Julius put a piece of candy into his mouth as he headed towards the library, at least what he thought was the direction of the building. He needed to find some books to research on his project, but unfortunately he did not really spend too much time in there so it would be a blind search. "I really should read more~" He thought to himself with a little hum as he looked around for someone that looked like they would be helpful in speeding up the process. There was not a familiar face in sight unfortunately, but he see a girl. He walked over towards her and reached out, but stopped before he touched her. Instead he just asked, in not to loud a voice to surprise her. "Umm... excuse me miss. I was wondering if you could help me find some books in the library?" ((I hope this was an okay beginning. It took a while to think of something.)) |

Molly had been in the library all afternoon looking for the perfect books to read, but she could never pick just one. A (planned) quick trip of 5 minutes turned into an hour long expedition through the vast shelves of the library and resulted in an armful of over 6 books. She was just about to go sit at her usual table in the far corner of the room when she heard someone come up behind her. "Excuse me miss, I was wondering if you could help me find some books in the library?" She turned around and peered over the enormous pile in her arms to see a guy with slightly rumpled light brown hair. He appeared to be wearing the Cygnus house uniform but didn't seem to have the trademark wings that all of the other students in the house boasted. "Oh, hi!" she laughed nervously, slightly afraid of dropping her books onto his feet. "Of course I can help you find books- I know where everything is! I practically live- ah... I mean I've been here... a few times..." she trailed off. She didn't want to come off as a total geek by revealing her daily reading sessions in the library. "What are you looking for exactly?" she asked as she adjusted herself so not to lose hold of her stack of books. |

When the girl turned around, he could not help feeling a little in awe on the Centaurus. One reason was that her appearance was different, but really beautiful and two was that she reminded him of one of the characters in the game he played. But there was no way he was going to say that outloud, he preferred to keep his gamer side as hidden as possible. His train of thought was interrupted when she spoke. She looked a little nervous, but he was glad she was okay with helping him. "Oh really, thank you so much, Miss." The sparrow chirped happily as his tiny wings twitched with glee. "I need some books to research for my English project. Pretty much anything that has to do with poetry." He paused for a bit before extending his hand. "Want me to carry your books for you?" He asked with a smile. |

"Oh!" Molly almost laughed in surprise as she saw a flick of feathers from behind his back. So he did have wings! And they were so tiny! She smiled slightly. "Ah it would be great if you could lighten the load, I won't make you carry all of them though," she agreed, balancing the stack of books on her knee as she passed the first three on the pile his way. As she regained her balance she tilted her head to the side and said, "Poetry hm? what kind of poems do you like? It'll probably be a lot easier to do research if you actually somewhat enjoy what you're reading. And by the way, you don't have to keep calling me "Miss," my name is Molly," she nodded. Wow, this guy has got his manners down! So polite... she thought to herself. And he's cute... The last thought caused her to make a weird face. Oh right, almost forgot I'm too awkward for guys like him... She blinked and hoped he didn't catch on to her inner-conflict. |

Julius accepted the books that she had handed to him. He honestly could take more but hey, girls could definately handle themselves. The sparrow thought for a moment about her question and smiled as he gave his answer. "I think Romantic Poetry is my favorite. Got to love my Byron and Shelley!" He chuckled a little as he remembered he was being somewhat loud for a library, considering how loud he normally spoke. When Molly introduced herself he nodded his head before giving a little bow, holding the books up to his chest. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Molly." The sparrow fixed up his posture before giving a little salute as he said, in an indoor voice. "Just lead the way~" |

"Oh definitely," she raised one eyebrow and smiled. She looked at him for just a second longer before turning around and walking carefully towards the poetry section, attempting to remain balanced with the heavy weight in her arms. "So do you actually like poetry or has this English project brainwashed you into sounding so enthusiastic?" she asked as she set her pile of books on the nearest table. She subtly wiped her hands on the skirt of her uniform. Why was carrying a few books suddenly such hard work?! "By the way, I told you mine, so what's your name?" Molly mused, hoping she hadn't missed hearing him say it. |

Julius followed after his little library guide, bouncing a little with each step he took. It looked like she was still struggling with her books, but before he could say anything she started talking so he did not want to interrupt her. "Oh, how rude of me." The sparrow chuckled, both at his mistake and her little joke. He walked beside her, although leaving a space between them. "My name is Julius, I am a senior here~" He chirped cheerfully. "I am normally okay in English, it really matters on what we are working on. I just like analyzing the meaning and stuff behind poems and stuff like that." The sparrow felt like he must have been boring her so he changed the subject, "You have quite a number of books with you, Molly. What are you reading?" |

"Really?! That's like the complete opposite of me... I HATE analyzing literature, I do it enough of that in my personal life! Everyone says I over-think things... and they're probably right," she sighed and rolled her eyes at herself. She knelt down on the ground and began pushing aside the books, looking for the perfect one. Just as she had started she heard Julius say, ""You have quite a number of books with you, Molly. What are you reading?" She stood up and glanced over at her day's collection of library books. "Oh those? Well... I read a lot of things... Like... okay don't think I'm weird or anything but I love non-fiction. I usually pick those over novels actually... I just really like to learn new things. Every time I have a question about something, I'll type it into my phone and at the end of the week, I'll go to the library and check a book out on every subject of each of my questions. My recent obsession has been Anthropology, I think I wanna be a forensic anthropologist when I get out of school and..." she trailed off, suddenly very aware of her incessant rambling. "And, yeah, haha! I just read a lot." |

Julius chuckled a little as Molly talked, watching as she knelt down to look at the books. It was kind of funny how different they were, but she still seemed really interesting. He did not want to interrupt her as she excitedly talked about books and things that she liked. He was a little disappointed when she suddenly trailed off and stopped, but he smiled as he knelt down as well, although he was looking more at her than the actual books. "I am totally the opposite~" The sparrow said with a little laugh. "I am more interested in fiction, more of the fantasy aspect because..." He trailed off for a bit, not wanting to say the reason was mainly because of his addiction to his MMORPGs, "...well my friends got me interested in it. I kind of wish I had your habit though. You are really amazing, so studious and everything. Not to mention you know what you want to do. Are you going to go more into the Law or Historical side of anthropology?" |

Molly sat and tucked her legs underneath her, facing more towards Julius than the bookshelves. "Oh don't get me wrong, I totally love sci-fi and fantasy and all kinds of fiction, it's just that it's so hard to find any decent books these days... It's almost like I read all of the good ones back in middle school and now there's nothing left!" she laughed. "But yeah I guess so... although "amazing" isn't exactly the best word for me," she blushed fiercely. "I'm actually not that smart at all... I just try really really hard. I just wish I was a natural genius like my parents are, life would be SO much easier..." she sighed longingly. She thought about her sister for a brief moment. She was always the intelligent one. Molly always wondered why she got trapped in the shallow end of the gene pool. "But y'know, I'm really not sure about that... I'm thinking the law side just because I can help solve crimes and give back to the community... But digging up and examining ancient remains seems so much more interesting! But I guess I have a few years to decide. She blushed yet again, realizing how much she had been talking about herself. She had never talked about her personal life this much before with anyone but a few close friends. What she really wanted was to get to know this guy more so she quickly put in, "What about you? What does your future look like thus far?" |
