into the cockpit, crushing his helpless body and smearing his insides out onto the screen around him. Then an explosion from his unit burnt his body away, Hayate died without even knowing what hit him. Mu's watched that in horror, immediately scanning his cameras around searching for his enemy, there his goosebumps ran up his neck. He saw a shiny silver Zaku throwing its bazooka away and drawing its custom heat saber from its back. "You again?! You killed...Hayate, like im going to forgive you for this?!" Mu roared in fury.

BGM

"Thats right, enrage at me, spread your hate at me. Like you took the future from me in the past, I will take everything away from you this time...Mu!" Raul ru Crueze let out a wild laugh, challenging Mu head on. His silver Zaku flew up and charged at Mu, slashing away at his beam rifle before the pilot can even raise and take aim. Raul was very quick, his reaction speed skyrocketed amongst the other pilots, in conjunction with his fast customized MS, Mu felt he was going up against the Red Comet.

"Damn! This unit cant fight close combat...I have to get to somewhere wider!" Mu was desperately trying to boost back, but Raul's Zaku was already behind him. Thrusting its heat saber at the Guncannon, it plucked one of the cannons on the back and destroying it. At the same time cornering the red MS into the hallways of A Baoa Qu. Mu cannot run into the open anymore, the only way left is to fight this enemy to death. Seeing there is a half destroyed Dom floating nearby with an activated heat saber, he grabbed it finding a melee weapon for the Guncannon. It has become a situation of use anything he can find, otherwise its death. Yet, Mu was fairly unskilled in melee combat, the silver Zaku immediately closed the distance in the narrow hallways, the Guncannon could not avoid the slash completely. The heat saber dented into its shoulder and cut off the MS's left arm, but the chain explosion also disabled the other back cannon. "Thats the worst possible place you hit me...! Who the hell are you?!" Mu questioned, not expecting it to be heard though.

"You dont know? Hmph, of course you dont know, you lived in ignorance thinking of nothing but happiness!" Raul was enraged by what he heard, he can hear voices in his head, the voices of spite and hate flowed through his mental process every second. He did not know whether this is a blessing or a curse, but something indeed have awakened inside him as he stepped onto the battlefield on A Baoa Qu. But this power that is so far unknown to him brought him great advantages in battle, it indeed let him react faster than even the best pilots in CRADLE, and also let him read moves like watching a movie. Naturally Mu's attack did not even land against Raul's awakening Newtype powers.

Parrying and avoiding behind hit again was the best Mu could do against this enemy, somehow it just does not feel right. It is as if everything he tries to do was known beforehand and the silver Zaku just had to avoid or counter, things are not going towards Mu's favor. Though if he would jump out of his cockpit now and run, the silver Zaku will definitely melt him into dust with a swing of its heat saber. While thinking what to do, the Guncannon clumsily evaded a slash by luck, but this was only a feint by Raul. The Newtype's silver Zaku ducked down and slashed away the Guncannon's leg from the ankle joint, tipping it as it fell on its back unable to get up again "Ngh!! Bastard...!! Damn, am I going to die here...!!" Mu closed his eyes, but it was this instant he saw an image of the universe expanding within his thoughts.

As if a miracle happened, the wall to the left side exploded and the shockwave threw the silver Zaku off balance, it fell towards the Guncannon. Mu did not let this chance slip by, it might be pure luck he won, but if he does not do it now he will be impaled the next second. Taking the chance the Zaku has fell towards the Guncannon and within the range of his heat saber even lying on its back, Mu pushed his controls up as the Guncannon's arm flung up and thrusted its heat saber into the silver Zaku's chest, through its generator. "What?! Did the heavens save you..." Raul cursed as he quickly opened the hatches and jumped out, floating away using his personnel boosters. Mu saw the CRADLE uniform pilot escape his MS, then it means that the Zaku will explode any second. Giving a last ditch effort, Mu stomped on the flaps and the Guncannon rocketed itself deeper into the hallways, the silver Zaku made a huge explosion that made the ceilings collapse.

A Baoa Qu Command Room

Zeong signal lost!

When Rimea heard this, all her hopes were gone. The soldier's morale were low, it would only be a matter of time until A Baoa Qu falls. Standing up from her seat again, she turned and walked towards the exit. Not making a signal at all to the soldiers in the command room. Although she wanted to take them with her as well, it is not possible to save everyone. The automatic door slid open as a priest bowed, Kotomine Kirei has finished his job and will now begin escorting his master out of this fortress. "The Red Comet has fallen, A Baoa Qu probably will not last much longer. But I have to live, if I die here then there will be no one to stop Carissa, god knows what she would pull out at the last second. Kirei, have you prepared everything? Including forces in Granada?" she asked, the priest only silently nodded. When this was assured, Rimea gave an unnatural smile. "Hmph, fine. Then lets move, onto our way to Granada..."

As the two shuffled down the hallways, Rimea did not wear a normal suit. They came across a large room that was designed to store supplies, but now it is empty. The lights were brightly lit through the large room, one row was broken, then there were footsteps heard from behind the door on the other side. With only one escort and a priest, Rimea seems to be very poorly guarded. Gravity was still intact in this area of A Baoa Qu, and there was still a fair way to go before they get to the ship docks were they can escape. As the footsteps got closer, a few Federation soldiers blasted through the door with their machine rifles and kicked it open. Then they stopped, only staring at Rimea from a far. "Hey, isnt that...the princess of CRADLE?!" one soldier alerted, the other confirmed she was. But Rimea did not panic, she only folded her arms and narrowed her eyes. "She is...escorted only by a priest? If we capture her alive our ranks will skyrocket!" another soldier cheered.

"How ill mannered, Kirei...I want to be out of here in 10 minutes." she ordered, the priest stepped in front of Rimea and in between her and the Federation soldiers. There were about 20 meters between them, the Federation soldiers were wondering what can a priest do, but since they have no use of someone other than Rimea, they decided to dispose of everyone else. The five soldiers all raised their machine guns and pulled the trigger, thinking it would be an easy job. After several seconds of fire, they did not believe what they saw. With six long blades each slipped between his fingers, three on each hand, Kotomine Kirei deflected each and every bullet. He was no ordinary priest, and definitely no ordinary human.

On the other side of A Baoa Qu, Allen felt that his target has moved. He has infiltrated the fortress to put an end to this war, even if it means to have to kill the head of CRADLE, the Elisards. "Right now I can recognize it, the real enemy is indeed inside this fortress. And I am confident that I can defeat that person..." Allen muttered to himself. After losing sight of Frontal, he was thinking to go straight to the leader of A Baoa Qu and finish them off, but then a voice from behind disrupted his thoughts.

"What if I said, that power of yours was all given to you by Villian?"

Allen froze in place when he heard that voice, although hes only heard it once, he knew immediately who it was from. Gripping his pistol tightly he spun around and pointed it at the person that walked out from around the corner of the hallway. "You dragged Villian into battle! Why did you do that?!" he roared, he wanted to pull the trigger this moment to send that man to hell, but Allen still want an answer.

"Allen, if you think that is something unforgivable, im afraid youre wrong." Frontal calmly replied, he had his own pistol in his hand as well. Invisible sparks can be seen from the two soldiers as they were about to clash their ideals. "If it was not for this war, Villian would not have had her Newtype abilities awakened. Neither you nor myself, would be able to see this world in a completely different view. Dont you think?" he continued.

"Thats just a theory!" Allen shouted back, refusing to accept such an answer, pointing the gun at Frontal as he slowly walked forward. His expression under his mask did not change at all. Even he himself felt that he is much colder than usual towards his enemy. "The real enemy you should be fighting are the Elisards! You should know this for yourself too!!"

"But thats the correct way to see things. You have no idea how dangerous a person you are, to me you are an enemy thats even greater than the Elisards. Thats why, I will kill you!" suddenly Frontal began to run and jump, Allen fired a bullet from his pistol but it was too late. Frontal was already above him, using his personnel boosters to keep agility and stay afloat, he returned fire but Allen jumped into the air as well. Following Frontal, it seems like he is trying to lure Allen somewhere. But Allen did not feel the presence of anyone in front, so then where was Frontal trying to lure him. Pulling the trigger a few more times and avoiding shots, eventually Allen ran out of ammo and he did not bring a spare magazine. Though just in case, he tucked the pistol back into his normal suit and peeked around the corner. The room he saw was very out of place for a military structure like this fortress. It was like the living room of a medieval earl's house, with lavish paintings floating around in lower gravity, furniture broken and carpet torn. Frontal stood there with two fencing swords in his hands. Throwing one towards Allen, he caught it by the handle and glared at what the masked man wanting to do. "You know why I lured your here?" Frontal asked.

"Because, even as a Newtype, we need to use our bodies like any other human!" Allen finished his sentence and prepared for the thrust coming from in front, parrying Frontal's blade it reminded him how it was all unfolding into a mirror image of him battling with Frontal when they were in MS. Taking a step back Allen blocked another hit, he then somersaulted over Frontal and began his counter attack.

The sounds of metal blades smashing against each other attracted Sayla to that room as well. After the explosion Sayla managed to get into A Baoa Qu undetected. She followed her instincts, she knew Allen and her brother Full Frontal are together in this fortress. She can only hope for the best until she saw the scene in disbelief. Allen and Frontal sparing with each other in a sword fight, sparks flew around as their blades clashed. Sayla wanted them to stop, there were no reasons for them to fight each other. "Stop it! Allen! Brother! No more of this...!! What reasons are there for you two to fight, what good would it bring...and what would you gain even if you won?!" Sayla shouted almost crying, but the two men did not listen.

It was this moment, both Allen and Frontal decided to give each other the finishing blow. The two charged at one and another thrusting their blades, the huge impulse from two powerful Newtypes clashing created a boundary field that no one could trespass, not even Sayla. Allen endured the pain as Frontal's blade stabbed him through the arm, while Allen's blade dented into Frontal's helmet, through his visors and almost through his mask, but it was stopped as both blades snapped in half. The two smashed face to face onto each other, both glaring their enemy in spite. "Stop!! Dont fight anymore!! NOOO!!" Sayla was about to run up but then an explosion from behind threw her towards the two soldiers that were crashed together. With Sayla being thrown at them from the shockwave, Allen and Frontal separated from each other as Allen caught Sayla and covered her from crashing into a wall. "Allen!" she quickly came to her senses and saw Allen breathing hard trying to catch his breath. Then noticing her bother, Char Aznable creeping up from behind, she spun around and faced him. "Wasnt brother's goal to get revenge? Why are you fighting Allen like this, its not like you have a curse against him or what?" she shouted.

"Revenge is no longer any importance to me. The existence of Newtypes prove too be too powerful of a weapon on the battlefield. I have to kill this person before he falls into the wrong hands. Once CRADLE is finished it is the age of Newtypes. I know you understand what this means...Allen. I want you to become my comrade, Villian would be glad too..." Frontal motionlessly said, taking his helmet off and ripping his mask away. Showing his bare face to the two, both Allen and Sayla were shocked to see Frontal's sudden change of attitude. "This scar on my face I kept to keep on reminding me about who my enemy was, but I no longer have any needs to keep it..." he continued, taking a helmet from a dead soldier that happen to float by. Putting the new helmet on, he smiled at the two.

"Thats absurd!" Allen shouted back without a second through, refusing to join someone like him. "Villian told me, Newtypes are not tools to kill each other. Even though you yourself is a Newtype, how can you not understand that?!" he shouted back, throwing his ideals at his rival. Frontal closed his eyes to reflect on what he has done over these few weeks with Villian, until everything was taken away. Then came to his senses again. Another explosion came from below, Allen was thrown out of the room and he smashed against the wall on the hallway. Grabbing against the handle to prevent himself from being thrown into space, he put his hands on the broken blade stuck in his arm. Enduring the huge pain he pulled it out in one breath, and quickly patched his wounds up with the emergency bandaids made for normal suits.

At the same time, Frontal grabbed Sayla by the waist, kicking off walls letting him get out of the exploding chamber with 3x the normal speed with his sister, he landed on the hallway and put Sayla onto the ground too. Noticing Frontal's forehead is bleeding, she was worried whether hes alright. "Brother, your forehead..." she stammered.

"Thanks to the mask I survived, but I guess it was also right to wear a normal suit. Otherwise I would of died on the spot." he smiled, and embracing his sister. The feeling that he did not feel for so many years, he finally had the chance to hold her in his hands. "Artesia, forget about war and live on. Survive and become a good women...treasure what you have, and treasure him. Good bye..." he left that, pushing Sayla away from him, towards Allen on the other side of the hallways.

Sayla did not believe it, when she finally reunited with her bother, why would he let her go and where will he go. An explosion smeared up the image, as she lost sight of Frontal. "Wait...brother! Brother Char!!" she screamed, but no one heard her, Allen only caught her by the shoulders. Sayla could not stop her tears, but then Allen learned something, he will respect this person named Char Aznable not for him being anything else, but being a person that will look towards the future.

The gunfire died down as the Federation soldiers flinched against the inhumane enemy they are facing. Kirei put his hands down as he notice the Federation has stopped firing, his facial expressions did not change at all. Not even an eyebrow twitched when he was deflecting the bullets just with six blades on two hands. Looking like extended claws, the priest walked up slowly and suddenly threw his blades to the sides. Before the soldiers have any time to react, the sharp swords impaled one soldier through his machine gun and pinned him onto a wall by the shoulder. The other blade had three blades through all his body and one of them even hit his head, shattering the helmet in an instant, killing him on the spot. "Ugh...monster! Fire! Dont stop your fire!!" the soldier in the middle shouted, the two others that survived were frozen in spot, too scared to move. "...AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" the one remaining soldiers screamed in horror and began to pull the trigger mindlessly. The bullets from his machine gun shot down lights as shards of glass fell down from above, Rimea took a step back to avoid being hit by the falling glass, knowing Kirei will block any fire that headed for her from in front. The priest did not flinch the slightest against the incoming bullets. Crossing his arms in a guard motion he began to run, the bullets bounced off his bulletproof vest to no damage, not even slowing down for a second, Kirei charged at the soldier like a truck.

Kicking the machine gun out of his hands, Kirei took a step forward and extended his arms back for a moment when his enemy is dazed by the lost of their weapon. Pushing all his weight in his right fist, and hurled the straight punch right into his enemy's chest. The Federation soldier spit out blood inside his helmet from the impact, upon impact Kirei turned his fist about a quarter of a turn, like a screw it added to the impact. The sheer power from his punch sent the soldier flying into a wall smashing into it so hard that it not only spilled his guts from the force, causing blood and organ to smear against the white wall, but also making a large dent into the brick and cement wall. Kirei let out a deep breath as his fist was still up, steam was coming off his right hand. Amongst the splattered organs, the heart was crushed into a plup. The two surviving soldiers both wondered if this person is really a priest or not, or before that is he even human to be able to do this. After Kirei giving them a glare, they quickly crawled away. "Your highness, oxygen is getting thin here, please hurry." he explained. Rimea nodded and increased her footstep pace.

The battle outside was coming to an end, Raul landed in the empty hallways with nothing but corpse and destroyed parts of MS floating around. The thin oxygen is quickly being burned away by the blazing fire from the explosion, but the fire is starting to die out due to the lack of fuel for it to keep on burning. Raul took notice of this and discovered that there is not much time left. The fortress A Baoa Qu has fallen and Federation soldiers will swarm into here anytime soon. "Hmm? That is..." he saw a peculiar object floating around, jumping over and slowly floating down he picked it up. Closing his eyes, he recalled a faint image of the ongoing event that just happened here, as if he can see the memories of the owner of this mask. "I see, so in the end you never managed to accomplish any one of your goals...but dont worry, I'll take it from here. And I promise to help you accomplish at least your goal of the defeating the Earth Federation..." Raul muttered to himself, gripping hard onto the metallic mask he found as he continued to search for a way to escape, leaving it all up to his instincts. He went with one vow in his heart.

I can see, the memories of people...is this a blessing or a curse...hmph, we shall meet again, someday somewhere. We are destined fight until one side falls...!

Sayla dropped down onto her knees, shes trying to catch her breath, she was exhausted from the battle and everything that happened with Frontal. "Ah, I cant do this anymore...Allen, leave me and go..." she let out a dying wish, but Allen grabbed her arm and pulled her up by force.

"What are you saying?! We have come so far and youre going to give up at a place like this? We are going back, the two of us...I wont let myself return alone!" Allen put her arms around his neck and supported her. Even if the gravity was low, it was still difficult to support the weight of two people. Sayla felt light headed as the oxygen in her normal suit was coming to an end, there is not much time left. Allen feel that the oxygen in his suit is starting to run low too. Closing his eyes, he focused his mind, hoping this Newtype power might come into some use. He got a slight image of how the structure of A Baoa Qu worked, he saw so far that he even spotted the Argama crew that is suffering great danger as well. "No, if I dont do it then everyone will be...please, let this voice reach them..."

BGM

Noa quickly hid behind a wall as hes reloading his machine gun, CRADLE soldiers seems to have not yet gotten into the Argama, but this ship will not last long from the battle just now. Not knowing what to do, it was the first time Noa felt so powerless as a captain. But then a voice came into his head, he immediately looked up and around, but there was not anyone around that possibly could tell him this. "Al...len? Is that you? What did you say? Abandon the Argama and have the crew escape through the launches, or we will all die...?" he repeated what he heard in his head, at first he thought it was an illusion. But the voice was solid and loud, he will trust this voice.

Rie was wrapping a bandage around Taures that has a wound on his arm. Wrapping the linen over the wound and sticking it with normal suit use tape, Taures stood up and smiled to indicate he was fine. Then Rie heard a voice in her head too. "Allen? But why...what? I see, get the launches ready for the crew to escape!" she quickly hopped up and broadcasted what she just heard. Then quickly rushed towards the emergency hanger to get the escape launches ready to go. The other ship crew helped Taures and the other injured members as well.

Mu was wandering around in the dying fire, breaking a sweat from the thinning oxygen in his normal suit, maybe everything was finished. He could not get out of this fortress and he will die suffocating. But then he heard a voice in his head too. "Mu-san, dont give up! Youre almost there...just 500 meters more and turn right, you can get out of the fortress, and there the others will be waiting!" Mu heard this voice in his head. Giving a smirk, he got back to his feet again, even though he was not very convinced about this voice, but somehow something inside him made Mu believe in it. Turning around he saw an exit, then two escape launches pass by. Seeing hope he made the final jump for it.

Noa looking back, while on top of the launch, the Argama burning in fire and eventually exploding. The explosion was so huge that it almost shook A Baoa Qu off orbit, bright light poured upon the Argama crew as a crew member caught Mu that was floating in space. Patting each other on the backs to congratulate their safety. "If Allen did not warn us about that, we might all have been dead in that inferno..." Noa saluted to the ship that took care of them from all the harsh battles. Rie only nodded, believing that Allen and Sayla must return.

Allen and Sayla jumped from the 8th floor, the gravity was so low that they landed down on the ground floor without any problem. Upon coming down, he saw the destroyed Gundam lying lifelessly on the ground. Allen knew this was the right way to go, something has been calling him for all this moment. To conserve energy, he only used sign languages to tell Sayla to wait. He climbed to the side of his MS and pressed the emergency eject button that was covered by some armor plates, the top of the Gundam separated from the bottom and ejected the Core Fighter, its cockpit. The wings unfolded automatically and its cockpit extended from the box shaped main body. Floating up and down in empty space, only the hatches to the fighter jet was not in tact, though this was good enough to let them escape. While the Gundam was only designed for one person to be in the cockpit, therefore the Core Fighter only has the accommodation for its pilot, Allen put on his seat belts and offered a hand, pulling Sayla in so shes sitting on his lap. She grabbed on tightly to Allen, but also remembering his brother's last words to her, treasure him.

Through an explosion, Allen flew the Core Fighter out of A Baoa Qu, from a far they saw CRADLE ships fleeing the fortress as well, the Federation ships began to swarm into the fortress. Allen looked up front, looking up at Sayla while she smiled down. Then a flash of light alerted the two, seeing it coming from the Argama's escape launch and people waving at them, they waved back.
