Name:Captain Rickhard Williamshire The Third Alignment: N Gender: Male Age: 60 Occupation: Explorer's Guild/ Professional Pirate Residence: His ship "The Mighty Sea Witch" Height: 6'5'' Weight: 240 Build: Muscular Origin: Human Race: Human Eye Color: Dark brown Hair Color: Grey Unique features: Hook replacing his right hand, Scar down his left eye, Tatoo of a stylized Compass Rose on his Right Shoulder Attire: Badass Longcoat and Awesome Hat, Earing in his left ear ![]() Personality: Likes: Recovering Loot, Pretty Lasses, Rum Dislikes: Heavy storms, Smartasses, Fruity drinks Hobbies: Going on adventures, Exploring, Raiding ships on the High Seas, Drinking Aspirations: To discover a lost continent or recover an important artifact and become famous, To become extremely rich and retire to spend his golden years with his grandchildren Fears: Losing his family, Losing his ship, Losing his crew Personal History: As a young boy, Rickhard Williamshire the Third wished to become a noteworthy sea captain like his Grandfather, sailing the high seas looking for adventure with his family. This dream came to a tragic end when his Grandfather's ship, "The Williamshire" was attacked and boarded by pirates led by the Notorious Claven the Green Bearded from his ship "The Mighty Sea Witch". His grandfather and many of the crew were killed and the ship sunk. Those who were not killed were sold into slavery at another port, except for Rickhard, him Claven had taken a liking to and made him his cabin boy. That night he was visited by the ghost of his grandfather who cautioned him to earn the Captain's trust and then he can kill him and escape. The years went by and Rickard developed into a teenager, at the age of 14 he had fully earned the Captain's trust and learned how to fight. While they were in an island port, he challenged THe Captain to a duel. Clavin wielded a two handed broadsword and Rickhard wielded a cutless. During the battle, Clavin cut off his right hand which was his fighting hand. Overconfident, Clavin turned his back to Rickhard. While in immeasurable pain, he managed to grab the cutlass in his left hand and impale Clavin The Green Bearded through his chest. He took off with the crew that were loyal to him and lived the life of a pirate for many years until he met a woman that made him want to settle down. For a few years he lived life on land with his wife and child but the draw of the ocean became too great and he left once more. Returning every few months with treasure and tales of adventure he continued to live this life on the High Seas and once The Exploration League was created he joined as it seemed a perfect fit. Skills: Sword Fighting: Mastery of the blades of the High Seas. Fluent in martial combat Dirty Fighting: He fights to win, using everything from swords and hooks to kicks and bites, honor is secondary Skilled Mapmaker: Can draw up maps Long Winded: In his old age he tends to tell long winded stories of his adventures of which there are many Direction sense: Always knows which way is north and how to backtrack terrain. It is very difficult for him to get lost Powers The Sword Forlorn is magically enchanted and feels cold to the touch. It appears as though it is just a regular cutlass but when being used to attack, it does cold damage on top of it's regular damage. If you could give us some more details on Forlorn that would be great! Also, if you could include his ship in the possessions section along with some details (crew, armament, etc). |
