A Personal Campaign Machine - The Frank Underwood of VUSA

Name: Anthony T. Rifenburg Date of Birth: November 7, 1964 (50) Place of Birth: Ventura, California Place of Residence: Yreka, California (Until November 8th, 2012) Current Place of Residence: Charlotte, North Carolina District & State of Representation: None, Retired Party: Republican Religion: Catholic Ethnicity: Italian Family Info; Spouse: Bailey Rifenburg (Maried 1988, 26 years) Children: Jack Rifenburg (bn. 1989, 25), Amanda Rifenburg (bn. 1992, 22), Monica Rifenburg (1996, 18) Education Info; College: UCLA Degree(s): Major in Political Science, Major in Business Management Occupational History; United States Marine: 1986-1994 Small Business Owner: 1995-2010 US Representative (2010-2012) Vice President of (Private) Defense Contracting Company (2013) Updated Life We all know the life of Former Congressman Anthony Rifenburg from 2011 to 2012. A failed GOP Primary in 2012 against the eventufull GOP nominee Kim Hoynes, who lost in the general election to now President, Joseph Leeds. But what most people don't know is what happened after the year 2012. When Rifenburg originally announced his intentions to run for the republican party nominee, he decided not to put his name on the ballot for re-election, like many failed nominee candidates do. When they lose in the primaries, they still have their name on in the general election to remain holding on to their congressional seat. But Congressman Rifenburg did not. So what did he do? Anthony stayed in California, for voter registration reasons and such, to stay in his home town. The day of his birthday, he announced that once his term in Congress was expired in January of 2013, he and his wife Bailey, would be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina. To move away and begin a new life with an early retirement at age 49. They bought a home, and season tickets to the Bobcats (but ony went to games when the Lakers were in town. Just because he moved away dosen't mean his ties and aspirations are severed. ). They were enjoying their retirement in their home in their new state. Anthony got involved in local politics, donating to various candidates. He got bored, and not to take an overly challenging job, he decided to apply to the vice presidency of a defense contracting business that supplied armor to the navy and united states military. Combining his military and business experience prior to public service. After a year, he decided to try something new, and come out of retirement to challenge Kay Hagan for her Senate Seat. Rifenburg has yet to officially anounce or form a committee. But his name recognition nationwide, just as good (if not better) than most, including his personal warchect and finances, Rifenburg should make a good, very good bid to become Senator Rifenburg at the beginning of 2015. |

I figured I might try a different state. When I win in a statewide race in California with anywhere from 51.9 to 54.5%, I wonder how I will do in a state that is just a tad more conservative than my home state.
