US representative for Arizona's second district(2008- Current) Biography: On October 9, 1968, Janet Michaelson and George Michaelson gave birth to their third child (first son), Ron Michaelson, in Flagstaff, Arizona. Ron Grew up playing football, baseball, and rugby as a kid, and through Flagstaff High School, where he attended high school, he was found to be very successful, but it was in the debate club, did he find his talent. when Ron graduated his senior year at FHS, he left with an overall G.P.A. of 4.76. and was the Valedictorian. From Flagstaff he then continued his education at Brown University with a degree in political science and history. at Brown he worked part time as a graduate assistant. He then moved to Spokane, WA and studied to receive a masters in organizational leadership at the University of Gonzaga. As soon as Ron graduated in 1995, he immediately enrolled for the Ph.D program at G.U. in organizational leadership. After a couple years of relaxation with his wife, in which he met while attending Gonzaga, and new family, Ron decided to get a new masters degree under his belt. At Stanford University in 2001, Ron went back to school to study finances. in his off time he was an assistant professor at Stanford where he taught organizational leadership. When he finished working near the end of November, Ron moved to Texas to teach organizational leadership at the University of Texas at Austin for three years before deciding to move back to his home state of Arizona. here is where Ron used all his tools to become a representative for Arizona's second district. he currently lives in Glendale, Arizona and still holds the representative spot. |
