Gun salute. ;)

about 11.30-11.45 ish. We landed at 9.30ish at Heathrow. Mum picked us up and we stayed at her house near Northampton to save us driving back over here last night.
Are you shattered or not so bad?? How long was the flight hunny??
not too bad. The flight didn't leave Cairo until 4pm their time so we got up about 9.30ish yesterday so it was a bit of a normal day. Idon't feel too bad but I can have another lie-in tomorrow if I need it. It was about 4 hours from Cairo to Zurich. We had an hour to wait at Zurich and then the flight from Zurich to Heathrow was about 90 minutes
Oh you had to change flights?? When are you back at work rach?? Monday??
yep...it worked out cheaper changing flights rather than going direct. Yep back to work on Monday.
We have flown from Glasgow a few times cos its cheaper..all to do with the kids going back to school in Scotland earlier than in England..
yep I guess living where you do has it's advantages! if we had flown direct e.g. with BA it would have cost about £100 extra each than it did with Swiss Air. As we were planning on a cheapish holiday we decided we may as well use Swiss Air and change in Zurich and save money
I flew with swiss air once..great company..really looked after us.. :D
yep they were great and it made a change from easyjet! the food/drink wasn't bad and there were the tvs to help pass the time
Chris liked the Airhostesses..he still talks about em now..
were they young and good looking? :o
They were..young and very good looking..made my old fella very happy.. :D
it always helps to keep the blokes happy.
Chris is a happy chappy..He's a good un.. :D

lol it was like that in Cairo! Matt (who we were staying with) was asking what we wanted to do. Me and Si weren't too bothered and were happy to do anything so then we were saying to Matt that he could decide which were the best bits to do as he's been there for a few months and got to know his way around. He is pretty laid back too so it sometimes took a while for one of us to actually decide what to do and where to go!!!

Sounds so typical of a fella Rach..
Is Matt an old friend??
Matt's old...as in he's his mid 30's!!!! :P :D
I've known him for about a year through work. He's about 3 months into a 6 month stint in Cairo. He's staying in a flat there which had a couple of spare rooms so he asked if Si and I wanted to go out there for a few days. As we only had to pay flight costs and for spending money we thought we would.
