Before I go any further, I'm not saying this is now a segment, I'm merely suggesting it as a segment. Specifically, as a replacement for the Kaiparowits Formation segment. Why am I suggesting this? Well, I was never too happy with the Kaiparowits segment, it never appealed to me and just didn't feel right, and when I came across the Kirtland Formation, I felt it would make a good replacement for the Kaiparowits Formation. Both are from South Western USA, so it still shows a South Western ecosystem, and it also has very similar fauna. But it has a much larger range of fauna. Check it out for yourselves. |

I still prefer the Kaiparowits Formation, because of all the wierd ceratopsians. |

Granted, the Kaiparowits Formation does have some weirder Ceratopsians, like I said, it is rather lacking in species diversity. |

I still insist on Kaiparowits, since we've gotten so far into the planning stage for it............. |

Any particular reasons why we should stick with the Kaiparowits? |

It can touch better on ceratopsian diversity and strangeness. |
