In a word Nathallion is 'direct'. Blunt and straight forward with the subtly of a hurricane. He is all about doing something in the most efficient manner possible. If you have something he wants, you just became the most interesting person in the world. But his attentions are not something most rational people would aspire to. Nate can be quite charismatic when he has a reason to, but more often than not he will resort to genuine threats rather than flattery to get what he wants. He has all the patience and tolerance in the world for the right people or task. All of his personality quirks aside, he is remarkably easy to get along with. He is personable, and even has a certain roguish charm. Just do not stand in his way.

Alchemist: Nathallion is an accomplished alchemist capable of creating and using advanced chemicals and components derived from natural and supernatural means. He requires the proper tools and it can take anywhere between 5 minutes to 5 days to extract the base elements for his craft. He is capable of mixing a concoction of medicinal potions to treat most ailments, aid or inhibit pregnancy, cure illnesses and diseases. But he is far more likely to dabble in the darker side of alchemic applications and can create an impressive array of drugs and poisons. Because he does not have the means to preserve many of his concoctions most of them need to be made fresh and have a limited shelf life. Because he is a master of his trade, he can easily identify other alchemic substances by sight, smell or taste unless someone has gone to great lengths to disguise them.
Deft Assassin: Through the use of throwing daggers and small bladed weapons Nathallion excels in close combat, even though he prefers to decimate his opponent from a distance.
Manipulator: He has a knack for knowing how to play people, for assessing where their are vulnerable, what they value and how to manipulating them. He can be charismatic, sophisticated, sincere, anything and everything he needs to be to get what he wants. His ability to lie convincingly is borderline supernatural. He has no tells, nothing which would ever give away his true intentions to anything less than a mind reader.

He can usually track down anything he is looking for or he knows a guy who knows a guy. Demon Prince: Demons are one of the few beings who do not have a secure foothold in the world of men. Access into the world is often gained through rituals, sacrifices and possession. As a Demon Prince Nathallion has the potential and power of a fully fledged Demon Lord in his own realm, but within the world of men he is a shadow of himself. Any mortals foolish or brave enough to face him within his own Realm of Shadows rarely make it out again. The path to becoming a permanent part of the world exists in the heart of other demons who have found their way into the mortal realm. He ruthlessly hunts his own kind across the face of the world, following even so much as a rumour. The noble side of him would profess it was to banish them from the world, but his real motivation is to siphon and harness their power for his own ends.
Demonic Attributes: Nathallion’s physical strength and speed exist at the threshold of human limits rather than relating to the assumed strength of his build, but does not exceed it. The range of his smell and hearing is heightened and his vision is not limited to the light spectrum. He could see in any lighting and in some cases through many magical effects. He is only able to be truly killed within his own realm, but physical death in the world would banish him until he could find a strong enough power source or someone willing to channel energy into the summoning to bring himself back, he can not return within 48 hours of being killed. Divine powers will leave a lasting injury and can only be fully healed in his own realm.
Dark Whispers: The ability to whisper across realms to individuals sensitive to demonic energies or anyone who comes into contact with a specific cursed item. Nathallion has no knowledge of where the items are physically located, only that he can communicate directly with the person who possesses it. He is able to imbue any small item but limits it to precious gems, items of jewellery and coins. All but a handful of specific cursed items will lose their effects over time (between 3 and 6 months), only Nathallion knows which ones are permanent.
Demonic Summoning: The key to Nathallion’s presence in the world, and his single greatest power is the ability to perform a Demonic Summoning ritual. The ritual consumes massive amounts of energy and power and will generally require an external power source or powerful caster. Through the summoning he is able to manifest a weakened human version of himself in the physical world.
Foothold: Each time Nathallion is resummoned back into the world the ritual becomes easier, faster and consumes less power. He is able to maintain his physical form for longer each time and gains in strength and power the longer he has been there.
Rift Walking: Nathallion’s Demonic Realm aligns with the physical world which enables him to freely and accurately move between the two realms. Once summoned and with enough of a foothold in the physical world, he is able to open a portal from one world to the other and travel across the shadow realm. Travel of this kind would appear instantaneous in the physical world similar to a teleportation, but he needs to navigate the perils of his own realm to come out on the otherside, losing both time and power. The longer he spends in the Demonic Realm the weaker his foothold in the physical world will become and if he remains too long within the shadows he will lose the ability to open the portal on the other side and remain trapped. He is able to pull up to three others into the realm of shadows with him (requires OOC consent). Because the ability will leave him weakened when he returns to the physical world, even short rifts are not combat effective but can be used as an escape. Over use of this ability, more than once a day, can also leave him trapped within his own realm.
Linked Portals: In addition to a single one way portal into his natural realm, Nathallion is able to manifest linked portals. The linked portals create a rift into and immediately out of his demonic realm and can be used to relocate physical attacks and even magical attacks. Any object which enters the first portal, including people will instantly exit a second portal. Linked Portals are limited to a space within 50metres of one another.
Master of his Domain: (Full OOC consent is essential for this ability) Within the Demonic Realm, Nathallion exists in his natural state making him an almost unstoppable force. As well as being able to command and dominate lesser demons at will, his full physical attributes are nothing short of terrifying. He stands approximately 3metres in height with a pair of black wings. His strength and resilience are greatly increased in excess of 10 times that of his natural size and he gains a combat effective regeneration that means he is able to shrug off any and all damage ~ excluding damage inflicted by divine powers, only time is able to restore those. (This state is purely for character defining purposes and to represent Nathallion’s natural state as well as his intended Milestone progression. This ability is not intended to circumvent the Milestone progression system and should only be taken as representative of the character's potential. Beyond absolute consent from a member, and some creative storytelling, no one should encounter this facet of the character.)
POSSESSIONS
Poisons: At all times Nathallion has a selection of his favourite poisons on his person.
Somnum is derived from plants. Often used as a general aesthetic, when inhaled it is capable of rendering a human being unconscious in a matter of seconds.
Mortem more commonly derived from Wyvern poison or Demonic origins. This remarkable toxin in large enough doses is capable of killing its victims within seconds of hitting their bloodstream. Extensive testing proved conclusive results that the poison shuts down the nervous system, often before the brain even registers injury has occured, the most common form of death is heart failure. In small doses it acts like an accelerate, negating the pain inhibitors in a victim's body. It would take three separate thrown daggers laced with the poison to push enough of the toxin into an average sized person to kill them instantly.
Agonia the origins of this poison is kept under lock and key. Often used for prolonged methods of torture the substance inflicts excruciating pain without any lasting damage. Although, there was this one time... probably best not to mention that.
