Jose was a lawyer and judge in his native Colombia who worked as a realtor in the United States. Rebecca worked as a seamstress in a factory. Richard was given the opportunity to study and he took a liking to business. After studying finance at the University of Denver and Northwestern University, Salazar worked for eleven years at UBS in New York City, specifically in global asset management. His career in finance brought him much success, but he left the Big Apple after the 9/11 terror attacks. Returning home to Colorado, Salazar took his expertise with him and opened an investment company he called Pinnacle Investments. He worked as CEO of the investment company for eight years before the itch to enter public office hit him. Salazar sold his firm to Fidelity Investments for a hefty sum and embarked on a campaign to represent his native 3rd district of Colorado. He defeated his Democratic challenger in the 2010 election and has been serving the people of Colorado since then. |

Thanks for the welcome, guys. This is Joe Sanchez back for another round. Some of you may remember me as Joe who CA'd this place at one point. It's great to see it in such good shape. Reed, I don't know you, but you're one kick ass admin. |
