Overview

There's a scar that runs across the bridge of his nose. Other than that he's not remarkable looking. He's your average joe - though some claim he has a strong jawline, he just figures it's cause its been hit so many times.

PERSONALITY
LikesDislikesHobbiesAspirationsFears
Swimming. Drinking. Music.
Laughs. Ladies.
Water. "Gale".
Disloyalty. Mutineers.
Causing trouble.
Whittling, Ships in Bottles,
Reading, Leatherwork, Magic.
Get back his ship.
Embrace complete and utter freedom.
Losing "Gale".
Being consumed by his past.

Intelligent, Passionate, Sarcastic.
Sailor is a lot of things - he's oftentimes a downright troublemaker, but he does follow a code he keeps in his head. He's loyal, fun, and charismatic - but there's a little bit of brooding going on under the surface. He has his mood swings, just like everyone else, the occasional dark thought, but the majority of the time, he's a hard worker, with a trademark smirk on his face, and usually ready to laugh alongside you.

Everyone's entitled to a bad day now and again... right?

SKILLS

Boat stuff:
Rigging sails, manning the guns, navigation, reading the skies, swabbing the deck - "Sailor" was raised on ships. He's done nearly every job a crewman on a ship can have, to one extent or another (Not a gifted cook.) - As a former Captain who had worked his way up from the bottom, he knows his way around a vessel.
Murder & Mayhem: "Sailor" was never formally trained in any sword-style or martial art. He is not a master by any means. He's accomplished with swords and a flintlock, fisticuffs and daggers, but is more akin to a typical brawler than anything.
His secret to winning? He fights dirty.
Hand-yman: Outside of his general shipping and swashbuckling skills, "Sailor" is quite talented with his hands. He frequently spends his free time working with wood, whittling, working with leather or putting ships in bottles. (The irony..).
Reading: Books. Maps. Ladies. Brail. Ships.
Magicks: Predominately card tricks, but also a sleight of hand trickster, funambulist, and acrobat (parkour?).

POWERS

"Sailor" has elemental blood in his veins.
He also gives zero fucks about that.

He has no interest in accruing more power, training his abilities or exploring what his lineage is capable of. He is who he is, and he does what he does.

Read the Winds:
"Sailor's" ability to communicate wind is limited - occasionally he is able to hear and smell farther than the average human, if the winds nearby bring a sound or scent in his direction. At best his sense of hearing and smell could be described as 2x average human.
Alternatively he can sometimes feel 'disturbances' in the wind that are akin to an enhanced sense of touch, increasing the range of which he can feel things.

Wind in the Sails:
"Control" is a strong word. At best "Sailor" is capable of guiding differing wind forces in the direction he wants - primary application being keeping the wind in the sails, as it were.
He can also manage to create small bursts of a breeze - enough to ruffle papers around off someone's desk or cause a distraction, but nothing of any combat application - unless kicking dust up into someone's face counts.

Drift:
"Sailor" is capable of falling from most heights with greatly reduced chance of injury, as if cushioned by a small air-pocket just before he hits the ground.

POSSESSIONS

"Gale":
Female Osprey. Been together seven years.
Flute: Simple wooden flute. Made it himself. Helps to control/direct Gale.
"Whisper": Standard cutlass. The blade is of average sharpness with a few nicks here and there. She's seen some shit.
[Belonged to "Sailors" father.]
"Ace": Pictured here. The 'Ace up his sleeve' as the name implies, and part of that dirty fighting mentioned earlier. An eight inch retractable blade is housed safely in the wrist-gauntlet, and above that, a miniature collapsible crossbow/ballistic knife combination, which can fire off a single-shot, secondary blade.
It can really only be fired off once in any topic, it takes too long to reload to make it easy to do mid-combat. Gotta make it count.
Pocketwatch: Cracked, but still works.
Flintlock:It fires bullets.

Vanora and "Sailor" have worked together for years - she was once his Quartermaster when he had his own ship. You can often find them bickering like an old married couple, or teasing eachother relentlessly. They've been through a lot together.
