Have you had thunder and lightening today?
I hate it when it's humid, you don't want to do anything.
No we haven't had any thunder and lightening..probably would of been better if we had..as 'orrible as it is..it does clear the air..
It does clear the air...I just hope it doesn't come back over night...I'll be under the bed if it does

Hi Hunny....Not bad thanks.......Nasty thunder storm earlier :o......I tried to get some pictures of the lightening but I was scared
You ok?
I said to Blue earlier..I don't like thunder and lightening.. My Nanna lived with us when I was girl..she had a stroke fairly young and my Mum looked after her..anyway she was absolutely terrified of it..I reckon thats where my fear came from..I swore I would never let my fear show in front of my kids..and I didn't..but its funny..our Andy is as tough as old boots..quite the macho man image..yet he's also scared stiff of thunder and lightening..and Rats too.. :)
Awww....I would never show my fear to the kids either......I just turn the TV up and close the curtains......My Dad used to work in Coventry and whilst there one weekend there was a really bad storm......A young 15 yr old lad stood under a tree......He died :o.......I've not liked it since....We actually saw the lightening hit the tree :( I did get a photo but haven't uploaded it yet.
How awful hunny..did you know the lad..?? you know that beach I posted the other day..the one where I told you I spent all my summers as a kid..and teenager..well a Lad I know well..dived off the via duct..the water wasn't deep enough,,he broke his neck..paralised ..he's still alive today..totally wheelchair bound,,even his speech is poor..in the early days he used to say he wishes he'd died..he doesn't say that now..I think he has learned to live with it..but I sometimes see a deep sadness in his eyes..
I didn't know the lad no..... That story is so sad.. Does he live life to the full now?...My Dads cousin was paralised in a car crash a long time ago....He was the same saying he wished he had died.....His mother was heart broken, She done everything for him...had the home adapted and everything....6 months later he did die :(...She was never down hearted though......She died 4 weeks ago :o
His life is extremely limited..he's married but he never fathered a child..poor love..he'd of made a great Dad..I'm not even sure if they have a sexual relationship..one hell of a woman if they don't..she was a nurse that cared for him at the time..
I think we would all do wht your Dads cousin did,,,,but by god it wouldn't be easy..it'd braek your heart wouldn't it Libby??
..at least they are together again now..pain free..well thats what I think..

Here you go Karen....It's a shit picture thought because I had nothing to focus on :o
Its a brilliant photo..I really think it is..you know for me photography isnt all about how good it looks,,that might sound bloody stupid,,but I know what I mean..you got a quick shot of mother nature at her best..and she's the tops for me.. like that photo I took of the nesting duck..not the greatest photo ever taken,,but a photo of nature at its best..she sits on that nest day and night..

Thanks for your comments darling...I really do appreciate them....It was a freak shot, as I took this picture there was a really loud bang of thunder.....I am happy I got something from it.
Your duck on the nest I was really interested in that...Bloody fantastic shot.
