Krys blinked... still befuddled... Still holding her uniform jacket, hair a mess.... still coffee deprived.... She snapped her mouth shut a ran a hand through her already-thoroughly-ruffle hair. "This is about on par with how my day has been going. Why am I even surprised?"

------------ MEANWHILE------------

Alina banged harder on the front door and rang the doorbell a few times, trying not to giggle with nervous, nerdy glee as the Voyager Themesong began anew each time she pushed the button. The effect was something akin to 4-5 different orchestras peeling out a massively dysfunctional version of "Row, Row, Row your Starship" in rounds.

The Kirian Race is a species I created. They're from the M Class Planet,

pass through solid objects except for dense metals or

"I guess the computer did real number on us... while doing a number, itself", Jaden half-joked, then got to work immediately, and started to scan the replica transporter with his ocular sensor, "well, the basic technology is there, but we're going to need a heisenberg compensator... anybody know where we can get one?", he asked, not wanting to build one, but knowing that would probably be the case. "What is that noise?", he asked, hearing a very high-pitched sound that no-one else seems to be reacting to, except possibly 7 of 9, who's noticeably trying to ignore it.

As the superfan reacted with not unexpected skepticism, Janeway looked him dead in the eye and said, "Yes. We are."

Meanwhile, Phantom opened the door to see a young woman standing there whom she'd never met before. "Hi. Can we help you?"

"But you can't be. It's just a telebox show!" He exlaimed in frustration.

Murphy gave Krys a sympathetic look. She looked pretty frazzled, like she had been dragged out of bed and through time a few centuries. He was less familiar with Jaden, having not had many encounters with him aboard the ship. He quickly recounted the state of the equipment they had and the progress he had made. Nodding towards Jaden's comment, Murphy produced a device he had cobbled together after cannibalising one of the terminals. "I have this. It won't last long, but I think it should give us one beam out, and thats all we need. It's gonna be a rough one though, I wasn't able to do anything about the Transpheric stabilisers." He explained as he handed the device over for Jaden to examine.

Murphy turned to the Captain. "Ma'am, may I speak to you in private a moment?" He asked quietly, nodding towards the door into the kitchen.

Jaden looked at the device and began scanning it with his ocular sensor, the device was imperfect, but it would suffice for what they needed it for. "Crude, but effective" he stated in almost a borg way, while still trying to figure out where the high pitched noise was coming from, it was almost like ringing in one's ear, but only 7 of 9 and Jaden were having any noticeable reaction to it, although 7's reaction could have just been from the noise around the room, between the fans and the owner. "Seven, can you hear that high pitched squeal?" He asked her as he wondered if he was simply hearing things.

Alina breathed a sigh of relief as the door finally swung inwards and instead of a grumpy multi-millionaire, she was met by a vaguely familiar face. "You! You've gotta be phantom! You look just like those picture on your author's website. Gosh, it's been forever since you showed us, bu I'm really good with faces.... Or maybe I'm just creepy... I don't know, I don't really feel creepy... but.... oh crap, I'm rambling, aren't I?"

She stuck out a hand, "I'm Krys! Real Krys! Except I'm actually Alina, nice to meet you!"

Since the hyperfan appeared to be struggling to process everything happening, Janeway gave him a moment and accompanied Murphy to the kitchen. "What is it?"

Phantom blinked, and then quite calmly accepted that yet another member of the board had showed up. "Krys! Hi! So nice to meet you! Come in; we're trying to make this stuff work."

"I'm sorry, this must seem super stalkerish, me just shpwing up like this. But I spotted you guys in the british airport, but between luggage, my brother, and the rental car, I was never quite able to catch up." She ran her hand through her hair and redid her ponytail as they walked. "JC is in the car, he just flew us over from Germany. Thank god he'd finished the paperwork for the Cessna already when I saw you."

She scratched her head as the drew nearer to the replica room. "So, I picked up from the messages that there was something weird happening, and I saw you had Janeway, Seven, and some others with you in the airport. What's going on exactly? Are they an away mission? Did they all come together?"

"No, they all started showing up one at a time, usually right around whoever RP's them. But we all connected on the board and got together to try to figure out how to send them back."

Phantom smiled and waved toward Krys. "Hi Lieutenant. This is your creator." She then gestured to Alina.

Krys blanched. She'd had barely minutes for someone to fill her in on the jist of what was going on. Not only was her Voyager Family just the characters in a visual entertainment program, but she wasn't even part of that program, her entire planet, her race, were just made up. For somebody who was expecting coffee to be her biggest need for the day, she was having a bit of an existential crisis. Everyone else seemed to be rolling with it. Her brain felt like it was about to explode. Her face quirked once, then she looked up at Alina. "Creator, huh?" She smirked, letting her natural sarcasm roll out unfettered.

"You couldn't have made me a bit taller?"

Murphy breathed deeply. "I've been looking at the data we were able to gather about the subspace tear the Computer transported us though..." He began, handing the Captain a padd he had acquired from among the superfans collection. He was surprised it seemed to be functional. "I... I can't see any indication that the Computer meant for us to end up here. There was no way to direct the transport beam once it entered the tear."

He looked the Captain direct in the eye. "I don't think we can guarantee that if we go back through the tear we'll end up in the same place we left."

Jaden finished checking the device and opened a panel on the transporter to install it. He looked at Krys and laughed a little at her sarcasm, looking back at the open panel, he noticed something odd. "Lt. DiCaprio... you're going to want to see this", he said suddenly.

Krys zeroed in on Jaden's summons immediately. She nodded cordially to the two women and turned to the console. "What is it, ensign?"

Jaden pointed toward one of the power relays, concerned about the kind of energy it's using, "This power relay might make it slightly difficult to calibrate the system correctly, what do you think?", he asked her.
