"And how do we find this superfan's house after we get there?" Phantom asked. "I don't suppose the internet gave you his exact address."

SCOTT

"No... But we can cross that bridge when we come to it!" Jason replied.
Scott looked up, "it might be obvious?" He suggested, thinking that a 'superfan' might have external indications on their house to suggest they may be a 'superfan.'

OOC: I can RP a really cheesy stereotypical Cumbrian man to be the 'superfan' if needed :)
Edit: also oops...

ooc: Go ahead. :)

ic: After collecting everyone's money, exchanging dollars for pounds, and counting it out, they had just enough to take public transit to Scott's neighborhood. By the time they got there, though, everyone was quite hungry. Airline peanuts did not make a good meal.

"What I wouldn't give for a replicator," said Phantom. "I hope this superfan will feed us."

OOC: I always thought Scott was from Mars ;)
Bic:
It felt good to be home, and not in trouble for stealing a plane. "I have food too, or do you want to get straight to finding the superfan?" Jason asked.
Scott was also glad not to be in trouble for stealing a plane as well... He was quite excited again now. Scott turned to speak to Thomas, who still had his tricorder. Unfortunately, things were still icy between them...
"Um, Murphy, if all this guys fake tech has turned real, do you think you would pick up emissions to help find him?" He suggested

Tom and Thomas had followed everyone else up until this point. It was no less stressful for Ensign Murphy though, as he was constantly kept on his toes trying to keep Tom in check and stop him wandering off. Or harassing the crew again.

The Ensign looked up as Scott addressed him, taking care to reply in a neutral tone. "I guess, let me check." He answered as he pulled out his tricorder and flicked it open, tapping a few buttons and frowning at the screen. "I... don't know..." The tricorder emitted a tinny little beep and its lights blinked a few times. Thomas turned the tricorder over as the embossed words "Made in China" appeared on the back. "I think it's broken... It was working earlier."

Tom perked up, and for once seemed like he might come in handy. "The Star Trek flat? Are we looking for that?" He grinned widely and whipped his phone out of his pocket. "I know where to find it!" He exclaimed gleefully as he typed something into his phone and turned it to show everyone. ( Lets just pretend this is where we want it to be...)

ooc: LOL! Faelon and I have one of those toy tricorders.

Also, coolest apartment ever.

ic: "Good work," said Janeway. "How far is it?"

Tom looked at the page displayed on his phone. "Um... I'm not sure... here!" He shoved the phone at Jason who seemed to know the area better than him. "It's such a cool flat, right? Would totally love to visit it." He said with a smile.

Jason looked at Tom's phone and then to the street name behind him. "Oh." He turned and looked at a building with a large model of Voyager hanging from it's second floor. "I think it could be there..." How had he never noticed before?

ooc: LOL!

ic: "Huh," said Phantom. "Are we sure this guy's stable? He might be a little obsessed."

Janeway arched an eyebrow. "You spend your time pretending to be me with a group of people you've never met before today."

"...good point. Let's go."

Scott lead the way up to the door and knocked on it.
A man in his 60s walked up to the door and opened it. His hair was whiting and his face was slightly wrinkled. Between his yellowing teeth was a piece of long grass which he was chewing. He wore the same uniform as Scott, but with captains pips.
"Mornin'" he grunted in Scott's direction.

ooc: OMG perfect!

ic: It was at that moment that everyone realized they hadn't decided what story they were going to present to make the superfan let them use his stuff.

Phantom opened her mouth, but Janeway, not at all certain she'd like the story that came out, spoke first. "Hi, we're from a local storytelling group, as you can see." She gestured to their uniforms. "We were hoping we could see your setup and take some hol--um, some images in it for inspiration. Could we come in for a few minutes?"

OOC: Go Janeway!
The man looked them for a few seconds before giving what could be considered a smile. "Aye. You look a bit like that 'ere Kate Mulgrew." He said stepping aside to let them enter, admiring Janeway. "Would any of you like a cuppa?"

OOC: It will be interesting to see how much of my Cumbrian you all understand ;)

"Aye." The man replied.
"I'll have a cup of Lancashire if you have one." Jason asked, the man looked at him disgusted. "I have Pennington's." Jason nodded, "that'll be nice thank you."
Scott was still embarrased from his Irn Bru mishap in America, so he merely asked for the same.
As the last person entered his house, the man turned to the last person to enter. "Put t' wood in t' owl."
