Universal 0087, March 21, 6:00 PM One day after the raid at Granada, Blue Cosmos was somewhat desperate and finally getting their acts together to seriously combat CRADLE. After receiving news that Heliopolis, the colony that was secretly constructing a new Blue Cosmos battleship and Gundam types was attacked, with four of the five MS stolen, the two simultaneous and well timed operation splattered mud on many Blue Cosmos officials. Aboard the Alexandria-class battleship, Kenneth Archbolt assumed the position of captain of the ship after there were no other officers with a higher ranking than him. The Alexandria-class was the result when the Federation studied the the lessons learned from the previous war, knowing the mainstay weapons of any future conflicts would be Mobile Suits, they have designed and recently rolled out the Alexandria-class battleship. It was a heavy cruiser with four double barrel beam cannons as its main weapons, and multiple beam cannons armed all over the ship. It had a huge runway and a large hanger on the center of the ship with a rather flat bridge to avoid fire. There was also another hanger hidden under the bridge for additional MS carriage increasing the total amount of MS accommodation of the ship to over 20. Painted in a black and dark purple theme, the ship was simply known as Alexandria since it was the first ship in line. "What the hell are they doing?! They call themselves elites like this, those Blue Cosmos fools!" Kenneth threw his pen onto the map displayed on the table of the briefing room, the high quality fountain pen smashed against the table and slowly bounced floating around in low gravity. . Gathering the pilots that was originally assigned for this crew combined with stray pilots that were flushed out of Granada in the battle yesterday. Kenneth was enraged and ashamed at Blue Cosmos after hearing Heliopolis got raided. "Didnt they already learn their lesson from the One Year War to not construct new MS in poorly guarded colonies. Their self proclaimed elite state put shame on the real elites like me!" Kenneth raged, but then looking around seeing the other soldiers somewhat stunned by the sudden personality change. Kenneth cleared his throat and grabbed his pen again while it seemingly has orbited around the room and floated back to him. Then putting the high quality fountain pen back into his pocket, he continued to explain the operation for his pilots. "Excuse me. Now then lets continue with the briefing. As you know we will be trailing CRADLE's white ship and preventing them from taking our Gundam Mk-II to their factories for research. Currently we are only able to faintly trace their heat signatures, based on their paths and purpose, I assume they will be heading towards either Side 6, or Earth. However, whichever path they decide to take, they must pass through this area." Kenneth traced his fingers on the space map marked neatly with lines and possible routes, all deducted by himself in just a mere half hour. Tracing his fingers on the red lines that represented the Nahel Argama, Kenneth then took out a blue marker and started to draw a new line. "In that case, we will use the gravitational pull of the moon and Lagrangian points in these areas to speed up our ship to catch up with the distances we are lagging in. Since we have significantly more MS in numbers, it would be safe to assume that CRADLE will likely to avoid direct combat with us. Therefore we will corner them and chase them into the shoal zone in Side 5, and when that happens...we just have to wait until they appear again. The briefing is complete, all crew members prepare at second battle preparations, maintain each of your units so that you can launch at anytime. Dismiss!" Kenneth ended the briefing as he packed the map up and slipped it on his clipboard, floating out of the room, the briefing room then slowly was filled with chatters of soldiers discussing about their new captain and mission, though most members were rather positive of their new leader. Jerry saw a female pilot quietly floating out of the room, he was rather interested in her so he followed. She had long blond hair and a rather nice looking appearance, though Jerry was not sitting close enough to see her face properly. Following her, Jerry lost sight around the corner of the corridor. Looking around to where she went, suddenly he felt someone tripping him from underneath as he lost balanced and smashed his head onto the ceiling. "Hey, you were looking at me that whole time werent you? I dont mind you lusting after me but I advise you to pay attention to the briefing" she taunted. Looking closely, she had emerald green eyes and did not wear make up, for a women not wearing much make up and still remained such beauty was rather rare. However Jerry was more bothered about the fact that she just pulled a prank on him. "My name is Emily, Emily Levin. Whats your name, boy?" she taunted, Jerry was still fairly young amongst the other pilots, though Emily herself was no more than 25 as well, or she appeared like that. "Jerry Messa! Nice to meet...you!!!" Jerry lunged at her reaching for her collar trying to teach a women a lesson to not mess with a man. But Emily let out a devilish smile and jumped up, pushing lightly off the ceiling, she flew over using acrobatics and drop kicked Jerry on the face. "Uwa...!! Bitch!!" he cursed as he tumbled across the corridor until he finally stopped upon impact from his back onto a wall. Rubbing his face, it did not hurt but was rather dirtied, seems like Emily did not mean to hurt Jerry at all but to tease him. "Amateur, you should learn the rules of space first before coming up here. Or you'll die in battle, see you some other time, boy~!" she winked and waved good bye, Jerry was angry at her but became even more interested. One day has passed on the Alexandria for him, and yet there was still no sign of the Nahel Argama, Jerry was desperate to get his revenge on Waver. |

It had been a very busy few days for the crew of the Ardent Prayer. Between fighting in Granada and Heliopolis in less than a week, the purple battleship was still hurrying around Space in an effort to meet back up with their new allies. Berlioz took command of the briefing for their new assignment. He clapped his hands to get the small crew of 10 to keep quiet. "Alright everyone, settle down! I know these last few days have been a bit hectic whizzing around the cosmos attacking wherever CRADLE has been attacking and all, but today's not going to be any different. Our new assignment is to meet up with the Nahel Argama crew again. Since we won't be able to chase after Sin Cara's team with so many reinforcements surrounding them, we're going to assist them with whatever they're doing." Berlioz brought up a map of the immediate area. Part of the map had been circled as where they believed to have identify Kenneth's Alexandria class battleship. "The enemy, we believe, is somewhere around here. We can't be sure what the enemies strength is, and having moved ourselves onto the grid for real now it's unlikely they will let us go on by with our NEXT's. Best scenario would be to simply blow it to pieces from long range, but I'm afraid we don't know just how many enemies there are there, could be a battleship, two battleships or a damn colony laser for all we know." Berlioz drew squiggles on the map to represent what he was saying, drawing more and more crudely with his right hand until his pen suddenly snapped in half. He sighed a bit as if it was normal and threw the pieces in the bin. "As a result, we're not going to throw the Ardent Prayer headfirst into battle. We're going to send out a pair of NEXT's to scout the area ahead before we go looking for the Nahel Argama. In the event of an emergency the Ardent Prayer will move to a position where it can assist, believe me, we have enough guns on this ship to make most other battleship captains cry!" Berlioz boasted about his ships performance and scanned the room for a pair of pilots to send out this time. Since Graham had no long range weapons on his Masurao and Ange's MS was not ready yet, he pointed his right hand at both Razo and Grace. "You guys will be the first to go out. I'll have the engineers prepare the 0 Gundam and Heavyarms for launch. Be at the hangar in 20 minutes. Dismissed!" Berlioz clapped his hands again to call time on the meeting. As soon as the proceedings were done Grace stood up and left the room, with Razo following not far behind her. "Hey, looks like we're going ou-" Before Razo had time to finish his sentence, Grace lifted her right hand to shut him up with a firm "No" before he could say something that could be taken in a different meaning. "Wait, what? I was only saying we're both heading out this time. Have you ever been in space battles before?" Razo caught up to walk alongside Grace. She tilted her head to the side a bit as she was thinking of an answer. "Mm..I've done simulations of it, and I've practiced in a Flag before, but...I've never actually been out into space with the Heavyarms..." Grace stopped walking and leaned against a wall. Razo was puzzled by what the name "Heavyarms" could mean. "Heavyarms? You mean you've got some wrestling NEXT?" Razo asked with an unsure shrug. Grace smirked back at him, but didn't want to admit she found that a bit funny. "....No, it's not that. Come on, I'll show you why they call it Heavyarms..." Grace's eyebrows lifted up and she gave a quick wink at Razo before floating down the hallway. |

UC 0087, March 22, 4:45 am Waver was exhausted from the cruel training schedule planned by Rin and executed by Archer, he regretted to have for even one moment think Kanda Rin was his ideal lady. There must be even more under that angelic yet devilish smile, as Waver silently slept and was about to curse the two even in his dreams. The lights were out in the Nahel Argama living quarters and most of the crew member except those on duty were asleep. He was tired out as he was sitting in front of the MS simulator almost half the day, and the other half being taught about the details of MS maintenance. Although he had good background knowledge of how a MS worked, he was rather enthusiastic about learning how a MS moved more than learning how to move one himself. However, Waver has yet to see the true devil within his two trainers as the door slid open. "Wake up! Waver Velvet!" Archer called from outside and turned the lights on. He wore a simple black tight vest with white lines and black training pants as well, his pure white hair neatly waxed up into spikes like usual. "Mm...? I cant eat anymore..." Waver dreamed as he closed his eyes shut and hid himself under the blankets to avoid the sharp light that was disturbing his peaceful sleep. Archer frowned and grabbed his blanket, tearing it away from him. Waver rolled onto the ground and landed on the cold metallic floor with a thud. Artificial gravity was generated in the living quarters when not in combat, so rolling off the bed in space will still hurt. "Ow!! Huh? Archer...what are you doing in my room? Isnt it a bit early..." Waver was still half awake, rubbing his eyes. His sight only blurred a bit seeing his trainer standing there his arms folded frowning. The first thing Waver looked was the digital clock on his table and then slumped back into sleep. "But its not even morning yet...let me sleep for 5 more min...........zzzzzzzzzz" Archer sighed and went out of the room. A minute later he returned with cup of sink water and poured it over Waver's head. "Wake up, how long do you still plan on slacking off?! Youre still far from completing your schedule." he harshly scolded. This immediately woke the young pilot up as he was enraged, not once in his life has he been waken up by being poured by water. Not even the most annoying person he can think of would play this kind of prank on him. BGM "Ah!! You bastard!! Why cant you wake me up in a more civilized way!!" Waver jumped onto his feet, both his eyes were wide open from the cold sink water as he ran up to Archer, throwing a punch at his face. But the skilled butler grabbed his arm and twisted it behind his back like how a police would do to a robber. "Ah...owow!! Give! Give!!" Waver was calling for help and trying to give up, Archer slowly loosened his grip as Waver was force a few steps back. "Thats not bad for a start, today I will finally begin to start training you as a soldier but not as a MS pilot! First topic up is CQC, come to the gym in 10 minutes, if you want to punch me for that then master you combat skills first!" Archer turned and walked out of the room. Waver raged and immediately changed into the gym clothes that was offered to him as some basic daily needs by Rin and rushed to the gym full speed ahead. Eventually arriving, it was a rather simple gym with a few weights and basic muscle training equipments, there was a large empty room tiled with plastic like a dojo. Running up seeing Archer already wearing black gloves and cracking his knuckles, Waver narrowed his eyes in spite. "Now, get ready Waver, come at me from any direction! Use this if you want! You win if you land a hit on me!" Archer threw a sheathed army knife onto the floor as it spun towards Waver's foot. Reaching down and pulling the blade out of its leather pocket, Waver ran up and thrusted the combat knife at Archer's face, but Archer only tilted his body and easily avoided the attack. Waver was slow in retracting his movements and was pushed back by a palm right in his chest and fell on his bottom. "Youre holding a knife! Aim at a larger target like the body! No need to hold back!" Archer advised, Waver quickly got up and attempted to attack again but his arm was caught again and this time using Waver's own momentum, Archer twisted his challenger's wrist as Waver dropped his knife in pain. The sharp blade stuck into the ground like a lamp post as Archer pushed Waver away, this time the poor challenger smashed his face onto the ground. "No good, no good at all. Calm down and focus on your opponent's move, dont just look think about your own. Think about how the opponent will counter, and take a step further than that! Rin would of stabbed me a few times by now like this, she wont ever want to date you like this!" Archer taunted. Waver kicked back up and charged at Archer with a punch, but it was a mindless attack driven only by his anger. Archer easily grabbed his arm and threw him onto the ground as he rolled on the plastic floor like a piece of trash. "Sigh, falling for such a taunt, I really dont have anything to say. This wont do at all..." Archer sighed and shook his head in disappointment, hoping Waver would learn something by now, but it seems like nothing has improved. For the rest of the morning until the crew got up, Archer attempted to train Waver in CQC, shooting, and basic gym training, all results were rather disappointing. Razo and Grace arrived in the hangar about 10 minutes later. The 0 Gundam was being prepared, having been set down out of its pod and having its maintenance rack removed. Standing behind it back to back, there was another Gundam stood there. Adorned in red and white armour, its left arm was covered up by an extra heavy looking gatling gun that hid its entire hand. "So it's called Heavyarms because it has a gatling gun? Shouldn't be plural, that name. Should just be Heavyarm!" Razo commented on the uneven appearance on the Heavyarms. Grace looked over at him and shook her head. "No no, it's called the Heavyarms because it's filled to the brim with weapons. Missiles, beam gatling, hidden beam gatling, army knife, you name it, chances are the Heavyarms has got it equipped somewhere..." Grace explained the reasoning behind it. Razo's face lit up with a smug grin. "Ah ha! Tell me now then, how useful is this thing going to be out in space, considering it's got that big fucking thing on its arm?" Razo rhetorically asked. Grace clenched her hands together in embarrassment. "Ah, uh...." Grace hesitated to answer. "Go on..." Razo tempted her to answer, sitting down on the Heavyarms's foot and waiting for her response. "Well...Although the Heavyarm's knife did aim to balance the uneven weight, it would inevitably slow it down and make it much less agile than the 0 Gundam that you've been given...." Grace admitted at last. Razo simply sat there laughing his head off at what he heard. "Ha Ha Ha! Very well then. I'll make sure you're covered then, Grace Koenigsegg!" Razo confidently stood up and took a sarcastic bow in front of her. "You're unbelievable, you know that...?" Grace rolled her eyes and walked off. The very instant she turned around, Razo sneaked up and slapped her on the backside again, catching her by surprise suddenly, she jumped up and angrily turned around. "Hey!! I told you to stop doing that!! That's harassment you know!" Grace shouted over to Razo as he hurried over to the 0 Gundam in a failed attempt to look like he wasn't near enough to be touching her. "Huh? Oh you'll be fine. If anything, the fact you haven't shot me yet seems like a good sign you don't mind it anymore!" Razo taunted before he closed the cockpit hatch. |

BGM 8:00 AM The cafeteria began to fill with people as Archer, already changed into his butler suit, put his plate down and sat down with Rin, picking one of the tables in the corner. The victory to every battle comes to first not being hungry, as a pilot, Archer's breakfast had more quantity and he was free to ask for seconds. Seeing Iskander already quickly finishing his first round and rushing up to the counter for a second, the atmosphere in the cafeteria was light and carefree. It was only this time that people can forget that they were on a battleship and likely to be attacked at all times. However, Rin and Archer both liked this light atmosphere that reminds them of the life they had before the One Year War struck their homeland. After that, the two never saw the world the same, and therefore even for a girl that was suppose to be enjoying her teenage years at school is offering her military service on a CRADLE battleship. "Archer, hows Waver-kun doing? He improving?" she picked up her cup of coffee and took a sip, Rin preferred it without sugar, she put lots of milk in it. Unlike yesterday, she was wearing a bright red shirt with a white cross around the chest, black miniskirt and black tight socks. "Nope, other than his piloting skills, everything was pretty pathetic. He cant lift even more than 2 weights for more than 10 seconds, gets tired after 5 minutes of running, and wont even hit a double digit score after a round of Glock 18. But to be honest, I'm afraid he might still be dead weight if we send him to battle right now..." Archer sighed, looking at Waver wandering to his seat before being picked up by Iskander and forcefully put with his MS team for a "happy" breakfast chat. Waver was all worn out like a zombie without a soul. Archer spread some butter on his toast and took a bite, still thinking what hes suppose to do about that newbie on board. "Really? Well, I guess we might have to send him into battle anyways. Especially because we will be likely to be outnumbered anyways. Also, he might learn faster if he experiences what it means to be on a real battlefield. Archer, continue with the training at this pace, I feel that Waver-kun is the same kind as myself..." Rin smiled and eyed Waver from a far as he was pushed around by Iskander. Although the king of conquerors meant no offense or harm, he did not seem to know what kind of training Waver is currently being put through. "You say hes a Newtype? Well I disagree, Newtypes wont be so dull in their concentration. I would really like to throw him under a waterfall just to slap some concentration and nerves onto that little body of his. Well, its useless to talk about it. We'll just have to see." Archer took another bite and sipped from his straw to get a drink of orange juice. Taking one last glance at Waver and then ignored his existence. "Hahahaha! Brat! Dont look so bored in the morning, you know laughter is the spice of life! Laugh in the morning and your day will be great! By then you can even scare your enemies with just your voice!!" Iskander put his huge arms around Waver, the poor pilot was almost crushed just under the sheer weight of his muscles. Ricardo and Andy laughed with their captain, though Andy did warn Iskander to not bully Waver too much. While the two wore the standard CRADLE uniform, Iskander did not. He wore a XXL white t-shirt that wrote in huge letters "Admirable Conquest" across his chest and blue jeans. Apparently this t-shirt was the limited edition present from one of the many conquest games Iskander use to play during his stay on Granada, still as Waver's neighbor. "Get...off me you macho! You know I always feel something is wrong with this ship, why is everyone so carefree?! We're in the middle of a war you know, I always thought CRADLE was an army with more discipline!" Waver complained, while he did not hate the brief peaceful atmosphere when not being attacked, he was worried what if they were really attacked, can these people properly fight. Iskander stopped laughing and folded his arms with a frown. "Brat, you know what? Enjoy and relax when you can, when the enemy attacks the brink of time for even one extra breath will kill you." he was serious this time, it was the first time Waver has seen Iskander so intimidating, the young pilot just nodded and this time was crushed by the sheer pressure the MS team captain exerted as a person. |

While the two pilots were conversing in the hangar, Berlioz and Ange were sat on the bridge of the Ardent Prayer. Since someone had to be on the bridge at all times, both of them were sat at their chairs eating breakfast at their desks. Berlioz was personally trying to get the communication channel opened to the Nahel Argama, but as it was them that spoke to the Prayer's crew last time, he had no idea what channel or line he was using, especially given that he was far better as an MS pilot than a ship commander. "Damn useless systems...Where's Veloci when you need him, eh?" Berlioz tried desperately to get the Nahel Argama's channel, but for all he knew he could easily be communicating to Kenneth's ship that was waiting for the real target of the communications. "Hello? Is that Noa Hall? My name is Berlioz Rayleonard. I'm the captain of the Ardent Prayer that Graham Mason arrived from the other day, what are your co-ordinates? We're currently stationed at Lagrange Point 1 We'll rendezvous with you and escort you to your destination." Berlioz left an unsure message to whomever he'd managed to connect to without giving it a second thought. "So that Krieger guy then, you say he's a Human + like Sin Cara?" Ange asked Berlioz while eating her cereal. He look a quick swig of his coffee and then clenched his right, leather glove covered fist. "Yes. Our 15th, believe it or not. Hard to believe that ORCA managed to run through 13 of them in the One Year War alone..." Berlioz grimaced at how 13 enhanced humans disappeared off the radar so fast. Ange raised her head and looked over at Berlioz with some questions on her mind. "15th? Who's the 14th?" Ange asked with a puzzled tone. Berlioz grinned at her and avoided the question. "Berlioz? We're ready to launch out when you give the order." Razo spoke to the bridge over the radio. He noticed that Razo had seemed to stop calling him by female names and spoke to him with a bit more respect. "Hmm? Ah, don't launch just yet. We're waiting for a response from the Nahel Argama before we send anybody out now. Berlioz answered back. Edited by Razo Krieger, Sep 23 2012, 05:40 PM.

While most of the crew member were in the cafeteria, only the bridge crew and captain Noa himself remained on duty until the others returned, Noa took a sip from the straw of his bottle of energy drink. He was up late last night to devise a route to reach Side 6 without running into any battles. As he finally concluded to take a small detour around the shade side of the moon, and go through Side 3 and finally reaching Side 6. Noa was mainly worried about the second half of Operation Gundam-jack conducted by his colleague at Side 4 will quickly mobilize the Blue Cosmos forces stationed around Side 4 making it difficult to pass through the side without being noticed. Since Side 3 only recently have been liberated by CRADLE, there should be little Blue Cosmos forces available to go after the Nahel Argama. Though there was still a remaining problem of an ambush inbetween Side 3 and 6, this is the best route to take and the other crew members does not seem to have any objections about this. Noa explained all this from the incoming connection they received from the Ardent Prayer. "...this is our plan for now. We have just passed the old Elisard City, according to our speed we will be arriving at point S15 in an hour." he replied Looking out the window, the once flourishing capital of Side 3 and home of CRADLE is now rotting in poverty. Even if most of Blue Cosmos was flushed out of Side 3, CRADLE still does not have sufficient time and resources to gather themselves in one due to Blue Cosmos' tendency to attack anywhere they feel suspicious. While sometimes they do wipe out groups of resisting CRADLE forces, other times they flip entire colonies around just to discover it was really innocent and leaving without even a word of apology to the residents. Side 4 was no different, even after a day of the battle at Heliopolis, Blue Cosmos have not properly attended the refugees that escaped the broken colony and simply dropped them in an abandoned colony where even food and water were difficult to find. Looking at the ruins of several colonies destroyed during the previous war, space junk of both old Federation and CRADLE machines floating everywhere, Noa cannot help but feel sympathetic for the people of Side 3 even if he use to be fighting against them. Unconsciously he saluted towards the half ruined Elisard City they were passing by. Side 3's supreme council was still located here, but most of the politicians has escaped and they only held rare meetings here since most of Side 3's affairs were decided by the Federation, or Blue Cosmos to be exact. 9:04 The shooting gallery was silent, most soldiers do not need anymore training therefore there were only Waver and his coach Archer silently standing in front of a series of guns, dismantled. Waver pointed to them and asked. "Um...we're about to practice firearms right?" he hesitated a bit, Archer only nodded. Waver then took another glance at the parts of the pistols all lined up neatly one after another, there were about 6 different types of pistols all neatly dismantled and put in a line. "Um? Why are the guns all taken apart then? Even the magazines arent loaded." he continued Archer sighed and walked up, skillfully putting a silver pistol together and loading the magazine with ammos, he was so skilled and fast Waver cannot even see what his hands were doing. Firing one shot from the heavy silver Desert Eagle, the bullet soared through the air and smashed right on the center of his target for 10 points. The barrel was still smoking as Waver looked up to his skill and speed in some kind of fascination. "Of course your learning to put it together first. Seeing the fact that you cant even get a 2 digit number score this morning, I assume you might learn better if you learned to put one together first. Now start pick one you want and follow my steps" he ordered putting the gun down and picked up a few pieces of another one. Although Waver was familiar with machinery and especially MS, it was the first time he learned to put a gun together. "Waver, remember this. Just like any MS, a machine's strength can be manipulated only by you grasping its internal structure. Rin told me to coach you, but I dont have anything I am proud enough to teach anyone about. But I will tell you the ways I have lived, hoping you can gain something out of it and find your own way to survive in this ruthless world" he explained. Waver doubted whether he really can do that or not, but nonetheless he will try. Alexandria Kenneth rested in his office and waited for their prey to be caught in the web. While many people says that Kenneth is arrogant and egoistic, but also selfish, in reality he is very much like how people criticize him. However he was a natural born genius in military strategy, but also skilled in politics and a well regarded MS pilot to some extent. Born from the Archbolt family, for the past 9 generations his family has been an aristocrat that ruled in the top of the Federation every since its establishment nearly 150 years ago. He was also one of the first commanders to be recruited into Blue Cosmos ever since its formation, upon recommendation as well. "Now then, the fish should of bitten the bait by now. Diarmuid, I want you to take a separate route. There should be a small shoal zone leftover from the previous war close to our battle area, I want you and several men to hide there then approach them with dummy asteroids, and assault their ship from behind." he explained, there was one man that followed Kenneth almost everywhere, acting like his servant and bodyguard. Diarmuid was a dedicated young man in his mid 20s. He had wavy black hair neatly brushed and waxed back with a little strip hanging between his eyes. His eyes were of the color of bright gleaming gold and there was a small spot under his right eye. A glorious young man that will capture the heart of any women that looks upon him, Diarmuid was loyal to his master, never once questioning his orders and will fulfill his mission upon any cost. His Blue Cosmos black uniform was slightly different from the others, just like Kenneth's uniform it had slightly different sleeves that printed the Archbolt family's emblem. He bowed with great respect and immediately took his orders. "I understand, my master!" |

Berlioz took another sip from his drink, fully draining his plastic cup and throwing it to one side, watching it harmlessly float away from him. "Very well then. We will proceed straight around Side 4 and swing around to meet up ahead of you. If you suspect there is an ambush, we will be in an ideal position to make sure it doesn't annoy you for too long. Side 4's defense should not be a problem against this Ardent Prayer. I'll also send two of my NEXTs ahead of us and flank the area you're predicting the Ambush will arrive from. I'll keep you posted." Berlioz politely gave a vague response to what he was about to do and shut off the communication line. He changed the local radio signal so that he was now communicating directly to the hangar. "0 Gundam and Gundam Heavyarms, you're both cleared for launch!" Berlioz informed his pilots. "Ah, looks like we'll finally see how this thing handles...Grace Koenigsegg, Heavyarms launching!" Grace pressed a button on the side that allowed the NEXT to be catapulted out of the hangar immediately, launching the bright red Gundam into space. Moments later Razo's white 0 Gundam followed alongside, leaving a thin trail of green Kojima particles where it went as it approached the Nahel Argama. "You're current orders are just to rendezvous with Nahel Argama. They're suspecting an ambush to stop them between sides 3 and 6 so be aware you're likely to go in for a fight. We're going to go around Side 4 and turn around in front of Side 6 in order to meet them in the middle, so be aware that we will only be able to provide long range firing support when we aren't going round Side 4." Berlioz warned his two pilots. Remembering that Graham had informed him about Noa's connection with the RX-78 Gundam and its old pilot, he quickly flicked the radio back on to talk to Razo. "Oh, and Razo? Try not to invoke too many memories of the old Gundam in their captain, will you? Graham tells me that he seems to be quite attached to whomever piloted it before you, I wouldn't want him suddenly asking you to pull back and calling you a different name if I can help it." Berlioz warned Razo not to do anything stupid with a stern look on his face. Razo smirked a bit and simply gave a two fingered salute to Berlioz. "Oh come on, what do you take me for?" Razo sarcastically asked and proceeded to the target. Edited by Razo Krieger, Sep 25 2012, 04:40 PM.

Noa sat back, while there may be some commanders that would be smart enough to set up an ambush in between Side 3 and 6, with the current Federation and especially Blue Cosmos ranks, it would be rather rare for the Nahel Argama to be caught like this. Noa assumption was partially correct, indeed Blue Cosmos are mostly self-proclaimed elites. Seeing the corruption becoming even more serious after the Federation's victory of the previous war, it was safe to assume half of Blue Cosmos got to their ranks by promotion and not by skill. However Noa did have a fair amount of time serving the Federation, he understands that there are indeed very talented commanders that were recruited to Blue Cosmos as well. Noa only relied on the luck that they do not run into one. "Mileina, just in case let Alexander's team standby in their MS. While I dont think there would be an ambush here, it never hurts to be cautious" he ordered. "Hmm? I understa...please wait a moment! High heat signatures approaching, these signals are...battleships!" the radar alerted the bridge crew immediately after Noa gave his orders. Milena's laid back face turned serious as she sat up straight and rang the alarm. "Distance 2000, approaching from 2 o'clock direction. Intense heat signature approaching, incoming missile!" Mileina reported, the entire ship was loud with the alarm, the ordinary white lights were immediately switched to red to signalize the desperate conditions for the crew members. BGM "All crew members, condition red! Level one battle station, all crew members brace for impact from incoming missile. MS team immediately launch! Lichty, ship left 20 degrees, avoid the missiles!" Noa commanded, the young helmsman broke a cold sweat as he gripped his steer hard. Slowly turning the ship, to the side, most of the missiles narrowly slid past the white ship, but one shot hit the deck and shook the ship for a brief moment. "Dont panic, we've got distance, they wont hit us this easily. Increase the minovsky particle density!" Noa reassured, it was the first time for Lichty to directly witness combat, his heart raced since the fate of the entire ship's crew is in his hands, he cannot make a mistake. However, the young pilot understood if he follow every order of his experienced veteran captain, even a novice helmsman like him can protect the ship. The bridge's door slid open as a girl in red rushed in, Rin quickly floated to where Mileina was sitting. "Sorry im late, Mileina baton touch! I'll do the CIC, you focus on the gunning!" she ordered, the young CIC operator stood up and touched hands with her elder colleague and passed her the headphones. Rin quickly took her seat and put the headphones on while Mileina took the seat next to her. "Roger senpai! Captain, ready any time!" Mileina confirmed put on a visor like those of a 3D game and grabbed one control stick with her right hand while her left was on the keyboard. The gray visors covered her entire eye as she skillfully adjusted the keyboard. Unlike the old generation ships that relied on each person to be at a turret, the Nahel Argama's defenses are all controlled from the bridge and by one person. Though this system was specially created for this ship and made only possible because of Mileina's inhumane processing speed to be able to control the many cannons, turrets, missile launchers of the ship with just 1 control stick, a keyboard and 10 fingers. "Incoming enemy's MS team. Team Iskander please launch immediately! Matching complete, enemy types are Hizack and Marasai...these are, Blue Cosmos' official forces. Please be careful as we are unsure about the enemy's number!" Rin reported, finally Blue Cosmos have become to get serious with their deployment after many of their experimental Gundams being "jacked" by CRADLE in just a day. Blue Cosmos acts like an individual military independent from the Federation, therefore they have their own MS developmental teams to create units exclusive for the use of Blue Cosmos soldiers. Due to the Federation itself has been rather slack in MS development, the Federation's research budget is mostly used by Blue Cosmos and the elite corps have developed a handful of powerful MS able to easily overpower CRADLE's old machines used from the previous war. "Hehehe, dont worry girl! They may have the technological upper-hand, but we have the advantage in experience! Iskander launching!" the muscular commander shouted as his RF Gouf blasted into space followed by his two team mates' RF Zakus. "Whats happening? Whats this alarm?!" Waver asked as he followed Archer thinking there was a fire, but his coach just gave him a cold stare that was sharp and unfriendly. Eventually reaching the locker rooms, Archer immediately opened the lockers and put on a red and black normal suit over his vest then grabbing his helmet and slammed the doors. "The enemy's here, what are you doing? Youre not planning to launch like that arent you?" he asked and opened Waver's locker for him. Waver has no idea what was going on, but the moment he heard the word enemy, he shivered, Blue Cosmos is here to hunt them for the operation back in Granada. Waver had no idea when they even prepared a locker for him, but he grabbed the white normal suit and clumsily puts it on, it was his first time. Archer gave himself a facepalm and quickly helped Waver dress up, with an annoyed look on his face. "Lets go, dont leave my side for even a moment!" the coach called as the two went to the hangers. Waver and Archer got out of the airlock as the hatches were already open. It was not Waver's first time in a normal suit, but it still did not feel too good breathing out of it. The two split paths as Waver climbed into his Gundam. "So in the end they've repainted this white and even still lets me use it...its ok, I've done the simulation for this over and over again these past 2 days, nothing can go wrong!" he cheered himself up before battle and activated his MS. From the open hatches, he can already see the battlefield, with beams and missiles flying all around. Gulping hard, he saw Archer already launching. The catapult blasted his Gundam Mk-II into the dead void like a cannonball. Waver grabbed his beam rifle and a shield then stepped onto the catapult as well. "Waver Velvet, Gundam Mk-II launching!!" |

BGM Side 4 Berlioz lifted his eyebrows at what he could see attacking the Nahel Aragama. Although he wasn't too surprised, he felt as though sending forward two more NEXT's into the battle would only serve as a hindrance to his own strength if Blue Cosmos focused their might on his forces. The debris field that was slowly expanding out from the destruction of Heliopolis was coming into Razo's view as he pressed on. As he was weaving around the chunks of debris, he could not believe just what he was seeing lying ahead of him. "Oh my....They've really gone to town on that one haven't they...." Razo sarcastically muttered to himself, signalling for Grace to slow down as she approached. Before them laid Federation and Blue Cosmos ships numbering into double figures. Their number was too many to count, perhaps there was even hundreds of Salamis Class cruisers that were complemented by a few Alexandria class composed the Side 4 defense area. There was no particular shape or formation to the mass of ships, just huge clusters here and there scattered through the area. "Damn....Looks's like we'll have to turn back or something...Commander, what's our orders?" Grace politely asked Berlioz. In comparison to the 0 Gundam that was stood ready to launch itself off a piece of debris to go after the mass of ships recklessly, Grace's Heavyarms was simply hovering in place behind him, however, their presence did not go unnoticed. "Sir, pardon me, but do you think we should go after those two Mobile Suits? That battleship has been tailing our forces for the last couple of days." A female sounding voice, perhaps of someone in her early 30's, asked somebody that appeared to be sitting in a darkened Mobile Suit in the corner of an Alexandria. The Mobile Suit's design left some form of curiosity to it, appearing like a Gundam type that was wearing a suit of European armour. "No no, leave them be for now. It wouldn't be fair to go after them just now. It wouldn't be fair to just shoot them from where they are." A young man's voice answered back. It appeared to sound like the male's voice came from the Gundam type, showing a rare display of honour in an age where chivalry was dead. Berlioz rubbed his chin a bit. His original plan was to just go around the defenses, but if there was such an immense number spread out it would be a big risk to try if the Ardent Prayer was spotted. "Veloci, take us around Side 4 at full power. Ready all plasma turrets and plasma torpedoes! We're going in to battle!" Berlioz shouted out and handed the captain's chair to Lilium, walking out of the bridge entirely. "Lilium, I'm leaving command of the ship to you, I'll be in my personal hangar if you need me." Berlioz told Lilium and left, not giving any indication why he was leaving his post so suddenly. "Hey! Wait! Ugh.....That idiot's done that for the 10th time this year...." Lilium grumbled and took her chair. "Razo, Grace, wait for my mark. The Ardent Prayer will approach you soon and set the ball rolling. As soon as we fire I want you to start making short work of those Salamis that are closest to us. I'll send their positions now." Lilium calmly told the pair and sent them the coordinates for the 7 nearest shipts near the Ardent Prayer's intended course around Side 4. Edited by Razo Krieger, Sep 25 2012, 07:04 PM.
