Magen was to be his Shield and protect himself and his people as commander of the Guard, while her sister Zayin was to be his sword and slice through their enemies as commander of the army. The city lived in peace and harmony with nature as the Master had a great interest in preserving the balance. If a tree was cut down then a new one was planted. All parts of an animal was used when they were hunted, nothing went to waste. All was well until the barbarians came. They were greedy of the Master's town and demanded that they pay tribute to their great leader. The Master was generous as the people had an abundant crop that season. The barbarians retreated satisfied until a month later when they returned asking for more, their greed knew no bounds. The Master refused as he had already given them supplies and then the barbarians attacked. The barbarians were crushed by The Master's army led by Zayin but the Master let them live after they surrendered as he was a noble man. The Barbarians were not noble men. The following year they returned with an army quadruple the size of the last and threw themselves at the wall. The Master, a powerful caster joined the battle on the front lines with Zayin and ordered Magen to keep the people safe. During the battle she clashed with the Barbarian leader as they breached the walls and gained two slashes across her face before she managed to take him down. In the aftermath of the battle The Master and Zayin were no where to be found but Magen continued her mission to protect the people for the next few generations. After that she gained a wanderlust and set out to find the Master and her sister. She traveled for centuries going from one land to the next, never staying in one place for too long. Eventually she came to Sanctum and decided that she would try to reconnect with people and begin to protect again. Skills Fists O' Fury: Magen is an expert at using her fists on her opponents if she needs to attack. Mostly just wailing on an opponent but she has picked up some fighting techniques as well in the intervening years. Defensive Stance: Using a shield, her arms, or just about anything, really she can defend others' thus taking all or half of the damage intending for those she is defending. Friendly Demeanor: For a being that is not organic she gives off quite the pleasant and friendly air about her making herself relatively approachable for someone who is a 7' tall Golem Powers Golem : Being a Golem, Magen's Strength is 3 times that of the average human. She does not need to eat, sleep, breathe or drink. Being a creature made of metal she only takes the full brunt of damage from Bashing Weapons as well as those of good quality weapons and ones made from superior metals or magic Possessions: Extremely Large Shield: Exists attached to her back in two separate pieces hanging from her shoulders. In time of need she can place them together to form a shield that can cover her body or be used to protect her wards. I love warforged! Why do the City Guards get all the good characters?? Let the balancing act commence. I would like a little more detail on her durability. Maybe it is the mental image I have, but I see a metal golem as nearly indestructible. I love the idea though, so we are definitely going to make it work! Her strength will need to come down a little as well, the current limit we have on character modifiers is a total of 3x human for a base character. Anything beyond that would cost Milestones. |

Well at the very least I figured that Hammers and other bashing weapons would get through her defenses as well as weapons of superior quality and powerful metals. afterall she can still get dented and slashed. Heck in her backstory I mention she gets two slashes across her Eye on the left side of the face. Thanks for getting back to the character so fast since I had only put it up this morning my the way. And I'm gald you like the character. Anyway once she is finished there will only be 2 pcs and one npc in the guards.
