SUPERHERO - SHEILD File Appearance: ![]() Kaede Gabrielle Chi (1) . (2) (Super Suit 1) . (Super Suit 2) Name: Kaede Gabrielle Chi Alias: Kae or K Age: 20 Gender: Female Ethnicity: French/Japanese Race: Mutant/Human Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Birthday: June 1st, 2061 Height: 5'3" Weight: 120 lbs Hair color: Chestnut brown Eye color: Bright Blue Dominant Arm: Ambidextrous Markings/Tattoos: None Affiliation: Hero Skill File Main Weapon: None. She doesn't use weapons to the point where she would have any expertise. Fighting Type: Hand to hand combatant expert. Fighting Style: Boxing, and a mixture of Hung Gar and Kung Fu fighting styles (although she doesn't use them traditionally). Her fighting style is more 'street' than anything traditional. Weapon Skills: None. Super-Powered Abilities: - Telekinesis - Healing Factor (although it's very slow) Physical Strengths: - Agile: Although she is small, she is quick and nimble because of her slender figure and her strong physique. - Pain Tolerance: She has a very high pain tolerance for someone who is built physically like a normal human. She can continue fighting, up until her body reaches it's absolute breaking point, and even then, she can exceed her bodies limit. - Strength: Although she doesn't have extraordinary strength, she can throw one hell of a sucker-punch. Physical Weaknesses: - Normal Build: Although she has extraordinary powers, Kaede's body is still built like that of a 5'3", 20 year old woman. So her body can easily be injured if she isn't defending herself properly. She can even die from injuries, if they are severe enough. Her healing factor can only regenerate broken tissue so quickly. - Vulnerability: Kaede's hands are the only outlet for her powers to be released and controlled. IF her hands are to be injured, she can't use her powers. - Exceeding Body Limits: Because of her high pain tolerance and her tendency to push her body to the absolute edge, Kaede sometimes ends up injuring herself further, or not even noticing that she is badly injured. Mental Strengths: - Willpower: She has inhuman willpower, which allows her to push through even the most difficult of battles, and push her body past it's limit. - Discipline of the Mind: Kaede can concentrate under extreme conditions, which allows her to use her powers to the fullest. - Heart of a Warrior: Kaede lives to fight for the things she believes in, and for those who cannot fight for themselves. Through and through, she is a fighter, and will do what is necessary for those she swears to protect. - Loyal: Kaede is extremely loyal and trusting in her friends. Her friends and the people of New York City as a reason to keep pressing on and fighting, even when she doesn't believe in herself. Fighting for herself has never been a motive. - Moral: She has a strong moral when it comes to her rules and regulations for crime fighting, although sometimes she can get carried away. She believes that people who do crime should be punished harshly, and, when it is absolutely necessary, she will even kill an opponent if it means protecting what she loves and must defend. Mental Weaknesses: - Emotional: Kaede has never been very good at talking about her feelings with others. To her, it is showing weakness, when she has this image of herself always having to be the strong one in any given situation. Because of this, Kaede often carries the weight of the world on her shoulders, and doesn't allow others to help ease the burden on her. She tends to pin the blame on herself over everything, even if she wasn't the one at fault. - Alcoholism: Kaede is an alcoholic, so booze is definitely a weakness for her when she needs an escape. Often times, she'll resort to drinking when she wants to repress a thought or to ignore a situation. - Anger: She has a nasty temper, which is detrimental during fights. Her pride and arrogance also gets in the way of her judgement at times, and her snappy remarks and rude attitude often get her into a lot of trouble. - Spontaneity: She is very spontaneous, and doesn't really think things through when she should. Living in the moment and acting on it isn't always a good thing, especially in a fight. - Self-Image/Complexes: Kaede hates feeling helpless or vulnerable, as well as letting anyone see her that way. Feeling lesser or weaker than that of her comrades or opponents is something she does not allow, and when people point it out or try to help her, she always pushes them away. Often times, this feeds into her anger problem, as it is a way for her to protect herself when she puts up a wall. - Fear: She isn't very much afraid of anything, but Kaede is afraid of being abandoned and left completely alone. This happened after she had thought she was the last member of her team to survive the war in the Alternate Universe. Additional Info File Personality: A prideful girl with a spit-fire tongue, Kaede is someone who doesn't take shit from anyone or anything. Although her outer-shell is tough as nails, she is actually very high-strung and socially inept. She is very prideful, where many people mistake it for arrogance (which is also a front). However, she takes her job very seriously, putting the protection and safety of the city and her friends before herself. And although she does have a rather nasty temper, she has a heart of gold, and is extremely loyal to her friends (even if she shows her affection through tough love), which is most likely why people seem to put up with her, or find her personality at all attractive. Likes: Anything that involves her work, hanging out with her friends, coffee, hot tea, comfortable (roomy) clothing, winning and hard liquor. Dislikes: Wasting time, sweets, being called short, losing, being talked back to, tight clothing (like her super suits), being surprised or snuck up on and not being able to drink when she wants to. History: She discovered her powers when she was 7 years old. She had developed her super-powers rather early, unlike many other mutants who normally gained their powers around puberty. Her powers, unfortunately, went haywire during recess at school. Kaede had been teased by her classmates, and in a fit of anger, her powers practically made a tornado out of the classroom.. She was expelled from school, leaving Kaede terrified of ever going back to a public school. Her parents, understanding her anxiety, homeschooled her, and allowed her to practice her talents. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't master her power. She could lift other objects, but they would shatter or explode in her grasp. Kaede, being the only one in her family to possess mutant abilities, found it hard for her to relate to most people. She didn't know that outside of her small farm, that there were other children just like her. When she was 13, Kaede was forced to live on her own after her families tragic death. She witnessed the shooting from the inside of a closet in her home. The man who had committed the murder was never caught. As Kaede made her way to the city, she turned her gaze toward the heroes of New York. They were like beacons of hope for her, in a world that appeared to be unforgiving and lonely. She admired their strength, their courage, and their moral. That no matter what the circumstance, they were always there to save the day from peril. From that moment on, she dedicated her life to be just like the heroes she watched from afar and read about when she lived in the city. She wanted to fight crime against those who attack the innocent to avenge her parents tragic death, but has since then, accepted that she had brought justice to them. At 16, she met up with Captain America in the slums of New York, who had taken her in and raised her as his own. With him, she founded the Avengers, and became a symbol of hope alongside her teammates. However, just as she was getting used to her new family, they were stripped away from her after a battle in a different dimension. The portal she stepped through to return to her current dimension had her return to her own time three years before her team mates did. Having been the only superhero team in the entire city, Kaede was left alone to protect the city, in turn, forcing her into a life of intense responsibility. From all the stress of having to carry the burden of being New Yorks 'greatest hero' and symbol of justice, she fell into poor habits. After the team returned one-by-one to their proper dimension, Kaede was ecstatic to see her friends return home, although they were appalled by the life Kaede had led in order to cope with the loss of the team. Later, a mission involving Victor Von Doom in Latveria went sour. After witnessing Logan's torture and being raped by Dr. Doom himself, she nearly starts a war, which ends up with many of her friends dying in order to prevent the worlds destruction. Kaede didn't take the losses very well, and left Latveria severely traumatized by her experiences there. To top it all off, a new threat to the city, EEF, kills Captain America in a struggle to stop the alien from burning New York to the ground. Now, with New York in extreme peril, and villains running rampant through the streets, a new evil threatens to destroy everything she has fought to protect throughout her life. Team Affiliation: Solo Vigilante (Former Avenger) Other: She likes to keep her hands away from her enemies, because it's where her powers are only able to be released. Her punches are quick because of this. Far more skilled in long range attacks, since her powers need room to be really effective. Her addiction to alcohol is fueled because of the fact that she can't stay drunk or get hangovers from over drinking, since her healing factor prevents her from doing so. She also hates when people point out her flaws, thinking that when people notice them, it's a sign of weakness or inferiority, especially when it comes to her looks (ie: her breast size, her height, etc.). Favorite Quote: "When one door closes, another one opens..." SUPER VILLAIN - SHEILD File Appearance: ![]() Razer (In-Suit) . In-Suit (Powered Up) (Out of Costume 1) . (Out of Costume 2) Name: Razer Alias: None Age: 24 Gender: Male Ethnicity: Alien from the Forgotten Zone Race: Unknown Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Birthday: April 12th, 2056 (On an Earth Calender) Height: 6'0" Weight: 138 lbs Hair color: None (He doesn't have any hair) Eye color: Ice blue Dominant Arm: Right Markings/Tattoos: Black markings along his face (around his eyes, cheeks and chin) and snaking all along his body. Appears to be either a part of his alien physique, or tattoos. Affiliation: Super Villain Skill File Main Weapon: The Red Lantern Ring Fighting Type: He uses the power of his ring to fight his enemies, since he isn't very capable when it comes to hand to hand combat. Fighting Style: He only really knows the basics when it comes to fighting. Weapon Skills: - He primarily creates and uses swords, spears and knives when using his Red Lantern powers. Super-Powered Abilities: - All of his power comes from the Red Lantern Ring that was given to him by his leader, Atrocitus, which is fueled by his rage, and recharged by using the Red Lantern. Physical Strengths: - He is hard hitting and fast on his feet, making him a formidable opponent. - Razer has very good stamina and endurance. Physical Weaknesses: - He doesn't have the strongest physique. - Razer isn't quite as well trained as the other Lanterns, so he is more of a loose-canon, rather than a well-oiled killing machine. - When his ring is removed, especially when forced off, his body needs time to readjust, and is very weak after the shock. Mental Strengths: - He is extremely loyal, although he doesn't seem to be the type to put his trust in anyone, or his allegiance. - He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and is strongly apposed to killing innocents, because of his strong feelings toward his past. - Razer has a fighting spirit of that of a warrior, and will fight for whatever cause he is committed to. He fights honorably, and when a fight is lost, he acknowledges, and accepts defeat. Mental Weaknesses: - Razer has a low sense of self-worth, which causes him to make decisions where he could care less whether he threw his life away or not. - Although he does has a strong sense of right and wrong, he is easily swayed to cross a line into stone cold murderer if his duty lies there. - Although he does fight honorably by his own volition, there are times where he does lose control of himself because of the ring and his anger, where if he loses a fight, he will resort to playing dirty. - Using his past experiences against him. Additional Info File Personality: A cold, calculating man. Although he is literally fueled by his anger and hate, he stays quiet and to himself until provoked. His manners are that of a gentlemen, and although he is soft-spoken, he isn't afraid of sharing what is on his mind, or dropping a snarky remark here and there. He is very loyal to those he trusts, and also has a strong code of conduct. However, his self-loathing and destructive nature causes him to have a low sense of self-worth. Likes: Solitude, good food, and good manners. Dislikes: Green Lanterns, killing innocents, and wasting time. History: Razer was from a planet in the Forgotten Zone where he lived with his love, Ilana. Though Ilana wanted Razer to be something like a doctor or teacher, Razer wanted to join the militia to protect her and their home from warlords of other neighboring planets. Although she protested against him joining the military, he convinced her that the only meaning to his existence was to protect the things that mattered to him the most. After Razer joined the militia, Razer left the planet to fight off the forces that threatened to destroy the only home he had ever known. When the long battle was over, he returned home, only to find his wife dead. Razer mourned her untimely demise, confused as to why, despite all his efforts, ended up losing everything he fought for. It was then that he vowed to seek vengeance against the ones who took away the only thing that he truly cared for. Filled with self-loathing and hate for the ones who destroyed his life, Razer was then approached by a Red Lantern Ring. A voice spoke to him of retribution and reincarnation, as well as incredible power... Atrocitus spoke to him through the ring, promising Razer that he will have revenge. Razer, not knowing where else to turn, gladly gave himself to the ring, and accepted the contract that Atrocitus had given him. This ring, fueled by the pure rage he felt for his loses, and the rage he felt against himself, his transformation began. Razer then left his home planet behind, realizing that he was in fact the last of his kind, he is brainwashed with the thought that the Green Lanterns could have helped his people fight off the attack against his people, and in turn, save his wife when he could not. Team Affiliation: Red Lantern Corps. Other: The ring, once slipped onto his finger, fuses itself to his body, becoming a part of him. Although it is possible for him to take the ring off, it is extremely painful, and has the power to even kill him. Favorite Quote: "With blood and rage of crimson red, Ripped from a corpse so freshly dead, Together with our hellish hate, We'll burn you all--That is your fate!" - Red Lantern Oath Theme Song/s: Don't Know When But A Day Is Gonna Come - Bright Eyes Edited by Jelly-Stick, Aug 6 2012, 12:39 AM.

SUPERHERO - SHEILD File Appearance: ![]() Badou . Stray Dog (Closer Look) Name: Badou Alias: Stray Dog Age: 22 Gender: Male Ethnicity: German Race: Human/Canine Hybrid Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Birthday: December 5, 2059 Height: 5'10" Weight: 145 lbs Hair color: Blonde Eye color: Green (Changes to gold when he becomes 'Canine') Dominant Arm: Right Markings/Tattoos: His body is covered in tattoo's that he was branded with when he was a child. Affiliation: Super heroes Skill File Main Weapon: Knuckle Blades Fighting Type: Hand-to-hand and close combat is his specialty. Fighting Style: None. He doesn't have a specialized fighting style. Weapon Skills: - He is very quick with his strikes, and attacks in flurries for maximum damage. - Very good with knives or blades. Super-Powered Abilities: - Healing Factor (Very fast) - Enhanced Strength/Senses - The 'Serum' Physical Strengths: - His healing factor works extremely fast, and can heal nearly any injury. It can even heal brain tissue. - The Serum, when activated, gives him incredible strength and agility. - His senses are like that of an animal, so senses like his eyesight and smell are 6x as powerful as a normal humans. - He has a very high pain tolerance, almost to the point of sadism. Physical Weaknesses: - His healing factor, although it is extremely fast, if he has an object impaled through him, his body cannot heal the injured tissue unless the object is removed, or if it breaks down the objects material within the body during the healing process. This takes much longer, and if he is bleeding enough, he can die from the blood-loss or fatal injury. - When his Serum is activated (normally against his will), he has absolutely no control over his body, so anything that is considered a threat in the area will be attacked. He doesn't stop until all targets are dead, so he doesn't like to use this power. - The Serum is activated whenever he feels extremely threatened or angry. He has very little control over this power, and it is extremely painful when he resists. - Just because he's strong doesn't make his body invincible. If he doesn't fight someone properly, or if he's under the influence of the Serum, he can wear down his body or hurt himself severely, which can slow him down. Mental Strengths: - His arrogance and massive ego forces him to try and come out on top during a fight, no matter what it takes. - His faithfulness to his close friends drives him to do almost anything for anyone. - When he says he's going to do something, he does it. Mental Weaknesses: - Badou doesn't like being left alone, especially when he feels as if he has been abandoned. He tends to mope around when he comes across a situation like this. - Any mention of his sister, Lily, or his past as a genetic experiment. - The 'Serum' acts as a second personality for him, speaking to him as if it were another person inside of him. Talking to this 'person' makes him very nervous and unstable, and is a huge distraction during a fight. - Badou is very laid back and often times lazy. Additional Info File Personality: Flirtatious and self-absorbed, Badou is a text-book womanizer with a playboy-complex. In a strange sort of way, he has a profound respect for women, although he definitely abuses and uses them for his own pleasure. His personality is very dog-like, where he is sometimes bashful, and needy of attention just like any house pet. Being scolded or looked down upon hurts his ego immensely, which inflames his rather childish attitude. However, he does have redeeming qualities, such as his fun-loving, laid back nature. Likes: Massages, women, food, children and sleeping. Dislikes: Being alone, being scolded, people who are stuck-up, and cock-blocking. History: Badou was part of a mass experiment that took humans and turned them into 'hybrids'. This happened to him as a child. Machinery was implanted into his spinal cord, which injected a kind of serum that causes him to go into blind rages when he felt threatened or angry. Everyday, they would be experimented on. And once they had enough test subjects, they were put out into an arena, where they fought endlessly until a certain amount survived. The strongest ones tore the others apart, and Badou was the youngest out of all the survivors. He was only 10. Killed over 100 people within 30 minutes, including his little sister. Eventually, the government dropped the experiment and pretended like it never happened, and planned to execute the living test subjects. They kept Badou and a couple of others alive in secret. When he reached his 20's, he met up with Kaede, and became close friends, even forming a group for a short time. However, due to recent events, they have decided to go their separate ways. Team Affiliation: Solo Vigilante Other: Had a short romantic relationship with Kaede. Didn't last long however, because of his womanizing ways. Favorite Quote: "A woman has got to love a bad man once or twice in her life...” Theme Song/s: Love Me Dead - Ludo Edited by Jelly-Stick, Aug 6 2012, 12:54 AM.

SUPERHERO - SHEILD File Appearance: ![]() Answer The Question Name: Charles Victor Szasz (Also goes by Vic Sage or Charlie) Alias: The Question Age: 32 Gender: Male Ethnicity: Caucasian Race: Human Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Birthday: June 25, 2049 Height: 6'2" Weight: 182 lbs (82 kg) Hair color: Black (Dyed), Strawberry Blonde (Natural) Eye color: Brown Dominant Arm: Left Markings/Tattoos: He has scars all over his body from his vigilante outings. Affiliation: Heroes Skill File Main Weapon: None Fighting Type: Hand-to-Hand combat Fighting Style: Master of the Martial Arts (Especially at Dragon Style Kung-Fu) Weapon Skills: None Super-Powered Abilities: None Physical Strengths: - He is a master of hand-to-hand combat. He is easily capable of incapacitating large groups of criminals and has knocked out trained policemen and soldiers with minimal effort. - He has shown to be a proficient acrobat, and has used this skill to survive a fatal fall by rebounding off building sides and somersaulting to create more drag. He, like many other non-powered vigilantes, can get around by jumping from rooftop to rooftop - Question has incredible endurance, where he can run for long distances on any terrain. Physical Weaknesses: - He is only human, so he can be severely injured during battle. - When severely injured, or in the healing process, he doesn't tend to slow down or allow himself to heal properly until a mission is done, which further injures him. Mental Strengths: - The Question possesses genius intelligence and has an extremely unpredictable way of thinking. He can make a weapon out of common objects and often uses his mind to win fights. - He has indomitable will, that could rival Kaede's. His training and lifestyle demanded much determination, and he was rarely known to give up or surrender especially in physical confrontations. - Question is a master detective, and is said to be the second greatest detective after Batman. One of many, he has a superior inquisitive mind. Mental Weaknesses: - Questions very black and white moral and way of thinking when it comes to the world isn't always good when it comes to judgement or bringing about justice. - He is (arguably) ruthless and insane. The fact that he is a conspiracy theorist and the lengths he goes to catch criminals border on the cusp of being deranged. - His obsessive behavior causes him to be rather anti-social and hard to work with at times. - He is completely unpredictable, so working with him can be difficult, as he could turn on someone at any moment. Additional Info File Personality: Question has a very strange character. A grizzled detective, always seeming to be talking in riddles. He is a completely obsessive loner, with a taste for dark humor — skeptical, eccentric, paranoid, antagonistic and somewhat unpredictable. He is given to believing in abstruse conspiracy theories and is suspicious of even his fellow heroes. Likes: Unknown Dislikes: Unknown History: Victor Sage was born Charles Victor Szasz, and grew up an orphan who had a reputation as a troublemaker. Szasz prided himself in defiantly enduring the physical abuse of the Catholic orphanage where he was housed. Though he managed to get into college, higher learning did not mellow his violent tendencies. Some time during college, he brutally beat a drug dealer for giving him LSD, which had caused Sage to doubt his own senses under its influence. After graduating from college (where he nursed an unrequited crush on fellow student, Venessa Ishikawa), Sage made his mark as a highly outspoken and aggressive reporter with a reputation for obnoxiousness in Gotham CIty. He then moved to television journalism, which eventually led him to investigate Dr. Arby Twain. This particular story would alter the course of Sage's life permanently. Sage was approached by his former professor, a scientist named Aristotle ( "Tot" ) Rodor, who told Sage about an artificial skin called Pseudoderm, which Rodor had co-developed with Dr. Twain based on the notes of Gotham criminal Bart Magan and research into Gingold, the chemical responsible for the Elongated Man's powers. Pseudoderm was intended to work as an applied skin-like bandage with the help of a bonding gas, but had an unforeseen toxicity which was fatal when applied to open wounds. Though Rodor and Twain agreed to abandon the project and parted ways, Professor Rodor later discovered that Dr. Twain planned to proceed with an illegal sale of the invention to Third World nations, despite the risk to human health. Sage resolved to stop him but had no way of going after Dr. Twain without exposing himself. Rodor suggested that Sage use a mask made of Pseudoderm to cover his famous features. Disguised by the Pseudoderm mask and armed with information, Sage eventually caught up with Dr. Twain, stopped the transaction, and extracted a confession from him. He then left Twain bound in Pseudoderm in an ironic twist. On television, Vic Sage reported on Dr. Twain's illegal activities. With his first venture a success, Sage decided that this new identity would be useful for future investigations. He continued to work with Professor Rodor, who supplied the Pseudoderm and eventually modified the bonding gas, giving it the ability to alter the color of Sage's hair and clothing, as well. Vic became good friends with Bruce Wayne and Batman who became a mentor to him in both of his identities. Shortly after debuting in Gotham, Vic Sage relocated to New York City in order to join the staff of WWB-TV as a crusading journalist. He would continue to operate as The Question there, and would make an ally of New York's other resident hero, Captain America and the other Avengers. Of course, after their disappearance along with the other Avengers, he found that Kaede was still alive. He would also travel to other cities in the course of his investigations, and eventually teamed up with Batman and briefly worked alongside Kaede's make-shift team as a source of information. The Question's early crime-fighting career was somewhat successful, but his black-and-white moral viewpoint and lack of commitment would soon lead to a turning point for both Sage and his alter ego. Team Affiliation: All teams, when needed. However, works solo most of the time. Other: The Question is a conspiracy theorist through and through. The Question's various conspiracy theories, which he insists are a single, tied-together theory, are usually something along the lines of Boy Bands causing global warming, or fluoride toothpaste creating signals to track people down by satellite. Favorite Quote: "I'm nobodies damn hero. Not anymore." - The Question Theme Song/s: Where Do We Draw The Line - Poets of the Fall Edited by Jelly-Stick, Aug 5 2012, 10:28 PM.

SUPERHERO - SHEILD File Appearance: ![]() Superman . Clark Kent Name: Clark Kent (Kryptonian Name: Kal-El) Alias: Superman (Retired) Age: 161 Gender: Male Ethnicity: Kryptonian Race: Alien from Krypton Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Birthday: February 29th, 1920 (Earth Calender) Height: 6'3" Weight: 238 lbs Hair color: Black Eye color: Blue Dominant Arm: Right Markings/Tattoos: His skin is too tough for tattoos, but he does have a few scars on his body from battles in his past. Affiliation: Heroes Skill File Main Weapon: He doesn't use weapons. Fighting Type: Hand to Hand combat Fighting Style: He never studied any sort of martial arts. Weapon Skills: None Super-Powered Abilities: - Super Strength: He can lift up to 200 quintillion tons (two hundred billion billion tons) Although it is VERY difficult for him to carry these objects. His power is fueled by the solar energy of our yellow sun, his muscles using the power of the sun to fuel all his abilities. - X-Ray Vision: Gives Superman the ability to see through solid objects (with the exception of lead), and if concentrated enough, he can use this power to shoot beams of concentrated energy from his eyes (Heat Vision). - Flight: Superman is has the ability to fly to impossible heights, even being able to fly into space. - Super Speed: This ability allows him to move, react, run, and fly extraordinarily fast. Physical Strengths: - "Invulnerability": His skin is impenetrable to common weapons like knives, bullets, or even tank missiles. His super human physique is something to be reckoned with, although there are ways to hurt Superman, but it would have to be superhuman, like himself. - Stamina: As long as Superman doesn't use up the energy he soaks up from the suns radiation too quickly, he can regain his stamina pretty quickly, or appear to never get tired. - Body: His body is in peak physical condition. - Slower Aging Process: Superman, although he is over 100 years old, still looks to be around the age of 35. Being not of this world, and also with the help of his cells rejuvenating powers, he ages at a much slower rate than a normal human, keeping him looking as young as ever. Physical Weaknesses: - Kryptonite: Kryptonite originated as radioactive fragments of the planet Krypton, created by fusion during the explosion that destroyed it. Superman's cells store electromagnetic radiation from the rays of a yellow sun, and converts it into energy, manifesting as his super-powers. When Superman is exposed to the most common variety, green kryptonite (within roughly ten feet or less of any size or amount), its high-band radiation rapidly interferes with this process, causing severe physical pain and the loss of his powers. Long enough exposure to green kryptonite may eventually lead to death. Kryptonite radiation can only be blocked by the use of lead. - Red Sun Radiation: Natural in Krypton's planetary system, red solar radiation replaces the higher-yield yellow solar energy in Superman's cells, robbing him of the fuel for his powers. This process does not have the painful, crippling and fever-like symptoms of Kryptonite, and essentially leaves him with the normal health and abilities of a human in his size and shape, as it did for the entire population of Krypton during its existence. Exposure to yellow solar radiation causes his powers to return. Other than red solar radiation, using up his stored yellow solar energy (without continued exposure to yellow solar radiation) also causes Superman to lose his powers. - Magic: Superman's powers offer no protection against magic. Superman's powers, extraordinary as they are, are still the result of natural phenomena, not supernatural. As a result, spells cast on Superman affect him the same as they would anyone else. Generally, he suffers the vulnerability provided he is directly attacked with magic. - Massive Physical Forces: While Superman is extremely resilient to most physical harm, he is not completely as 'invulnerable' as he may seem, and is susceptible to temporary injury from physical forces usually delivered to him by some of his super-powered enemies. Superman's ability to gain energy from sunlight may be counter-acted if he is badly beaten so quickly that his body doesn't have time to heal. - Common Ailments: Yes, even Superman can catch the common cold. Mental Strengths: - Memory: Although he is only slightly above average when it comes to intelligence, he has a superb memory, having the ability to totally recall everything he has ever seen, read or heard (to a certain extent). - Code Of Conduct: He follows a strict code of conduct, vowing to never take a life, and to only fight when it is absolutely necessary. Although he tries to encourage and push his idealist moral onto other people, some people refer to him as a 'big blue boy scout' for not being able to make the hard decisions. But he doesn't let comments like that sway him from his ideals. - Reliable: Clark sticks to his promises, and is always there for anyone who needs the help. With his super powered abilities, he feels that he is obligated to help anyone who needs him, even if they don't ask for the help. - Modesty: Although Clark has abilities that, what some may consider, 'God-like' in nature, Clark never views himself as anything more than that of a human member of society. His kind-hearted nature and upbringing on his Kansas farm really shaped who Clark is today. Mental Weaknesses: - Over Protective: Since he lost his home world Krypton, he is very protective of Earth, and his family and friends. - Loneliness: Clark, now that he is a man out of his own time, is overcome with extreme loneliness. Although, he has always felt sort of out of place and alone on Earth, him being so different from everyone else. Now that his wife, Lois, is dead, along with everyone who has ever known him, a world without Superman isn't such a strange idea anymore. - Self-Doubt: Superman, having been out of the field for many years now, doubts himself constantly if he is up to the task of ever donning the cape again. Because of this, he doesn't even think twice about ever joining the super hero ranks to help the war effort, since he feels that his time as a hero has passed. - Shut-In: Superman has kept himself away from alot of people since he feels disconnected from the world around him now that his 'world' has come and gone a long time ago. He hasn't really bothered talking to anyone outside of work, and when he's not at work he's either inside his apartment, or visiting his old Kansas farm house in the middle of nowhere. Additional Info File Personality: Clark Kent is a simple, kind-hearted man who would do anything to aid others in need. Not because it would bring him glory, but because he felt like it was his duty to help those who needed it. His modesty and polite demeanor makes him a very approachable guy, but he has his share of social anxieties now that he has been avoiding contact from the outside world, although he hides this pretty well, as he does with his other emotions like loneliness. He hardly ever gets angry, and is very patient with people, willing to listen to reason and compromise to anyone as long as it isn't criminal. Although he believes that his time as the protector of this planet has passed, and the world has new heroes to save the planet, everyone could use more hope now than ever before. But his self-doubt and the more time that has passed between his world and the present time keep him from ever donning the cape again. Likes: Home cooking, manners, helping people, writing, music (from his era) and strolling in the park. Dislikes: Criminals, poor manners, cursing and when people take his advice for granted. History: Superman is born Kal-El on the alien planet Krypton. His parents, Jor-El and Lara become aware of Krypton's impending destruction and Jor-El begins constructing a spacecraft that would carry Kal-El to Earth. During Krypton's last moments, Jor-El places young Kal-El in the spacecraft and launches it. Jor-El and Lara die as the spacecraft barely escapes Krypton's fate. The explosion transforms planetary debris into kryptonite, a radioactive substance that is lethal to super-powered Kryptonians such as Clark, who was given his gifts by the solar radiation of Earths yellow sun. The spacecraft lands in the rural United States, where it is found by a passing motorist. Jonathan and Martha Kent, two well mannered, simple Kansas farmers, adopt Kal-El and name him Clark Kent, raising him up with the same values and teachings of their family. As Clark grows up on Earth, he and his adoptive parents discover that he has superhuman powers. The Kents teach Clark to use these powers responsibly to help others and fight crime, since his extraordinary gifts were beyond that of anyone they had ever seen before. As he grew older, he moved away from Kansas to the big city of Metropolis, and takes a job as a reporter at the Daily Planet, where he meets his friends and co-workers, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen and Editor Perry White. Superman becomes the subject of frequent headline stories written by Lois, and the two become romantically attracted to each other, and later married. As time goes on, he soon becomes a world famous hero, even more so than the First Avenger, Captain America. The responsibility of the planet Earth was tough to bare on his shoulders, but it was his job, his duty to keep the world safe from harm. It was all he had. The only home he truly had anymore. years go by, Superman looking exactly the same as he had since he reached the ripe age of 25. Eventually there came a time when he couldn't go outside without the Superman suit on because of his lack of an aging process. But as the world around him grew older and older, so did the ones he loved, and protected. Lois was only getting older... and finally it came time that she, the love of his life, had to leave him behind for the next world. One by one, he watched as each and every person he ever loved pass away, until finally, he was alone. A man out of time, and yet still a part of it somehow. Clark, after losing everything, vowed never to put the cape on again. The Silver Age of superheroes was over... and leaving behind a name that is only spoken of in legend now was good enough for him. He'd made his mark. It wasn't his place to take up the mantle of superhero anymore. He had his time to be the man everyone wanted him to be. The time to be a hero. It was only a matter of time before all he once knew was gone, and to redo it all again would be too painful. All that he cared for is dead and buried, along with Lois and everyone else. So when he disappeared, the world kept on turning without him. Even during the wars that tore the world apart. It wasn't his place to fight, not alongside these new heroes. It was their world now. Team Affiliation: Retired Superhero Other: Although Clark doesn't want to put on the suit again, he does help from time to time in his own little ways, still not jeopardizing hi identity, but still helping. And although his world is gone, he hasn't given up on the world or the people in it, nor is he torn apart by the thought of his past being long gone (he more just happily reflects back on the memories he shared with them), he just feels it isn't his place to fight anymore. Clark has never been one to mope around and feel sorry for himself for more than an instant. It just isn't in his blood. Favorite Quote: "It's never as bad as it seems. You're much stronger than you think you are. Trust me." Theme Song/s: Shake It Out - Florence + The Machine The Times They Are A-Changein - Bob Dylan Edited by Jelly-Stick, Aug 5 2012, 09:15 PM.
