So I did a little research a while ago, it was believed that Compies are islanders. And in these islands, they were the top predators. Arcaheopteryx and some small pterosaurs being the only other inhabitants of these small islands, Compsognathus automatically became the apex predators. However, we could add some drama, the opening will be talking about the islands and their fearsome denizens which ruled the lands, and then it anti-climaxed when Compsognathus is revealed to be the aforementioned monster. |

Yeah. Also adding a bit of a drama, how about we make it storm one night, then the next morning, a big predator, (Eustreptospondylus sp?) wound up stranded on the shorelines along with some dead marine animals. The thing is, "Gulliver" survived and proceed to terrorize the island and its inhabitants for years. |

I don't think Eustreptospondylus was from the Late Jurassic... Also, we must have a black feathered Archaeopteryx. |

Yo, das racist. Anyway, how about some unidentified megalosaur then? On a related note, we should portray these Compsognathus as such that they will be undeniably epic. From the evidence of mollusks and shellfishes found in the guts of the fossilized specimens, they were semi-aquatic. And we should have a fight scene Compsognathus VS Pterodactylus. |
