Work in progress. Above earth, zooms in on a canyon. A misty morning. Effigia is nipping some ferns. Then Effigia is being chased by Gojirasaurus dodging obstacles. A tail looms out of the mist. Knocks the Gojirasaurus to the ground, saving the Effigia. Revealed to be a Desmatosuchus. Intro. |

This one is still a work in progress. |

If we are doing Petrified Forest, it should be changed to Chindesaurus chasing a Shuvosaurus. |

The opening isn't necessarily using a location in the episode. |

I've had another idea for this episodes intro: It's the middle of the night, dry season at Ghost Ranch. The sky is clear but a storm is raging in the distance. A large flock of Coelophysis mill around in a gully, lapping up what water that remains from a river that once flowed through it. Something large is seen slinking through the dry vegetation towards the gully. Lightning crashes across the sky as the Coelophysis turn to face the large figure of a Postosuchus standing over them on the gully bank. Another crack of lightning and thunder occurs overhead, but the rumbling of thunder strangely continues. It soon becomes apparent that it's not thunder, as the flash flood rockets around the bend, straight towards the Coelophysis, Postosuchus and the screen... |

Those two are too mainstream, as Admiral says. At least with Desmatosuchus, Effigia and Gojirasaurus hardly anyone knows them. |

True, but DK's suggestion does sound like it would pull the viewer in, and it would make for an epic shot............. |
