I probably will end up going there as it will be somethign different that walking up hills/mountains and lazing on the beach

We stayed just outside Caernarvon and we had a great time.....apart from walking up Snowdon :angry:

we did Snowdon about 10 years ago. Would be good to do it again but might get the train up instead

maybe not
passed through there a few times when we stayed at a caravan park in Prestatyn when we were younger and it doesn't look the best of places

They pulled the old cafe down at the summit....not sure if the replacement is finished yet :)

they were still building it earlier in the year as there was a documentary on tv about it but not sure when it is due to be completed. I would have thought they'd have aimed to get it done by now ready for teh main holiday season

We went up by train the first time and the views were fantastic....we picked a really nice day.

Bedgellert and Llanberis are nice places for walking etc. B)

yep if you get a good day then the views are great

there's a nice ice cream and fudge shop in Bedgellert. We always seem to go there whenever we're on holiday

We stopped and spoke to a few walkers at the bottom of Snowdon before we went up and bumped into them again in the pub after our meal.

This is Snowdon at it's best.....we went up along the ridge on the right after following the dry-stone wall you can see B)

trust you to find all the decent pubs...for a glass of coke

I think we went up the Pygmy route and came down a different one but can't remember which
