| Over all you can say he is Crazy. Totally out of it. At one moment he is completely rational and sane then the next he want to try out what happens if an gem get's to much magic, even through he know that it will explode. At one moment he pats an small little puppy and in the next he kills a few cats in some strange experiment. One moment he is kind even through somebody punched him and in the next he wants to kill somebody for a stupid comment. He is truly Chaotic. |
| SKILLS | | Magical Engineering Professor | For over half his live(19 years) he has now studied ways to combine magic with technologies, this gave him the skill to quickly understand old world technologies when he finds it. Together with possible ways of using it with magic as the main fuel.
| | Hand-to-Hand combat | He is fairly trained in it. Since he is a genius he never really had a problem with studying, being born as the son of two Arcanist he inherited the best of there ability's but even so until he got his dynamos he was forced to fight with his fist since his magic wasn't quick enough in a fight. So he started to train Hand to Hand combat a lot. After becoming a professor and focusing on his research he got a little bit out of practice but his skills are still good.
| | Wide knowledge | Not only did he study arcane magic he also studied math, physics, history and Magical/Non-Magical Creatures. He learned a lot at all these regions but he isn't the leading head at any of them as he learned most of them to perfect his own study's.

| POWERS | True Arcanist: He is not bound to only use one subgroup of Arcane magic but instead is cable of learning unlocking spells from all subgroups.
| Arcane Armor | Armor Created through Arcane Magic, By pouring magic into a gem that saved a lot Rune codes he can create an Armor that would offer the same protection as wrapping yourself in Steel with the difference that you can actually move and it has no weigh. As an bonus because of the fact that it's created out of pure magic energy it absorbs large amount of force, enough to nullify the effect of his Arcane Blast but not enough to completely nullify the power of Void Breaker. The creation of the armor is rather tiring for the caster. Keeping it around also slowly drains your energy but activating and deactivating it over and over would make Add fall into a coma after simply using it 12 times in a row. It would be a small one of maybe 2 min but he would be completely empty with no energy left. Keeping it steady on the other hand only takes a little bit magic, it only consumes a lot when he needs to repair it after it's been damaged in combat. After fixing it for around 17 times (depending on the damage) he will be forced to deactivate it. As an side effect his sclera become black. He still hasn't figured out why it has this effect on his body but since it's not bad he doesn't care.
| | Arcane Blast | A ball of purple arcane energy. It's Add most used basic attack, while other people use arrow to shoot or a gun he fires magic energy balls. They explode on contact or when reaching max range. He can fire them while running around as long as his Dynamos create the shortcut magic circle in front of him.
Stats of the Ability Range: 7 m in a straight line, no control after firing it. Travel speed: 5 m/s Size: 1 m radius Explosion radius: 2 m Force: Enough to break bones and deform iron Armor. Damage type: The explosion is pure Force. No heat or anything just pure force. The force will travel the full distance through everything it hits, until it's so weakened that it can't pass through anymore. So the real danger to this ability is the fact that if a person isn't wearing armor or only thin armor it will pass through and hit his inner organs. Resulting in bruises of inner organs and inner bleeding. This can kill a person, but just as easily could an well aimed Arrow. It's real strength comes through the areal damage inside the Person. When the person is wearing armor, depending on how thick and how well it can absorb the energy the damage to the organ can be greater or weaker then an arrow hitting a person. A person that puts a steel shield against the attack and blocks it with the shield while also wearing some Steel armor can already nullify the damage and block the attack. The shield might deform a little bit but no real damage to the person. Even an normal sword can partly nullify the damage but only around the places the extra steel is covering.
| | Void Breaker | He creates an subspace in his line of sigh. By amplifying energy energy into this subspace and then ripping that space apart he creates an smaller but stronger explosion similar to the one that appear when his Energy Balls explodes. While doing so she must stand still and can't move. He needs 1.5 seconds to create and rip apart the subspace in front of him when his dynamos create the shortcut magical circle.
Stats of the Ability Range: 5 m in his line of sigh Explosion radius: 1 m Force: Enough to shatter bones and crush organs. Rules: Subspace's can't be created inside solid objects, they need 20 cm space without any solid object in it. There for they can't be created inside an normal Human being as they have no place with this much "empty" space. There for it needs to be created next to an target. Damage Type: Still pure force. The same rules of force traveling that apply to the Arcane Blast apply to this. But now the armor needs to absorb a lot more then it can normally handle. Chances are higher that a target simply moves out of the way in time instead of blocking the attack. Usage: Normal only used in tag combat or as an surprise attack/assassination as 1.5 seconds is enough for most people to moves out of the way, if they aren't fat lazy couch potatoes. So if used in combat he normal thinks of an possible way the enemy might move but chances are high people move in another way than he expected them to.

| Gem of mysteries: | A violet gem that is capable of saving rune and when poured magic into it is able to actually activated those saved runes. He uses it to cast his Arcane Armor
| | Dynamos: | 5 small flying pieces of metal filled with gems that can save simple runes. He filled the gems with code that allows him to control them and let them fly around. He made a few short cut magic circle in order to prevent saying the long Incantation and drawing complex runes. The 5 simply fly in front of him and draw the magic circle into the air. They also draw with magic so it consumes more magic then the spell would do on his own. But it helps him using the spells much faster. These 5 fly around at his will but are fare from dealing any physical damage, they are fragile mix of metal and magic, hitting something with them is unthinkable as the chances are high they get damaged or destroyed. Those small helpers are his greatest invention but they are far from perfect as they need constant magic refilling to make them able to stay hovering in the air. Runes used are anti gravity/flying runes and the ones he needs to create his magic spells.
| | Normal Clothes | A mix of clothes that look rather futuristic for the current time designed from stretches of some "Cosplay" Page found in some book from an ruin of the old world. Add liked the style of it so he got somebody to make it for him.
| | Control Tail | He has an steel tail filled with small gems in the center of them. Those gems send his magic energy to the 5 dynamos so they always have enough energy to function.

Unfortunately this character is not going to be able to be approved.

Is where the problem is with the character and it is not be something that can be solved by investing Milestones in him. What you have is basically a Power Duplication ability which is listed in the powers we cannot accommodate for on Veil’s Edge. Being able to recreate another characters powers or an infinite world of possibility, even locked to a single origin, is outside the scope of our approved characters.
Approving a power like that effectively means if he can see someone else do something he can master their abilities out of combat over time, and that is not the way it works. Saying it may not interest him is not enough of an inhibitor. This power needs to be completely reconsidered or removed in its entirety. The flavour text ‘True Arcanist: He can use arcane magic, in nearly every know way.’ also needs to be removed or reworded.
A Character’s powers need to be their own and it is impossible for anyone, even with 10 Milestones, to fully master a single Origin.
- Rift Walk

Requires an internal cooldown on the ability. It is something we insist on with all teleportation abilities. Even at that range he should only be able to use it once every 5 seconds or once per combat round.

Okey I edited both. I changed the Arcane Genius into and Arcane Afinity and an Genius boost, that only helps him learn faster. I changed the Rift walk: Usage: once every 5 seconds, if used repeatedly it drains away his energy so for save use he should wait 15 seconds before using it again. Otherwise he is in danger of collapsing from exhaustion. How many time he can use it is nothing that is written in stone yet as it depends on how much magic he is using in total. So 2 times can already force him down if he uses everything at once or if he uses nothing big then it will be a max of 10 times. If you want I add the 10 as an max number. If not then I will keep it the way it is now

After looking at Add Magin I believe he would cost 1 Milestone to have them up and running on Veil's Edge. My only question is are you happy with spending the milestone on them?

Yes I am Happy with spending that milestone on him^^, I created him knowing I would need to spend at least one milestone, so I'm happy with spending it on him^^.
