INTRODUCTION

Of course, in a Role Playing forum, we're going to need profiles of your characters.
But you're gonna have to go through the process of creating one, and getting it accepted by Moderators.

We're not one of those policy Nazi kind of threads, but we do have some rules we ask you to follow.

First off, you need to read through the entire forum. Everything on it is needed to participate in the role play. Secondly, we require at least semi-literacy. If you can't post an average of one 8-10 sentence paragraph, then we're not for you. However, we do understand writer's block, and it is acceptable to have it, but one-liners are never ok. Third, we do not require it, but we ask you to use templates for your posts, better known as "making it pretty". Bland is boring, but the minimum we ask is a picture of the character in every post. Fourth, do not post until you have received notification from Ravyn Raver, Jelly-Stick, or zackaroth that you and your character are accepted. All profiles should be sent via PM to any of those three. Fifth, please title the PM "I Wanna Be A Super [Hero/Villain]!" (make sure you edit that to your character’s affiliation) so we know why you're PMing us. Sixth, we allow both original characters and canon characters. Don't feel restricted to just Marvel and DC Comics. Seventh, we are ok with you having more than one character, but make sure you can handle what you have. Don't bite off more than you can chew! Eighth, please post once a week for each character. We want to keep this thread alive, so this is a MUST! However, if you are going to be unavailable to post for an extended amount of time, notify Jelly-Stick or Ravyn Raver including about how long you will be gone. We also understand extenuating circumstances. If something unexpected comes up, just notify us as soon as possible. Ninth, please do not use a character someone already has. No one wants 2 Peter Parker Spidermen. The only exception is multiple versions of a character (such as Barry Allen's Flash and Wally West's Flash) or a cloned version controlled by the same person. For example, if I had Natasha Stark clone herself and I puppeteered her clone. Tenth, make sure you read the character limitations to make sure your character is not too powerful (this goes especially for OCs). If you have any questions or problems with the limitation section, please PM Ravyn Raver with your comments. Also, just because they're "super" doesn't mean they have to have powers. Super heroes/villians don't have to have powers, like Batman or Lex Luthor. Eleventh, please be civil! If someone asks you not to do something (within reason) or asks you to stop doing something, please do. We do not want bad blood within the thread, so any arguing should be avoided at all costs and settled immediately through PMs. If needed, ask one of the moderators (see the list) to mediate. We're here for a reason, guys. Twelfth, we support and encourage creativity and plot twists, but do not start an event that the moderators have not approved! Our event arcs are set up carefully and with good reason for the order. Violation of this rule WILL NOT be tolerated! Thirteen, we understand that some characters will be more powerful than others, but no single character should win all of his or her battles. No one is perfect, and everybody makes mistakes that can cost them the win. Fourteenth, let's all make this a fun and friendly role play. And finally, when sending your PM, put "It's a bird! No, a plane!" at the bottom of your message to let us know that you've read all of the rules. Remember that these rules are subject to change at any point and without warning.
