Stupid question but what's people's perception of Bradford? What's our reputation like?
I've worked in Bradford quite a bit in the past mate, and I'm afraid it's not left a warm impression on me! Which part do you live in? Fantastic curry house up by the old Midland (?) hotel though in the city centre.
I used to work there! :o Baildon, near Shipley if you've heard of it?
I've been in The Shoulder of Mutton at Shipley and The Woolpack at Esholt.....oh and Harry Ramsden's
:o :o How do you remember the pubs and the places you've been to?
Because they have their names above the door  We also tried to book a B&B just behind the Shoulder of Mutton.....alongside the river I think.....or the canal. I've been to Bradford four times....3 for football and once to visit a friend.
Was your friend Peter Sutcliffe?

I've only been once and that was for the football.......Saw a donkey tied up on a piece of wasteland on our way home :o
 You'll always remember that! All i remember of Bristol is a crap 0-0 bore, a massive park we had to walk across, and there being loads of birds. :o
  Bristol is a very busy place.....I can only imagine that Bradford is too.....
It seems busy with all the homeless people chasing you for money!
That doesn't happen in Bradford as no f*cker has any money
Leeds is just as bad.
Some parts of Leeds are really nice. I have friends who live in Rawdon and Horsforth......Those areas are very nice. Mind you.....the trip to Elland Road leaves a lot to be desired. Anyone remember the double decker bus ride? Rach? :)
it was great  we only just about got to teh game on time and waited ages after the game to get back to teh shitty centre

Nowq I know Alex doesn't live there I can tell you what I really think of Bradford.
It's a grimy slum of unimproved terraces (largely Asian) and downmarket sink estates (mostly white).
Horrible place in the same league as Hull and Middlesbrough. And Rushden.
:P If I could afford to live elsewhere in Northants I would...
You can still get some bargains in MK - places like Netherfield & Fishermead.
they are on par with teh whole of Wellingborough and the eastern district of Northampton so no thanks
Snob! What's wrong with living amongst illegal immigrants, ASBO chavs and 13 year old single mothers?
go and live there then...
But I've got a big fuck-off house in a nice area. Why would I want to do that? Just trying to help you ease up the housing ladder .... :P
how about sharing your house with people who don't want to live in shitty areas?
When can you move in?
tomorrow?
OK. No Gooners in the house though. Summer house OK?

I believe there might be somewhere in the SW of the estate - never been over there. I'll get my man to investigate.
