Ah! There he is! Some of those varicose veins can look quite sexy in a certain light!
Some of them look like they've flattened some grass in their time. ;)
Play your cards right and maybe Doris will go home with grass-stained knees. ;)

not sure I shall examine all the pics on the website before the season starts to give me an idea of who to look at during the first game
Surely you look at them all in the flesh and then decide?

I have to have a short list...I can rule out most of the forwards anyway as they have dodgy ears

Fine thanks mate. REALLY looking forward to the new season now. (That's the fishing season Karen, obviously).
Know the feeling, although I could do with a couple more bits of equipment - got the stuff to get on with fishing already, but just need a cpl more bits in case i decide to enter any competitions and be successful. If not, I expect us to get bored early and not catch more than a sardine. ;)

My Mum was a dinner lady. I still remember the fearsome Mrs Holmes, chief dinner lady. You didn't piss about while she was around!

 that was pretty good thinking that up so quickly!!
maybe the police don't get to deal with many smurfs?
You'd think they'd have some sympathy too being the boys in blue and having to wear there hats all day too! Oh well!
:P they are probably wondering what you've hidden under your hat
Doesn't everybody though?
it would be ok if you didn't keep your mobile there. Each time it rings your head vibrates
Where else am I supposed to put it though? Our shorts/pants/trousers/whatever they are don't have pockets in them!
you need the smurf version of a manbag
A smurfbag? Can you imagine what Jokey would do if we all had smurfbags? I'd end up with Papa smurf's, Brainy would end up with handy's, and we'd all be in a right old cafuffle! Stop being silly! :D
you'll have to sew some pockets into your pants/shorts/whatever
Surely I'd have to cut some pockets first!
I have no idea. Ask Karen!!
Karen? I've sewn badges on to shirts, but never pockets. Do I have to sew or cut?
