yeah everything is great my end thanks, other than my job.
I have a new flat now so that is great, but every morning I hate getting out of bed because where I work is bollox. I will never be regarded good enough to move higher up (and frankly I don't want to) yet I am one of the better people in my department.
You poor love..something better will come your way..just keep looking..
I am currently job hunting tonight but lately there has not been anything out there for a while which is a bugger. Today I was talking to someone who works in the same department as me and he is crap at his job yet our manager is wanting him to be a leading role within the office working with Energy which could see him rise upto £21,000 a year. It isn't hard to be good at our job as all we do is input reports onto a access datatase from paperwork that the surveyor has sent into the office. Not too long back aswel the other one in our department was shite at his job yet he has managed to wangle his way in working right under our manager. The other thing that pisses me of is my Team Leader doesn't even notice me at all, he says two words to me all day and when there is a problem he tells the other two on my team but doesn't tell me. He also says everything about those two to the surveyors etc when they come in but I get fuck all mention. I do the hardest survey we can do within my role and I am one of the better ones at inputting hence why I have been put onto the hardest type of survey yet I get no where for being good. I am reluctant to kiss the managers arse to get far in life as I want to move up because I am bloody good at my job not because I do shitty errands for everybody. But it looks like I may have to start doing that. Sorry rant over.
You need to go higher with your problem Mark..there must be some sort of complaint procedure..It seems highly unfair to me..your team leader may not like you..but even so he can't treat you like that..
Yeah I know that, the only thing is though he is the best Authoriser we have and he has been there years so in all fairness I don't stand a chance. Also the poeple high up in my work force are all a bunch of tossers. Even more so now we have been taken over and these new ones have come in.

It's good that you put a value on your efforts and I'd be inclined to look for another job. Even if you start lower down, it will only be a matter of time before someone up above spots your ability.
You have to take your chances in life as no one will take them for you.
One thing I have learned is....As one door closes, another one opens :D
Yeah that true, I am on minimun wage though and I am at the bottom in my office as I do the lowest possible job.
I am hoping I can get a new job asap and is making me misserable at home.

Sometimes mountains can be made out of mole hills..you can build things up in your head to be far worse than it really is..
Think about the things you have,,your flat..your health..your family..I'm sure the job is pretty low down on your list of important things..you use it as they use you..it brings the money in every weeek ..and please..try to forget about it when you are not there.. :D
