Overview

There’s nothing really out of the ordinary about Vanora unless you account for the strange French accent. She’s of average height and weight though probably a bit too athletic by Noble standards. Her copper-red hair is usually worn in some intricate half-up/half-down style with the wavy length of it flowing down her back.

Still waters run deep. Selfless. A good heart. A beautiful mind. A feisty attitude. Vanora is a woman perpetually torn between duty and dreams. On one end she understands that is important to hold up traditional as it will ensure the survival of her race. However, things get rocky when one is willing to obey the letter of the law but not the spirit of the law. All she wants is freedom. The freedom to explore and find something she can call her own outside the confines of her family name. She wants nothing short of everything the world has to offer. While Vanora is passionate and kind she isn’t a pushover. Likewise, Vanora has this tendency to dive head first in to the fray of any confrontation. Her opinions often vary from one extreme to the next; never lukewarm. It really all depends on what’s going on. Sometimes it might seem as if she’s just letting life drift on by while losing herself in a worriless daze. Other tie she may be as violent and unforgiving as the sea itself. Needless to say Vanora is very independent and not afraid to act arbitrarily. She doesn’t like the thought of destiny and fate and would much rather believe that she carves her own path with choice and free will. She has one habit/addiction that could possibly be her biggest fault. Vanora is highly addicted to adrenaline. Cheap thrills are no stranger to her. She will actively seek out thrills and danger just to get a quick fix. These endeavors often lead to large bills and big messes. Which, depending on her mood, can either be cleaned up manually or she can just buy her way out of it. Money talks and often stops drama before it starts.

Dual Wielding:
Vanora can effectively wield two one-handed weapons with deadly precision.
Swimming: Spending most of her life in and around water Vanora is a strong and fast swimmer.
Map Reading: She doesn’t get lost so long as the map is correct. Doesn’t ask for directions.
Fishing: Call it dumb luck but she can usually find all of the prime fishing spots.
Surfing: Pretty self explanatory.


~ POWERS ~

Vanora is as she always has been: Atlantean by blood. Most of her life has been spent both by and in the water. It is as much a necessity as it is a preference. Atlanteans can’t survive without immersing themselves ever so often. They simply dry up. (Though if you ask they’ll tell you that they turn in to sea foam.) Atlanteans are capable of living comfortably on land but are first and foremost suited for the water. It’s simply in their physiology.

Elemental Manipulation:
Vanora is capable of manipulating and controlling water and its derivatives (H20) down to the molecular level.
Effective Range: Roughly 15 meter radius. Projectiles within that range will continue to travel, outside of 15m, will become subject to gravity.
Limitations: Cannot transmute between different states such as: vapor to liquid to solid (ice), etc.

Solidfy/Condense:

Weapons- Vanora is capable of solidifying/condensing water in to various weapons. None any sharper than a regular forged weapon.

Aquatic Physiological Adaptation:
Vanora's body was specially developed for underwater conditions, granting her breathing capabilities, specialized blood circulation to withstand pressure, freezing temperatures, and highly developed vision to see clearly even in murky ocean depths.
Animal Communication: Vanora is capable of having conversations with animals.

Weknesses Defined:
Electricity is particularly harmful to Vanora. Likewise, she must submerge herself in water once every 3-7days.

Obstinate Compass:
It’s supposed to point to the thing she wants the most but it usually points to the thing she needs most.
Personal Effects: Black leather (light) armor for land, Coral and seashell armor for swimming, Two 1 gallon leather water bladders
Empty Hilts: Empty hilts that Vanora can attach water blades to.
