Mylos - The Tropical Continent

General Description
The sound of rushing water, and wildlife fills the ears of anyone that steps foot on the continent of Mylos. Nearly every square inch of this intermediately sized continent is either a river, or part of a rain forest that breathes life into thousands of species of critters. There is a saying in human culture that goes: "Attempting to complete that task will be as impossible as finding an area with no green in Mylos." The continent is filled to the brim with trees, flowers, and high grass, proving this statement to be true.

As is with any tropical area, Mylos is hot. Natural inhabitants often wear slim to no clothes to keep themselves as cool as possible. In larger cities, some folk find paying jobs to keep the royalty and their guests comfortable at all times. The heart of the cold season is the only time of year that the inhabitants of Mylos can comfortably live without the feeling of heat exaustion right over their shoulders, and in the middle of the warm season, most of these inhabitants don't leave their homes for more then an hour at a time.

The wildlife in Mylos is some of the most spectacular in all of Valorinia. The unbearable heat has caused for some very unique adaptions, one of the most profound is the Mylos Water Frog, a creature that has a special place in many folk-tales and artistic pieces. There are many dangerous carnivores that live in the tropics of Mylos, it is often said to be a bad idea to go into these areas alone. Not only are the large felines and canines that stalk the wild dangerous, but also the poisonous critters as well.

Sunnji
The capitol of Mylos, Sunnji is the largest in all of the continent. Home to members of every Valorinian race, the city claims to be free of discrimination. It is ruled by a single King, currently King Jadez II. The White family helped construct Sunnji, and thus has ruled over it since its creation, and has never had a dislikable reputation with the cities many inhabitants.

Rats and disease are things that one often associates with a poor section of a large city. Thus is not the case in Sunnji. All sectors of the city, while indeed separated, are treated the same. The only differences between the poor sector and the rich sector are the sizes of the houses, and the average occupation of the citizens. Even the poverty stricken have always supported the king.

The most important thing to King Jadez II, and most of the White family, is the preservation of wildlife and the forest. As native inhabitants of Mylos, the White family has always supported living off the land, and what was given to them by their home. During the construction of the city, the family demanded that as many of the trees be left alive as possible, and that no creatures were killed in the process. This left the fully finished city nearly living with tropical trees. In the current day, many houses use these trees as supports, and many shops use them as natural decorations. Sunnji also has a large population of chimpanzees that make their home in the trees within the city walls.

The Marauders
The unbearable heat, and never ending sound can drive any man that lives in Mylos mad. Thus is the case with a self-proclaimed vigilante group naming themselves "The Marauders". No one knows where the band of madmen make their home, but they live in no mapped city. Each wears a different colored jungle leaf around their waist, and marks themselves with the same colored war paint.

These ruthless men and women of all different races have been known to attack cities without plans, as well as robbing and killing lost explorers. It is said that once you hear the war cry of The Marauders, it's to late to save yourself. They are fond of using the bow and arrow, as well as very rustic combat weapons made out of rocks and branches. Little else is known about them.

As more information is learned about Wraden, it will be placed into this thread. Check back to see if anything new has been added.
