Leo's hair occasionally turns black. (This has been documented.) Aside from the occasional space cadet stare he's your average ridiculously handsome bard.Leo's most notable piece of attire is his bard's cloak. Contrary to the name it is a jacket, brightly colored in the showy style of the noble dandies. The inside is lined with hidden pockets containing any number of things.

Aside from this his clothing tends to vary depending on his situation, though his prefered outfit is simple travelers clothes, a loose linen shirt and worn leather britches. He does enjoy jewelery as well, usually earrings or rings, but also the occasional pendent or amulet.

PERSONALITY
LikesDislikesHobbiesAspirationsFears
Stories, Secrets, Singing, Shinies Authority, Hawks, IsolationSneak thieving, antagonizing dangerous people, avoiding the law, making music, telling stories, tea preparation, the list goes on.To recover the lost culture of the old world, To share knowledge with allLosing control, Confinement, Being alone
Leo's greatest strength or flaw, depending on who you ask, is his unquenchable desire for knowledge. Secrets in particular. His uncanny ability to ferret out the truth from the most complex lies and omissions has earned him many enemies. Though he is not usually malicious the very fact that he possesses the knowledge seems enough to mark him as a target.

He has the propensity usually only found in rodents, children, and birds to be in places he should not be and know things he should not know. This might almost be considered acceptable if he wasn't a known storyteller. Combined with his lack of affiliation or personal loyalties he is considered a dangerous figure to most major powers in Sanctum.

Simply due to his personality and puckish nature he is considered persona non grata. This is unfortunate as he is known to be an elusive prey with a number of tricks up his sleeve. This, however, coupled with his skill as an entertainer has garnered him quite a reputation among the common men and women of Sanctum.

When Leofwine blows into town it is a strong wind indeed.

SKILLS

Leofwine possess innumerable obscure and abstract skills and an esoteric knowledge of even more. Despite that there are a few he is known for and which he prides himself in.

Slight of Hand: Idle hands are the devil's playthings. A combination of quick hands accustomed to precision work and a natural flare for misdirection make Leo an excellent pickpocket and illusionist. This ability, while purely non magical, has been known to confound people, as his Magpie nature leads to him occasionally pocket things with none the wiser, including himself.
Stick Fighting: Leofwine is known to use his walking stick as a quarterstaff to devastating effect in the pursuit of self defense. While he rarely initiates a fight he often ends it quickly with dizzying combinations and rapid strikes. He is also quick and accurate enough to deflect sword blows without damaging himself or the staff. He can produce similar results to a trained swordsman when using a cane (though he rarely carries one).
Mad Music:Leofwine is known throughout lower sanctum for his singing voice and musical skill. He has displayed a significant degree of virtuosity with most string and wind instruments, though his favorite would be the flute. Leo has a hidden passion for recovering old world music and reproducing it to the best of his ability. Particularly a genre called "Heavy Metal".
Dissembling:While not particularly interested in deceiving people Leo was born with a silver tongue. His ability to lie and dissemble primarily aids him in story telling, where he can effectively sell a situation which might otherwise be considered absurd or fallacious.

POWERS

Spirit Measure

Muninn: The nature of the being that inhabits Leofwine's mind is unknown even to him. Leo refers to it as the Raven, or Muninn. This thing possesses it's own unique personality focused entirely on the acquisition of information and the preservation of it's host. Munin possesses a seemingly limitless amount of memory and benefits Leo with perfect recall. However, the forced integration of their minds have led to some... complications.

Those with spiritual sensitivity, second sight, or the ability to perceive auras may view Leo as a hybrid of himself and Muninn.

Psychometry:The ability Leo was born with, he can read the history of objects (non living things) simply by touching them. This allows him to absorb information at a phenomenal pace, comprehending the contents of a book in a mater of seconds, or learning the history of a bloody dagger with the brush of his fingers. The influence of Muninn expands Leo's ability beyond objects and allows him to read people. Specifically he can extract memories, one a time, from a person he comes in contact with. Memories are rarely permanently loss and given time the mind will heal the gap in information Leo's abilities create.

Will o' the Wisp:Posted ImageThis is the only spell Leo has ever actually learned and been able to cast, mostly likely due to it's connection to his abilities. Using a candle wick as an implement Leo can summon a ball of ghostly fire. The Will o' the Wisp, sometimes known as Ignis Fatuus is the sentient manifestation of a memory. In essence it is a minor spirit created from primal magic. The Wisps can vary in color though they are commonly blue. They have a mesmerizing quality to them, though it is subtle, instilling a desire to touch and follow them. If a person touches the wisp it will begin to burn away at their memories, one by one. Small generally unimportant memories are the first to go but persistent exposure can lead to total memory erasure. The effect is akin to a numbing of the mine, the person will feel their memories begin to fade, feel light headed and eventually go into a catatonic state. When they awaken they will face total amnesia. These effects can be reversed either through significant healing magic or Leo's own song and a willing mind. While mostly Leo's summons the Wisps often seem to take their cues from Muninn.

Broadcast:
This is probably Leo's favorite ability and defining quality as a bard. Through the use of his music (or really any sound with a rhythm he produces) Leo can broadcast the memories Muninn stores to all those within hearing. The audience perceives these memories as waking dreams, hard to break hallucinations that superimpose themselves over the real world. Posted ImageLeo doesn't lose these memories, they are simply shared. In a peaceful environment they allow him to transport his audience into the stories he sings about, but he can also use it for misdirection if there is a need for it.

POSSESSIONS
Personal Effects: Everything Leo owns are in his saddle bags or his Bard's coat. He doesn't tend to carry much more than he needs however. His flute, a change of clothes, food and water, camping gear, and feed for his horse. There are also a series of strange black disks that Leo is rather protective of. They don't seem to have any magical properties though.
Walking Stick:A sturdy ash quarterstaff. The ends have been hollowed and filled with led adding a little extra weight to his blows. The midsection is wrapped in leather for comfortable handling and to cushion blows. It's a pretty good staff.
Dio:A piebald pinto with brown and white coloration. There doesn't seem to be anything special about this horse beyond the fact that it is well trained.
Bard's Coat:A fine (though well worn) jacket that on the outside seems to be the type worn by noblemen and dandies. The inside of the jacket is lined with pockets, including the sleeves which have spaces to hold stilettos, lock picks, and other such instruments. At any given time he's sure to be carrying a large number of candle wicks, various herbs and alchemical materials, his flute, knives, and lock picks, with plenty of room left over for whatever he might nick off a passing guardsmen.

RELATIONSHIPS
Ylva Reinhild: Perhaps the only person who genuinely frightens Leo. It doesn't help that she's the head of a faction that wants his head on a platter.
Otto Lind: Leo is actually a member of the Exploration League. Though he hasn't taken a job in a long time his name is still on the roster. Believed to be friends with the Guild master.
Chancellor Sera: Uhh, let's not go there.
