This article from the ASHA Leader (2005) discusses treatment of voice disorders in teachers through randomized clinical trials. The study compares treatment through vocal exercises, through amplification, and by a treatment called Resonance Therapy.
Resonance Therapy involves training teachers to use their speak in such a way as to make their voices strong, while minimizing stress from vocal fold impact.
